@emekauzor i like the breakdown of your analysis on the banking sector,u must have put in some xtra effort to gather such info,although u dint get everything on point but ur close in terms of figures,now i want u to correct this line, In terms of pay, the Oil boys may be ahead initially [color=#990000]they will always be ahead but the problem is that they hardly get promoted unlike a banker that can become a BM within 4-5years whereas your friend in the oil sector is just about getting his 1st promotion and a time is coming when money might not be important again but positions. that is why you see people introducing themselves as Head of this and that while your friend in the oil industry is still saying yes sir to the same Oga he has been saying it to for 5 years.[/color], dont even go there, what are the bases of promotions in the banking sector?the fastest pople to rise in the sector are those that hit thier financial targets and not those that have the capacity to run the operations of the bank.u really cant compare these cadre of people in the oil sector because u wouldnt believe the training they undergo,locally and internationally.the entry level of the banking sector is not streamlined to the courses the staff obtained and due to the strict targets hung on them with little or no time,they find it very hard to upgrade themselves and also due to the poor iniciatives of the managment of most of these banks they wouldnt even send these people for courses to upgrade them,u end up seeing that 5yrs later,what u started with is what u still have when u friends in the oil sector have Msc,ACA,, PHD, other degreez that would position them for anther offer in thesame sector that would still pay better than your BM. Truly speaking, the best thing you can do for yourself is to be self employed. I have read about bankers and I just can not help laughing at times. Banking is not all about marketing and begging for money. There are other technical depts. --- financial control, treasury, credit admin etc. im not really comparing the oil and banking sector coz the oil sector still rules okay You never know how far until you're in the system, yep ur very right |

dlox01 --I am not a negative person in life. And honestly I do not want to get into negative mind set with you.uv bin negetive from the start I do not want to put fashola down. It is not my business to do it. The real issue in lagos is not fashola, but the people of Lagos. You look like you are more interested in fashola, good for you. But my concern is the people of Lagos. 1. You claim that some state do not have street light for God sake. Do we still live in the stone age in Nigeria. To even compare yourself with failure shows you the level lagos have gone that far. It use to be a state that lead and other follow. So now we now compare ourself with failing state. Iya maje omo ti oni mama. Most governor have brought buses. kano, osun, rivers because they did not call BRT . street lights are powered by electricity which in turn has been monopolised by the defluct NEPA now PHCN which is governed by the fderal government.iniciatives have been taken by the private sector and lagos state to do something about that,lagos state in one of its projcts had to ban the use of ordinary wood as bill boards and now opt for electronical ones,this would however light up the state in a positve way,imagine that at places like ikeja under bridge,ojuelegba,maryland,Cms and other places or hideouts as the case maybe.metion the states that can brag of such initiatives?bare in mind in the last administration,it was proposed by the state government to have an independent Power sector to counter act nepa but noooooooo it was thrown out by the federal arm, if that was in progress alot would change,more private investors foreign and local would do business at a better rate not generator rates,now u understand dont u? as 4 ur BRT acusation, be more specific,what did the other states buy it 4??and what did they call it??BRT is not just buying buses ,dim wit, do the ones in other states have designated lanes?how many people are transported per hour?please break it down. 2. How do you compare lagos with Balyase, they live in creeks. they need ferry. And this state do not make that much money from internal generate revenue. only from federal. live in creeks with how many ferries??has the state provided for its few people?the internal revenue of lagos was beefef up by the presnt govnor,how many states can boast of thesame even being from thesame political party?there are countries like Botswana that have a popultion of about 2million but can cater for themselves, y cant the little staes do the same?they have less to cater 4 and they have even higher revenue from the federal arm?y cant they build on their own resources?Calabar/Tourism/Tinapa, ring a bell.Dullard?!?! 3. tell us which LA school fashola children are going to. Can he transfer his children to the one in Ajegunle please. LA school adegunle. That is the way to be close to the people. Not sit in Lekki or victoria island or ikoyi with the rich. About getting rich for lagos contract, i actually work 9-5 in a top oil company and my allowance takes care of my needs and it can take care of yours too, just come to lagos. i know you need attention and i will give it to you,i have read a number of things you have been writing and i see the misplaced child in u,u just happen to be one of those that used church as a cover up 2 generate money 2 leave this country now u feel u are any better hyping what is not urs.i was brought up not to do stuff like that.i come to the US and other parts of the country not to sweep and clean the streets and i made it in this country,i work very hard and this is the result.,i feel u should too so u can put your money where ur mouth is.i help as many people i can and this is all part of it. you placed a pic of a school that was badly depreciated, id like to ask you, when u ran away from this country with christain org money, how much of your sweat money has been put to develop the primary or secondary school u finished from,at least they do that in the country u are slaving now,y dint you pick such a good gesture and share with lagosians instead of filling the treads with late Awolowo's pictures and embarassing yourself? |

