We need to ditch the presidential system of government and return to parliamentary system.

In a federal system, the states come together to form a country and therefore the states are the federating units. Technically, in the case of Nigeria, the federating units are the indigenous nationalities, if the formation of Nigeria was properly done.

Local government autonomy meants there are three federating bodies which defies logic of true federalism.

I'd prefer state autonomy before 2027! I do not want regional govts because it will be too complicated to achieve just now but the current states structure should be given full autonomy.

It does take a lot of time to achieve if we agree

We do not really need to practice the presidential system of government, inherently wasteful.

I do not like sharing from the center rather there should be state autonomy including having their own constitution, police, electoral commission and 100% resource control. 15% to run the federal govt and 15% to the Federation account thats shared to all states to support poor states.

I do not support local govt autonomy because it defies federalism.

And yes, I'll support the corruption that devolves more power to the people and allow them to take responsibility for their own needs. Why should anyone be waiting for the FG to fix a trunk C road?
