PoliticsRe: Zoning Not On The Table For Now, So Make Up Your Mind - ADC to Peter Obi by DMerciful(m): 3:21pm On Dec 07, 2025
You're not very bright. You're looking but not seeing
AMINDA:
No. The key takeaway is clear. Obi should make up his mind. He can't continue to parade himself as a member of the coalition while undermining it. No one insists that he must be a part of the coalition. Obi has already lost some ground in the SS, SW and the NC and he has lost those grounds to Tinubu. There may even be voter apathy in the SE if he insists and runs solo. On the other hand, if Tinubu has lost any ground in the North, he has lost it to Atiku. The ADC will conduct a primary. That is non-negotiable and it's ticket will not be zoned. Obi should do what's in his best interest. I personally want him to run solo. It will create the perfect scenario for the election to go into a run-off because Tinubu will not get the highest votes on the first ballot.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar Visits Goodluck Jonathan (Photos) by DMerciful(m): 3:13pm On Dec 07, 2025
Coming after GEJ was his best chance but he wasn't patient
AMINDA:
Would you have rather he snatched it, grabbed it and ran away with it? To contest an election and lose honourably is not a shame. It's just an exercise of democracy. Atiku has paid his debts and he keeps no grudges.
PoliticsRe: Coup: Nigerian Air Force Deployed Fighter Jets To Benin by DMerciful(m): 3:10pm On Dec 07, 2025
Is Benin Republic not a sovereign country?
You see why telling America that Nigeria is a sovereign country is hypocrisy?
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Should Take A Stand Now by DMerciful(m): 8:32pm On Dec 06, 2025
ADC should zone the presidential ticket even if they wanna zone it to the North, we don't mind but they must do zoning first
Validated:
If Peter Obi wants to run as a candidate on his own in 2027, I will personally campaign against him and any party he joins. Peter Obi's hesitation in committing to ADC now is no longer acceptable. In fact, ADC should give everyone interested in 2027 up to February 28, 2026 deadline to either register with the party of forget 2027. That leaves every candidate a minimum of at lrast 12 months before 2027 elections.

We need a cohesive opposition coalition in ADC in 2027. Whether Obi likes or not, LP is not going to pull half of the 2023 results. With PDP in quagmire and LP in the hands of presidency, only ADC is the credible opposition.
PoliticsRe: Any Leader Who Refuses To Join ADC Is Working For Tinubu - Henry Shield by DMerciful(m): 8:19am On Dec 06, 2025
Peter Obi as the concensus presidential candidate of the coalition is non-negotiable
PoliticsRe: Obi: ADC Coalition Shaky Over Unresolved Zoning Arrangement by DMerciful(m): 4:35pm On Dec 05, 2025
Amaechi is untested, nobody will do a trial in 2027.

Obi will go to PDP instead
duro4chang:
For where? Atiku is the candidate of ADC nobody can change it. Do you think he joined the party because of anyone? Do you think he has your love at heart? He wants to be president by all means. Forget obi here. Obi can only be chosen as a running mate and that will even scatter the party. Amaechi is there waiting too

PoliticsRe: Obi: ADC Coalition Shaky Over Unresolved Zoning Arrangement by DMerciful(m): 1:15pm On Dec 05, 2025
Peter Obi as the concensus presidential candidate of the coalition is non-negotiable
duro4chang:
What Peter obi wants is a situation whereby he will be the only candidate. He knows he has no chance of winning when Atiku is still in the race. He can only be a running mate.

Again, what qualifications and knowledge does he possess about national defence and security?

So many anyhow appointments in this administration. So many!

The source is there, look well
SpencerForbes:
Statisense keeps bombarding us with statistics without ever providing proper backing or sourcing methods.

For example, they can claim to give us statistics of the quantity of 'water' in Nigeria across all geopolitical zones without bothering to specify whether they are referring to rainwater, borehole water, treated table water, or streams.