Ekene Dili Chukwu transport have more than 100 buses. You claim he is sincere, was he part of the fraud that took plac in lagos for 8 years. When lagos money was use to buy an oil company, I do not want to agrue with you on fashola, get you fact bout the budget(is it the one allocated by the federal gov to state or states internal revenue that they plan to use?).lagos dosnt have the highest allocation despite it being the most populated.I wonder what other states like Bayelsa and co are doing.BRT is a thing to regoice about,due to the fact that people have been crippled with mentallity of the ricketty Molue buses.BRT buses are actually 220 not 100 and ekene dili chukwu is interstate which moves 48 passengers in aday, BRT 48 or more puttin into concideration drop and carry in less than an hour, multiply that by 220 and by 16 hours ull get a ruff sketch about the people happy with the project or the prospect(more buses on the way) of the project.DOnt bother arguing bout Fashola,he was cheif of staff for ruffly 3yrs not 8,so your oil company story??check on it okay?? We can not put our people lifes in the hand of people who do not care for them and who use state money to buy oil company or steal for it. Even if man does not see them. God is looking at them. @arnold 1 i am very impressed with ur point of veiw,u were very on point!!keep it up. its not easy governing a people of that magnitude.Lagos state is a Megacity ie over 10million people with diffrent backgrounds and goals trooping in n out,and with two political parties that wont work together itz really hard for the governor. i believe he is doing fine.About the Oyedepo school and Lasu,what is the population of each school and how much are thier fees?? |

itz MADNESS!!!im not talking about just Convenant Uni but other universities with such Lust for eradicating its students and not refunding thier money.If they really meant what they say,give the students back their money if they dare.That is not even the point,did dat school ever put it in writing about the bibiles??nope!!it was a verbal thing and they slamed it on the students.This trend happens in other private universities too.In a Private uni in the east,student were not allowed to use camera phones or cameras, do u all know why??because the authority was scared thier abnomal ways of handling the students would leak to the general public,back then the school had a prison and the authority beat up the students,matters there were so bad a student was beaten to death and they claimed he was a cultist and was beaten where he went to blend him(which was a huge lie coz i watched the whole thing happen at about 2.30am under the rain)the boy later dies(2days later)the parents dont know the truth till today,this is a secret i had to bear with all my life  . Now for al of you that support the unecessary rules and bloody lies these schools pull out,if u were a parent and u child was expelled for not bringing a bible how whould u take it??maaaaan shit utmost shit! i wonder what punishment the owner of the school,oyedepo right??puts on himself when ever he offeneds God?does he take it upon himself to stop Preaching or Xpell himself from Godly activities?or what??what does he do?There are alot of things happening inside the walls of these universites that if u know u would be shocked, i could give a dozen,even more!!!oh yea, before i 4get,private uni chicks club tha hardest n also fall 4 the cheapest pick up lines(trust me i know)!!!they are like Dogs just let off thier leach,straight up freedom from school maaaan |
