swap is the interest rate differential

GBP interest rate is greater than jpy interest rate, when you buy Gbpjpy, you will have positive swap, selling will yield negative swap.

similarly, USD interest rate is greater than EUR interest rate, if you buy Eurusd, you will have negative swap and vice versa

Positive swap on gbpjpy.. My Ogas pls explain why it's so. I always experience a negative swap.. Is it like gpyjpy always have a positive swap..

The last time I made that mistake, The plan was to open 1 lot on my Tft 100k competition account. I go mistakenly open 1 lot size on one pair on my 10k challenge account set SL for $500 TP $1450... Thank God the trade was positive with $40 before I double checked and saw the mistake... I close instantly.. I dey imagine if na straight to Sl. I won't only take loss but also loose the account.. Since then I dey tripple check whether na eightcap I dey or thinkmarket grin

Those are lots taken on a $10k funded accts.

It depends on priority. As for me marriage doesn't stop education. We need to stop planning our marital life based on sch wateva.. Marriage is as important as schooling and none of them is guaranteed for success. She has ND which is good, she can get a personal business for herself while running the HND part time. Why must she depend on the husbands promise.

Well I don't blame ladies that thinks marriage isn't the next thing at 29-30. You guys are all enjoying what is meant to be enjoyed in marriage so you don't care

Had it been we are in a society that doesn't allow pre-marital sex, all of una go no say body no be firewood and you ll get married in time.

so I reentered my position. We really need to know what we are doing to succeed in this business. This week has been full of stop hunt. Ending the week in a loss but with a knowledge on how to reenter after stop hunt is confirmed... Not a good week but I'm glad cool

If no be say I get strong head. Na this week I suppose give up on trading finally. Both trend following trades and counter trend trades failed woefully. Even chfjpy that's very loyal to me betrayed me this week... Account down with -1.9% cry

Brent Crude traders, I doubt if market will come for retest back to my entry but let's watch the pair tommorow incase it goes back to the entry. Let's sell with big lot and keep adding to loosing position... If our Sl hit, let's wait for an inverted hammed on H1 then we go full margin 😂😂

Hmn!! You are right. It's wrong to trade with borrowed money. The fear of not wanting to loose the money, the haste in looking for big profits so as to meet up with the deadline for repayment, and the failure rate in the industry will mess up ones psyche and push us into a terrible risk management situation. To win in this business, you have to make it a Plan B while you use your Plan A source of income to gain confidence. I've got 2 $100 logo job this month on upwork so why I go dey complain about Stop loss hit when no be the TP dey feed me at the moment😅

You are doing perfectly well..All these will be an history very soon. Risk management is the Holy Grail. I haven't seen any significant win this week as well. But all my losses pack together isn't even up to my last TP. A big win will come.. Just avoid big losses.

I'm glad I learnt something new today. I was stop hunted in the first place, reentered when price formed an inverted hammer. I'm glad it worked out... I will look out to more of stop hunts grab 😘

What I did is to figure out why I dy chop loss and flee from such situations

Eg, i incur lots of losses when trading a ranging market.

Yeah.. Most of them are counter trend trades. Sometimes they work out well and some times they don't.. That's why I'm using 0.05, 0.02. I use 0.10 and above for trend following trades.

Until you show me your chart with your Entry, Stop and TP, then I might be convinced. But for now the price is trading in a channel on the weekly and I won't take this close below it as a valid breakout...its a counter trend trade so I'm not going in full lots size so as to be comfortable with the loss.

EURNZD drop for like 40pips in profit and later retraced and took me out. I won't sell or buy this pair again until I can see it drop down to 1.72098, then I can go long from there and target 1.80802

I took profit early and re-entred when price came back to my entry only for me to give back her profit.
