Nah, the real fans said we're winning matches by 4-nil so the tactics and gameplay (master class) isn't bad. Ok

Then they said we're on same points with City, just goal difference. Ok

Then they said December ain't here yet so no need to whyne about City's prowess. Ok

Then they said we were just 2 points below after the Liverpool match, that Anfield is a tough ground bla bla bla (when it was DDG that saved our asses that day). Ok.

Excuses upon excuses while the team went from 2 to 5 to 8 to 11 to 13 to 15 points below City. Maybe if City had spent less, we would have beaten Southampton.

At 15 points below, they said after all we're still 2nd. 6th to 2nd is a massive improvement and we shouldn't bother about the league since City's strolling to it (compare with what was said earlier in the season o).

Then it changed to "Must we win the league this season?"(Assnal mentality stepping in gradually)

Well, by tomorrow it'll probably be 17 points below, this time in 3rd position. Trying to play catchup with Chelsea.

Now the excuse has been updated to 300m is not enough (what happened to the master class?)

Well, winners keep winning. Losers keep giving excuses #Ugly Truth.

NB: Everyone wants the best for the team but always try and accept facts instead of going through unnecessary hell to defend b.s, esp those who specialize in name-calling once another's view doesn't suit yours.... Deluded, Einsteins, fake fans etc.

Pogba has been back for the past how many weeks, did you gain maximum points
I said it some days ago when some complained that it was Pogba's absence that made them lost against City, and that every match they've lost this season, Pogba was absent in all. Now he is back and they are getting draws. Who do we blame for that then?

Nothing like agidi. We drew that Stoke match coz of Mourinho's tactics.

We're playing 4-2-3-1 and winning 4-0s. Then came the Stoke match. In the days leading to that match, they were many articles detailing our struggles at their stadium. Saying Stoke are our boogie team. Mourinho out of fear decided to change a working system and switch to 4-3-3 to CONTAIN a team whose best player can't get into our starting line-up.

You need to watch that match again. We're playing cautious against common Stoke FFS. This Stoke that City and Chelshit will attack with fervour, and give them no breathing space on the ball. Forget that they were lacking defenders against Chelshit, Mourinho was lilly livered to believe he can go to Stoke and whoop them badly.

He lacks faith in his players so much that it makes my blood boil. Pep won't give a care about Stoke, he'd use any team of his and attack Stoke non-stop whether he wins or not.
I said it on here some days ago that Mourinho is a coward. I also stated it categorically clear that if he doesn't get his act together he will lose that second place spot they've be hugging since and its happened already. For me, present-day Mourinho is not worthy of United.

You are now sounding like a hater. How will people take your analysis serious again? You see everything as Guardiola vs Mourinho

Mourinho has his brand of football, he can buy players to fit in. Bailly, Valencia are typical Mourinho type of players. We might add Jones and Matic. We have to observe Luke Shaw too.
But why is it that Mourinho doesn't give any presser these days without referring to Pep and City? The obsession is just out of this world. Ahh!

Dash Juventus miki and 70m, we need quality players not passengers that lacks fight and bottle. We need to rival any club for the signature of Sanchez and Ozil sharp sharp. Mata I think should stay, he has some quality. Also we need to trigger the release clause of Samuel umtiti, and sell smalling, if he can't bench a passenger like Cahill in the NT, he has no business in Man Utd, Rojo or Jones one will need to go. I prefer Jones though. Blind and Damian are useless, Blind should go to Groningen while Damian can go Chievo Verona.
You dey find trouble abi? Of all players why Umtiti? No cause riot for here ooooo.

Let's take a look at barca current squad. We need a defender (considering umtiti injury) and a left winger (after Neymar slied us).

Yerry mina is a must sign for me to fill umtiti position for the main time, and if he performs well, he can bench pique.

For the left wing position, likely players that can fill that position are countinho or griezmann. But now, atletico has said they won't be selling him in January (who knows, maybe barca can vex and pay his clause wink )
So countinho is our only option left, of which he is on form this season. Getting him would be a plus one for us.

Considering Arthur, he's a good player. His balance and handling of ball extremely good. He's a good replacement for Iniesta, but we don't need him now.

Ozil, hmmm.. He can do something in our midfield though, but I don't see him a regular starter unless he can prove himself.

