Leyqute: Lineup seems okay. Mata and Lingard can link attack and defense. Hererra can run around like he's used to and Matic will do his thing. I'm counting on Lukaku to score and I hope Rashford has part ways with his demon.
But what if Mourinho is planning another "defensive masterclass?" Against West Brom? |

senorova: Hehe. Awon e-rats will always prove their obtuse reasonings will double standards.
They said pep cannot survive the EPL. Even with the massive trashing he took in his first season, City still finished above Man Utd, and Arsenal , who supposedly have coaches with enough experience to have mastered the tactics of the EPL. Against popular opinions of these Epl e-rats, Pep's Man city had more possession, better passing accuracy than all other teams. The legendary tiki-taka did work in a supposedly kick and run, break a leg, and competitive league. Spitss
Because this gentleman couldn't win in his first season, they called him a fraud.... Considering that there was a certain Arsene Wenger and an ever moaning mourinho who had just good enough players and enough money to win the EPL, the e-rats would rather hate on Pep. For the e-rats, they wanted the world to believe that the EPL was as tough as they believed, and the only man who could take away that pseudo-reputation was none other than the Barcelona-esque Pep. It was collective hatred of Barca's dominance over top EPL teams in European competitions, and a somewhat vendetta against the quintessential Messi .
But alas, My God is still alive . Pep not only bossed their useless league, he did it in massive style. 15 consecutive wins, and destroying the "Bridge" and the fvcking "Trafford" while at it. The hurt was too great! Moaninho who perhaps is the best coach the EPL has ever witnessed bar SIr Alex, lost to Pep a record 9 times across all competitions. Even the legendary Sir Alex shook to his balls when he faced this genius of a man at the crux of Europe's competition.
The same way these e-rats said about Messi, not only has he rubbished their best teams...he has as a matter of fact scored the most against EPL teams than any other non EPL player. My utmost heart desire is that, he breaks his jinx against chelsea come February, and silence the EPL rats once and for all!
Take it or leave it, Pep Guardiola is schooling the EPL as it is. And the more sad thing is that he is just starting! None of the top 6 coaches bar Pep have the technical competence, nor tactical nous to compete against pep Guardiola. They will either copy him, or get sacked
EPL fans, your L starts Now! You deserve an award for this... |

jonsnow92: Alright then..Since you insist we shouldn't talk about Pep and City yet cos I'm ready to take u on on that..About EPL teams beating laliga teams this season.
Let's go down the memory lane and then I'll show you its an exception and not the norm in recent times..
Let's start from 08/09 season..Barca knocked out Chelsea in the Semis and Beat United in the final 2-0..09/10..Barca raped Arsenal 6-3 in the Champions league QF, Atletico knocked out Liverpool in the Semifinal of the Europa league and also beat Fulham in the Final of the Europa league that same season...Now 10/11, Barca beat Arsenal 4-3 in the Round of 16, Madrid trashed This same Tottenham 5-0 in the QF that same year, Barca then went on to beat United 3-1 in the final at Wembley..Of course you haven't forgotten how Fergie developed cold and cartarh suddenly that Night..
Let's go to 11/12..Valencia beat stoke 2-0 in Europa League R32 and knocked stoke out..That same season was when Munian(19yr old at the time) let Atlethic Bilbao to beat United in the Europa league 3-2 and knocked them out..Chelsea knocked Out Barca 3-2 in the Semis that season though..That makes the scores here Laliga 10 v EPL 1...
12/13..UEFA super cup Falcao scored an Hatrick as Atl raped Chelsea 4-1...Also Ororo led Madrid to beat United in the R16..Madrid won 3-2 and knocked out United again..
13/14..Barca beat City 4-1 in R16 and thus knocked City out of the CL..(City were eventual champions of the EPL that same season)..Also Atletico defeated Chelsea 3-1 in the Semi Final and thus knocked Chelsea out of the CL that same season to set up an all Spanish final.
14/15...Barca beat City again 3-1 and knocked city out again in R16 of the CL..
15/16..Barca Gangraped Arsenal again 5-1 in R16 of the CL and knocked them out..Also Madrid beat City 1-0 in the CL Semis that same season and thus knocked them out..Not forgetting that Sevilla also beat Liverpool in the Europa league Final that season..This makes the scores Laliga 19..EPL 1..
So this shows that Tottenham and Chelsea won this year are actually the exceptions and not the norm..So biko is the Epl comparable to the LA liga with these evidences??.. Dont you think you should cover your face in shame?..Dont bring up this argument again and pls take your L in shame. Wow!!! So many Ls to contend with. |

You think Madrid would care about Barça being the only Spanish team, or they would want us to be eliminated? The latter would always be the case. That's how the rivalry is. elampiro: Why is it hard to accept the truth that Lukaku was a complete shyte in that match? Old man Ibrahimovic made more impact in the limited time he played.
The clear cut chance Lukaku missed came about from Ibrahimovic's ability to retain the ball under tight marking in inside City's box. Ibrahimovic controlled the cross, retain the ball while ensuring body balance, and then played back to Mata who lobbed it over the wall to Martial.
If it were Lukaku in same position as Ibrahimovic, he would have made Mata to look like mumu there. Lukaku would never have thought of controlling and passing back to Mata.
Chances don't come when some members kill clever build up play, or running with the ball into the bush during counter. O Lawd!!! My belle...

Forget about whichever clubs they belong, the truth is they are both average strikers with certain perceived individual 'quality'. its hard for me to say this but do you think city expects any team to have a bad day so that they (city) can win. They come into the game and make you have a bad game by pressing and doing everything to make their opponents have a bad game and not hoping on hope. Good talk... |
