honeric01: He said he was treated in Spain before moving to NY, my question was and still is "is there no specialist hospital in Spain for ailment like his own"?
There might be or there might be not. The thing is, maybe the calibre of cancer specialty hospitals there cannot be reckoned with to the extent of risking his life after he already went through series of treatments of the same ailment... Thats it!

Abrantie GH: One last comment. Because Surface Pro is Windows, connectivity to other Windows devices and networking is a breeze. All major manufacturers device drivers are built into the OS.

I can easily connect my Surface Pro tablet directly to a computer network, printer or scanner. Can you do that with an iPad or Android device with going through hell fire?
Guy sure now... Connecting to a computer is as clean as a whistle. You can connect any iDevice over Ad hoc (peer-to-peer)connection. I know Android devices cant be connected to Ad Hoc network. Also, you can print and do stuffs with your iDevice wirelessly even.

Anywayz, like I said before, lets kill this.

Abrantie GH: My friend, this is not an Apple vs MS argument. It's about suggesting the best tablet to use on a business trip. If OP's trip only requires him to check e-mail or surf, then by all means iPad or Android would do.

Seriously though, lets be realistic... out of those 300,000 iPhone apps, how many do you use? Secondly, how many can one be productive with?

Most of those so-called "apps" are really not anything but screensavers, fart apps and noise makers.
Well... At this juncture I would kill it off so it shouldn't be as if we wanna talk outta the main objective of the thread...

Like you rightly said, it really depends on what he hopes to achieve with it.

Family › Re: If Your Spouse Cheated, How Would You Feel? by dmcdad: 1:10pm On Feb 25, 2013
RollingFella: If my spouse should cheat on me, i will definitely forgive her and will NEVER divorce her because i believe strongly in the sanctity of marriage. Also, as human beings, we are not perfect and could stray. Before getting married, i should have already made up my mind to accept whatever comes my way in marriage, believing that God will always see me through. But one thing for sure is that, the love and trust for my spouse will go down and i will see her like any other woman. However, i believe in God's miracle that the spouse can change for the better. From the christian theological perspective, Jesus Christ never condemned anybody while on earth irrespective of the transgressions of mankind.
Exactly the kinda point I tried to prove in my first post. I just don't believe in divorce and the likes but then like you rightly stated, the level of love and trust would definitely deteriorate. If, as time presses on I am convinced hook, line and sinker that she is changed and it got proven beyond any shadow of doubt, I think it would come back with time and even exceed the level it was before. But, at the end of everything, my prayer is for me never to encounter such in my marriage as it would make things crumble for a substantial amount of time..

Computers › Re: Best Tablet To Use With Nigerian Telecoms (MTN, Glo)? by dmcdad: 12:58pm On Feb 25, 2013
Abrantie GH: I don't understand. Microsoft also has an online marketplace with about 120,000 apps and groqwing. You can download apps on to your Win 8 tablet the same way as with Android or IPad.

In addition to that, you can also install any existing Windows apps.
I know what you are saying. Microsoft's AppStore is growing for sure buh for now you wont compare it with Apple's nearly 300,00 apps that were built specifically for the iPad, not to talk of the fact that you can still run all iPhones apps on the iPad. Apps on Apple's AppStore is almost clocking a million.

Guy! I love the surface very well. If good enough apps were optimized at this juncture, I would choose it over the iPad even though I am an Apple fan.

ITbomb: Just give her ?
15k for one unsure punny ?
Nah
Punny? And if it were to be sure he would get it, does that mean he should give her? Nah! I don't know why people think there should be a form of trading by barter in terms of having sex in a relationship... That idea is gross and preposterous. Sex is done out of mutual agreement between both parties to satisfy their sexual desires. It shouldn't be taken as a form or a means of paying a guy after spending on a girl..

Anywayz, if you see the need to help her out and you believe she needs it for something that is worth-while, then you can go ahead and help someone in need (this would be based on the importance of what the money is needed for and you need to verify the authenticity of that thing).. But, if you see it as one of those gimmicks girls put up just to extort money from a guy, then say a blatant NO!

cyrexx: I don't think so. The new win8 apps a.k.a metro apps (apps optimized for touchscreen) are the only apps that will run flawlessly on win 8 tablets. To run earlier win7 softwares (I won't call them apps) you will need a bulkier Intel processor - powered win8 tablet. And those win7 softwares are not optimized for touchscreen.
I am with you on this... You are right.
Computers › Re: Best Tablet To Use With Nigerian Telecoms (MTN, Glo)? by dmcdad: 12:34pm On Feb 25, 2013
Abrantie GH: Let me explain it this way - Apple's iOS and Android are phone OSes (with minimal functionality) which were optimized to work on tablets.

Windows 8 was designed from the ground up as a full desktop/laptop OS to work on tablets. You will not lose any of the functionailty you currently enjoy on your Windows machine.
I know what you are saying fully well. I love Windows 8, both using it on PC and the mobile version (tablets and mobile phones). Just saying there are much expected apps which he would hope to enjoy on a regular tablet that are not having desktop versions.. Do you get what i mean?
Computers › Re: Best Tablet To Use With Nigerian Telecoms (MTN, Glo)? by dmcdad: 12:12pm On Feb 25, 2013
Abrantie GH: OP, read this carefully. There are two versions of Windows 8 on tablets. What you want is MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO tablet. It runs the souped up version of Windows 8 which blows all other tablets (Android or Apple) out of the water.

Thank me later.
You are right... But one thing is certain, you will get for you to get certain apps. Windows mobile is great and lovely but the thing is, there aint much apps available for devices running Windows mobile OS compared to Apple's.

Well, talking about apps, Apple is the undisputed champion as almost every developer wants to develop something that is iOS compatible before thinking of other platforms like Android. Android do have a good number of apps at its disposal too.

If etisalat's service is strong where you are located, I'd advice you give it a go cause their speed os something to be reckoned with. As regards a tablet, there are many good tablets out there but I'd personally recommend an iPad. Aside functionalities and stuffs, there are almost any application you would need at Apple's app store.

Anywayz, the choice is yours for the making.

What are your thoughts on this?
Personally I don't cut-out for that. I don't like it one bit. She aint my slave or something, why then would she be subjected to washing my things and the likes?

If a girl feels like, then she can but not with someone like me cause I wont take that as I don't like it....
