Yeah... I know you felt disappointed seeing I could say such. It's not always so... Just that some girls can really turn the good guys into a monster. I don't do much reading these days on newspapers because I am quite busy with personal issues, mostly brainstorming , but when I did, I have read horrible tales and aftermath of what happened to some girls. It's things like this could result to such.I am not like that sha... Just that I am so pissed off seeing what girls take the good guys for. Is it crime to care for girl without one hidding his true feelings? Why is it that when some over show love and care he is NEVER taken serious. Why? But treated like a fool?
Why ask questions to which you already know the answers ![]() |
you really talk like someone who has a lot of xperienced in marriage.u don marry b4?
Yes! In the life before this one. Lolzz. Just kidding ![]() |
Indecisiveness na. Do you expect anything else?
Not like I expect anything else but the way and manner she comes up to change one thing or the other incessantly is what is startling to me... |
OP, here are my rules Never start a relationship by spending on a girl, even if she was dying... Only spend what you can afford to lose... Let there be a limit. Your most import focus should be you, you you and you, then you can you immediate siblings to the list. That's all. I remember growing up in the street of Lagos. A man called Ndubisi got a girl from the village ,brought her to Lagos and sponsored her eductaion up to Uni... Of course that is more than 2 million the OP spent. What happened, the girl one day told the man that she cant marry him. She even brought her boyfriend to thank him and introduced him as the guy she wants to marry... This should be a lesson for guys out there. Love ko, Sorrow ni! To hell with love... Fvck and change them like cloths. Damn it!
Never start a relationship by spending on a girl, even if she was dying... Only spend what you can afford to lose... Let there be a limit.
hmm....based on wat i have observed and heard about marriage in dis 21st century...i cant really say exactly wat am scared abt nd dats y i said*unknown* e.g,wat if the person i marry turns out to b somebody he is not..anyws,i biliv i should b positive.just sayin sha..its dat bad dat sometyms,i admire independent single mothers who work and tk kia of deir kids.d only ish is dt,most of dem r not respected nd r seen to flirt around
Well.... I understand your fears but the truth of the matter is that, there is need for you to be cautious about whom you end up with and also marry for the right reasons. Marriages of this contemporary world are seldom done for the right reasons and thereby brings about all kinda problems. Imagine a house built upon sand due to ignorance, what would u expect of the house in the long run? Thats how alot of marriages are, they have bad foundations and were not built upon the right knowledge for such union to blossom. Well, just be very careful and be positive about getting a man that would be a real hubby to you for life. |
my bbc month isn't connecting on android.... since this morning. anyone here experiencing same? i hope it hasn't been blocked oh!
Still blazing... |
He is twisted. Na im fault?
Na wa ooo. Everybody just wan create thread sha |
as for me,i think marriage is NOT compulsory.even the bible has said its better to be single but if u cn't bear it,marry, which is a good tin..some people get married for diffrnt reasons..some want to build up a generation*family*,some are insecured, some dont want to live a lonely life, some is due to societal, friends and family pressure etc.....i wud love to someday luv have a family of my own,but derez just dis fear of the unknown.
Fear of the unknown? What do you imply? |
Smh for the op.. |
mekaboy: For all those who want to crucify me. I mean looking at it from religious view. If you have to go by religious or christian standards, if your are not married and your having sex you are fornicating and that is a sin.Why not? Do you think everyone are as crazy for sex as most people do? C'mon! Dont be ridiculous.... |
koyes: This would be the 3rd time I'm applying for this bank's advert.they just keep ignoring me even when I meet all their requirement.I hope this time, things will be different.Don't ever give up... Keep pushing until you get what you are looking for... Hope they call you this time. |
Sunnycliff: Yes, most of you may be correct as there was no pact signed, but from his own viewpoint though I had encouraged him to let sleeping dogs lie, yet he had to tell me, that this is not the first time of him being jilted in relationships, that he choose this option to use the money for a brighter business need, he just discovered, since the girl must go. At times, most of us do have similar experiences and we still have the right to act according to our premonition. If you are having a premonition about something, why not thread carefully before acting so as not to be on the other side of the road. And for him to have been jilted in past relationships and yet he fell hook, line and sinker for this one, it really means he has a very big problem. |
Thank God you stated it yourself that this is a gross generalisation. I am sorry to say but you have a problem. No offence please. You stated categorically that you have met many great Nigerian guys, but the two you decided to hook up with even at different times, have nothing to write home about right? What happens to the many great Nigerian guys you met? If you did meet great guys an you failed to hook up with them or something, rather u chose the not-so-great ones, it means the problem is with you. Anywayz, I am not here to judge your line of action or not. In reality, that assertion of yours is very wrong. Nigerian guys are always open to inter-racial/inter-national dating if you must know. The fact that the few you have met have not lived up to your expectation is not to make such hasty conclusion about Nigerian men. Okay? Maybe there is just something you aint doing right. Check on yourself very well, the problem might be with you. |
Ages... I cant actually remember when last I did that... |
What's woo?
It means to slap. So the op meant; when last did u slap a girl. Capiché? |
Is marriage not optional? Who made it compulsory dude, get real
Sometimes I wonder where some people's thoughts emanates from. Please regale me.. Was marriage ever made compulsory? And if yes, by whom? Smh for the op. i guess u just wanted to open a topic irrespective of what it takes. Na wa u oooo |
Nice one... I hope more people will see the light in this and acknowledge it... Free yourself... Like a bird... |
Selfishly? No! Foolishly? Yes! Your friend na complete mugu, correct tozo and a full grown he-goat. I am very sorry to use the aforementioned to classify him but, his line of action doesn't make sense. Now, the question is; did they sign a pact that she would reimburse him should she fail to marry him? During the giving process, were receipts issued to prove it? Was he on duress in each of the times he gave out money to her? And was he ever held at gun-point in those times? If one or more of these questions is(are) yes, then I would say he has the right to ask for reimbursement. But, if not, then tell him to not show how foolish he is by blowing this outta proportion cause I guess this was borne outta a mutual act of magnanimosity between the both of them. Anywayz, leave all those english wey i dey yan. Just tell your guy to lock up abeg. Saying the girl should payback makes him foolish. Abeg advice am... |
Dempsy: ......lagos state i besiege u to get ready for islamic attack.....pls Fashola take this matter slowly for d sake of lagosians....i know wot muslims can do.....Are you implying that Muslims are troublesome fellows? Cause from what I know Islam means "Peace" |
honey86: Another thing that should be banned is those megaphones used in mosque. Its so loud and so disturbing. Churches don't make as much noise as they do. It is ok in saudi but not in Naija. As in ehn, that one dey pain me die... They have a dedicated horn-speaker facing my house just some 20m gap and its really disturbing. Jeez! |