Sokoto Badagry, Lagos Calabar coastal road...these two roads have a budget of over 22 trillion to bring Nigerians to Lagos their heritage!
aribisala0:
We are talking about roads
All roads don't lead to Lagos State more than to Abia state

TravelRe: Sokoto-Badagry Highway Has Extended Into Badagry-Ogun Axis by DMerciful(m): 12:08pm On Nov 30, 2025
You're in denial. Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally
aribisala0:
All roads don't lead to Lagos
No road leads to Lagos State from Aba , from Onitsha or Owerri
If you want to argue connectedness you can argue all roads lead to Aba or Nnewi
There is a road connection to all Nigerian states nothing peculiar about Lagos State in that regard

You can drive to Jalingo from all 36 states
PoliticsRe: Why Military Take-over Could Be Worse In Nigeria? by DMerciful(m): 3:22pm On Nov 29, 2025
What is wrong with breakup? Yorubas and we Igbos should not be in the same country else it'll never work
Goodmarlian:
Op coup cannot happen in Nigeria at the moment it will lead to breakup as the countries unity is very fragile at the moment because we cannot afford to the led by another northern military dictator because

PoliticsRe: Why Military Take-over Could Be Worse In Nigeria? by DMerciful(m): 3:17pm On Nov 29, 2025
Don't threaten anybody, if this insecurity continues to spread then military intervention is required to reset the system
Richtaiwo:
During the days of military rule in Nigeria, salary was treated like a favour, not a right. You will see govt owing 10 month salary. And if anyone dared to organise a protest, the military would hunt down the key organisers and arrest them without blinking. When I resumed university as a jambite, one of our lecturers was missing. We later discovered that Abacha’s government was trailing him because of his role in an ASUU strike.

People today need to listen again to Abacha’s takeover speech. Almost every union in the country was banned and crushed. Those who sit online shouting about “dictatorship” would not even have the freedom to talk. The platform would either be shut down or the owners arrested. There would be no boldness to complain because there would be no space to speak.

Soldiers were everywhere, intimidating and harassing civilians. Forget the Constitution, they did not care about that document. They came with decrees and forced the whole country to obey. Public opinion meant nothing. Rights and freedoms meant nothing. They forced their will on everyone and you would not be able to challenge anything.

God forbid a return of military rule to Nigeria, even for a single month.
PoliticsRe: Why Military Take-over Could Be Worse In Nigeria? by DMerciful(m):
If this terrorism continues to spread, two things are likely to happen: military takeover or breakup of the country.

You don't expect people to hold unto democracy if their lives is at great risk
ElSudani:
There's no type of coup or military dictatorship we haven't seen in Nigeria. We are done with that.
PoliticsRe: Why Military Take-over Could Be Worse In Nigeria? by DMerciful(m): 3:13pm On Nov 29, 2025
If the military takes over, terrorism will end within one month max!

Military do not share power with anybody talkless of terrorists
badoh:
I'm watching keenly how insecurity is threatening the unity and existence of Nigeria and how the government of the day has not shown any willingness to tame it. Unfortunately I see some people by their comments online calling for military take-over and I ask what difference will it make if the military take over Nigeria? This same military are well funded by the govt and given required support but why are they not winning the war? We have been witnessing insurgency since the time of Goodluck Jonathan and it keeps getting worse. If truly the military institutions are potent, why haven't the military in mali, niger and burkina-faso restore peace in their respective countries? The military governments in these countries are worse-off than the government they toppled. How are we sure military government will make any meaningful thing in Nigeria especially since their past actions have shown the kind of people they are? Unfortunately, the current government appear lukewarm and not ready to fight insurgency. Like someone asked, did Tinubu signed a pact with the northerners not to attack the bandits so as not to loose their support in 2027? How can a govt appear weak and docile and causing global embarrassment to the country? How do you expect peace to reign in your country when bandits are brandishing ammunitions in broad day light even in front of security agents? Where are the attack helicopters? Why are they not put into use or they have embezzled the fund? Is Tinubu benefiting something from this insurgency because his body language seems he's not ready to protect the people. How could people be travelling and they get kidnapped on the way? You need to show that you don't take nonsense and come out with full-force to engage these monsters even if it will cost you your second term? And for those calling for military take over, you have a point but are you ready for the excesses of these guys? Majority of Nigerians are law breakers and those things you're enjoying without being challenged will come back to haunt you. Some of you tap electricity illegally, some of you dump rubbish on the road, some of you spew nonsense on social media, some of you carry and spread fake news in order to attract traffic and get more likes. Just know that most social platforms will be shut down and by then you'll appreciate a democratic dispensation.

Thats the only thing that concerns you, your obsession with Igbos.

Know that if Biafra happens, we in Anioma wont remain in Nigeria as super minority and be marginalized same way Igbanke is marginalized in Edo state when they should have been carved to Delta State
TimeMachine2:
Expect more than 10 countries from current day Nigeria. Biafrau is 5 miserable states and there is nothing any body can do.
