1. I wish theo coaching crew and the sporting director will get a young and capable goalkeeper come January. Valdez made the goal by Villa a top notch, which is me not taking anything away frm how awesome the goal looked. Wish we can go for Courtois. He was a JOY to behold.

2. Iniesta was sloppy all night. His grip on the ball was 3rd rated.

3. Xavi is off his prime. At his age, there Is little he can bring to the game. Now is the time for Cesc to assume his role. Hes not been a dissappointment though.

4. The double pivot of Buaquets and Song that was deployed towards the end is a good formation fhat can be used to hold off strong counter attacking teams like we saw of Atleti tonight.

Exactly! Teams with such attacking prowess should be played using the double pivot. While Cesc or Xavi and Iniesta will assume the attacking midfield roles.

He also needs to incorporate Neymar asap cause that dude can create space needed to explore any team's defence.

Who says Barca doesn't need a CB should think again... I hope the coach was able to see the nonsense his so-called Pique played. Gosh! Any one could play the CB role better than Pique. iniesta was never in the game with too many wrong passes. Alba was also guilty of making wrong passes too. Pedro was just a shadow of himself. All the time in was on the pitch, he didn't make any impact. As for Messi, I hope it's a minor one. More power to Mascherano's elbows. That guy gives me much joy even though he is not a traditional CB. And for the newest lad, Neymar, he is wonderful. His presence alongside that of Fabregas changed alot.

I hope the coach re-evaluates this team. We definitely need an experienced midfielder too. And a CB is a must if we must lift even a plastic spoon this season.

Please, there is a difference between judging or condemning someone and counselling or exposing someone to the real nitty-gritty. And like I will always say, in whatever one does, there is always need to know how God will see it. Often times people just act and do whatever they like all in the name of freedom, forgetting that even though God made us to be free, we are not entirely free because at the end of the day every action of ours will be accounted for. If at the end everyone will account for how he or she acts towards life and all, do you then think we are really free? I guess not...

I think it's time to halt dropping on this thread before I will be mis-quoted. I am not better than anyone, only God knows. I am just an advocate for good moral standards. ^^^^ Well, I read the article and to me, I would want him to come over to Barca if it were possible. Let's see if what happened with Luis Figo will repeat itself in Casillas' case. He is far better than Valdes and I wouldn't mind having someone like him cause the way I see it, even if Ter Stegen comes to Barca, they have made plans to bring in Reina to be there for a season or two to allow Ter Stegen to mature more.

I would prefer getting Casillas anyday if it were possible. At least he is far better than the ones we have now....
