Richy4: On the contrary. That bold thing i read shows that maybe you don't live on this planet. So you think you can get all that quality from only one lady? Haba!!!
It is just like a lady saying she wants to date a tall, rich, handsome guy. Who is none smoker, gentile and above all has the fear of God.
So get ready for a long bachelor hood. Besides it not a crime to be a bachelor. So get a dog as pet. If trained, it got all you wanted. I get your point. We cant just have it all. And today's woman lacks very many of the aforesaid qualities, how much more having all. Not impossible, but extremely difficult today. |

Kingsasian: Op, u are the replica of me. I rarely ask ladies out no matter how pretty or beautiful they are. I take my time to study ladies before I do that. The few I hv dated I asked them out on phone and that is after it is obvious that they are into me. I don't do the things regular guys do. I could remember how two girls complained that I was too blind to see the "green lights" they showed me but I told them that they lacked some of the basic attributes I need in a lady. Thanks, Op for baring my heart. Point blank! |

Awesome01: Registration? as in? don't get you. kindly shed more light. Barca are hoping they could register Arda before January. Officially the transfer ban ended on the 1st of September and as such, we are free to make signings from subsequent windows. Meanwhile, with the law in place in Spain, we could ask RFEF to register Arda since we already lost a player (to be out for this season). So with the law, we could register another player in place of that player. The tricky thing there is, FIFA might wanna give us a hard time. But by defaults, there shouldnt be any problem with them. But since in recent times they have been hitting us hard, it might be difficult getting what we seek prior to January. |

bykebyke: Abeg jor...leave our star boy...The only thing on my mind is how do we bury a red hot Celta Vigo and silence Nolito. Imagine someone saying Neymar sees himself as the next best player after Messi. If Messi aint there, who will take that mantle if not Neymar? People sha. Well, why am I even worried? Even the club knows he is and that is the more reason they are guarding him like the apple of its eyes. |

philfearon: The guy arguing against Sergi Roberto,You forgot one thing: The coach Factor .. Rafinha got more playing time last season than Roberto cuz of his past relationship with Lucho. Thiago was too good, yet even the desired amount of play time he sought,he never got. I remember 2009/2010 season when Guardiola started benching a striker in the calibre of Ibrahimovic for Bojan. Do you even know how long it took Iniesta and Xavi to get starting roles at Barca? Guily was one of our top stars at a time, but he was sold to accommodate Messi. In the case of Toure and Busquets, was Toure sold cuz he was not good enough? And what of Pedro and Dennis Suarez? Even Song that played his best season in an Arsenal shirt before we snapped him up,was less preferred and his career was almost certainly tainted and ruined cuz of this move; Was he also bad? Never forget the coach Factor bro.. The fact That Sergio Roberto is excelling in this RB role is because he is just that good.....He didn't learn it afresh...It was in him!.....and I have rarely seen him play bad in midfield too! Nice one. |

barackohandso: The few games he played last season, he never filled me with confidence TBH. He can surely improve I admit but that doesn't mean I should rate him higher than he currently plays
Yes I agree he can play against the lowly rated teams to improve his game and I hope for the sake of the team that he does
You dey mind sevilla? Yeye team. Na to dey form commando when dem meet us dem sabi Mehn, we go find am hot on Wednesday when we go play Celta for their home oooooo. those people no wan gree at all. Make we also dey hope say that same day, Bilbao go fit help us hold Madrid for San Mames. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad: 12:11pm On Sep 20, 2015 |
barackohandso: I judge a player on what I see him play, not what he can improve to be. If a player is good, there's no ifs or maybes, he's good. Rafinha is about his age and we both know he's better. Busquests and Javi Martinez at 20 were already in the Spanish national team playing against the best teams There are different factors that play either in favour of a player or against him. If you wanna look at it from such angle, at Samper's age, why is he still playing in the 3rd division? Does that mean he aint good? Of course not. Thats to tell you that opportunities differ, and so do other factors. Anyway, like I said, he is not as bad as some of us make him seem. Not saying he is great at midfield, but definitely not at the level some of us degrade him to be. Plus, some players can be great at a position and thats just it, some others might not be that good in a certain position, but coud be useful if not more in other positions. Such players should be appreciated too. I wonder if Roberto had not been there to cover for Dani and the other RBs, what would have happened? Certainly, he played the Busi role last season and he did great in nearly all the matches he played in that position. I even thought that was the best that could be done with him, to make him a make-shift DM. But alas, he came this season with another surprise to debut at RB. Lets just see how things evolve. He could play in the middle against lowly teams like Levante, Las Palmas and the likes... I dont think he is that bad that he couldnt be featured in midfield against such teams. Meanwhile, useless Sevilla dey lose 0-2 for their home against Celta. If them see Barca now, all their body go strong. Wednesday's game against Celta would not be a cake-walk. Na only God go help us ooooooo. |

barackohandso: Awesome? For real? Maybe you're talking about another Roberto. See how surprised everybody is that he's playing well at right back when he couldn't do that well at his own midfield role TBH, he is not as bad as some of us have made him seem. Maybe we expect too much from him. Think about it... |

Awesome01: With the recent lack of depth in the midfield now and inconsistencies and injuries.
Which would you prefer?
Sergi Roberto moving back to midfield while Lord Douglas or Adriano having another chance at right back?
or
Messi dropping to partner Iniesta in midfield while Sandro partners Suarez/Neymar upfront? I think the latter would be more beneficial to the team. |