For me, countinho and y.mina.. The formation should now change to 4-2-3-1 with countinho and demebele as the wingers, that's if demebele performs well though

I asked because I have tried as much as i could to fathom why we need such players in our team and I couldn't get anything out of it. I understand Ozil's case especially since he will be relatively cheap considering his contract will expire at season's end, but his high wages will be another factor to consider, and also if he'd rather be a squad player.

To be fair Mou wasn’t always like that early in his career.
The defensive approach all started when his success got into his head, he became arrogant, boastful, insulting other managers and acquired a blabber mouth. Having done all these it was very important to him to never lose to his rivals, reason he would always prefer a draw to risking losing to a rival. It’s an ego thing and it subconsciously became a part of his tactics.
I think you are right. Little wonder they say pride goes before a fall.

Whose fault that we invested in average players? The coaches ask for players and the club set about purchasing them...Mourinho in his time here has gotten just about all the players he asked for bar Perisic according to available information so what exactly is the fuss about lack of investment? He got Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Bailly, Lukaku, Lindelof, Matic, Ibra (On a free but very high wages)...Pray tell, how many coaches are opportuned to get all of such quality in barely 3 windows? That's more than 300m worth of talent and you want us to sit back and go with his narrative that it's because we're not spending enough? Or just so we're not tagged naive or Mou haters? Hell no, we have spent hugely and that's not taking into context the huge outlay on transfer during the Van Gaal and Moyes Era...
And to correct an impression, I think all top coaches spend heavily thus I'm not one of those who refer to Mou as a cheque book manager but in this instances after spending over 300m on players, your least excuse should be investment related...
The only thing City has over us is a better bench (And you can quite comfortably argue for or against this) and a coach who is more expressive in his approach.
I dey feel you bruv...

What is it I'm reading here, what exactly is lack of investment after spending so much over the past couple of seasons or do you not know that investment should go hand in hand with on and off the pitch improvement? Granted we're doing very well off the pitch but on the pitch, the quality of our football is poor and we've not posed the trophies that should match our huge outlays on transfers...Must it be PSG-level investment for us to accept we have been spending heavily on transfers?
One begins to wonder what would have been the case if we had Mou in the dugout in those years where the Glazers were tight fisted, I am talking about the years when fans got disillusioned and started a protest...Fergie managed to keep us winning and challenging for titles with little investment but look what we have now, a coach still complaining after spending so much on players... This investment line is just about the most ridiculous excuse for our underperformance yet...
Well said.

Nothing has change from how we play.
We lost a few guys to injuries and suspension but we've not changed.
Jose will always play a more conservative style when we approach teams he thinks can play us out of the park that will never change.

I disagree. The way you approach games these days ain't the same with how you did earlier on in the season when you were scoring for fun.

Well,Wishful to say the least cos no way we are getting Isco..But The thing is the fact that it was because Kovacic had to man mark Messi is kinda funny to me..Its like saying in our game against Chelsea next February, We bench Messi and start Arda Turan so he could keep an eye on Hazard..Whereas we all know Messi is our best player..If Isco is that good I think Zizou would start him in order to ENFORCE The play He wants on Barca.. Whereas He knows Casimero could do the job,Yet he benched Isco..I think its more than just the man-marking issue..If I get you correctly too You r saying Isco has the edge over Phil cos he could dribble out of tight spaces, Well Phil's technique and Link up play can bail him out too..And its not as though Phil isn't a dribbler too,He just doesn't dribble as much as Isco..Also Phil can play as an AMF,Winger,Support striker,CMF and as a Natural 10..These alone makes him fit better than Isco..And as for Xavi's replacement I've always said only a LA masia grad can replace a LA masia Grad..Which is Thiago would have fit in perfectly but What else can we say..
If you don't know this yet, then there is no point arguing further. It's rather an open secret Kovacic was deployed just because of Messi. If you doubt me, ask usbcable and his goons. You don't read Marca I guess, if you do, even before the match you'd know Kovacic would get the nod because of Zidane's obsession with stopping or neutralising Messi.

That's all I have to say about this. I rest my case.

If we struggle against such lowly oppositions, imagine what we'll do when we encounter other teams in our stratosphere. Madrid, Bayern et al.

There's nothing City has that's too extraordinary. You point out just one person, and I'll point out a like for like replacement..

Besides, I stopped being concerned after the Chelsea debacle. Mourinho only remembered to attack when Morata scored. #Coward.
