These are not really what is needed to develop Kano but human capacity development.

Kano should focus on education as the highest priority so that insecurity will reduce to the bearest minimum

Politics / Re: Why Are Igbos So Successful At Whatever They Do by DMerciful(m): 7:52am On May 06
You're missing the point.

We are talking group success! The average Igbo man is relatively more successful than any other group. This is a fact!
Franklyspeakin:
same way other tribes hv successful people too. as if there are no unsuccessful Igbos. success is simply a reward for a resilient person no matter the tribe

What makes you think that indigenous Lagosians are not part of those staying at shanties?

Please it is not by force to stay in Lagos and be living in unhygienic condition. Be in your state and try to do something useful to yourself. It's like Lagos is really facing accommodation issues.

Idiocy!

Is premiumtimes a region?
benuejosh:
South South people are so happy because of the coastal road that will be constructed and they have not hidden it, South West people are happy because the road will be constructed. The Northerners are not worried about it and have not said anything. But you see South East, they are very bitter because of that road. Why?

Politics / Re: Don’t Use The Lagos-calabar Coastal Road When Completed – Murray-bruce Jabs Obi by DMerciful(m): 12:58am On May 06

NasirudeenOla:
Don’t use the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road when completed – Ben Murray-Bruce jabs Peter Obi

Ben Murray-Bruce, a former senator, has expressed his support for the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, calling critics "enemies of progress.

He suggested that those opposing the project should stick to the existing routes once the new highway is completed. The ₦13-trillion project, considered Nigeria's largest public infrastructure initiative, aims to connect nine states and is expected to take eight years to complete.

Murray-Bruce's comments come as the project faces opposition from some quarters, with some expressing concerns over its feasibility and potential impact.

Throwing his weight behind the project, Murray-Bruce, founder of the Silverbird Group,  praised President Bola Tinubu for embarking on such a “symbol of a brighter future”.

He noted that Tinubu’s commitment to the project is a “beacon for our nation” adding that the highway is not just a “feat of engineering” but a triumph of the collective potential of all citizens..

Politics / Re: You Are A Serial Liar – Reno Omokri Busts Peter Obi’s Lies In Canada by DMerciful(m): 4:16pm On May 05
Is this really Nigeria's problem?

Majoring in the minorities!
NasirudeenOla:
Reno Omokri has busted Peter Ob‘s false claims during his speech in Canada. According to Omokri, Peter Obi stated that Amazon confirmed there was no glitch on the INEC server, which contradicts the testimony of his own witness in the Presidential Election Petition Court.

The witness, Mpeh Clarita Ogar, admitted that she was not representing Amazon and presented a document with no relevance to the INEC server.

was a Labour Party candidate in the 2023 elections, raising questions about her expertise and impartiality.

Omokri also disputed Peter Obi’s claim that he brought an Amazon expert to court, stating that this was another false statement.

He criticized Peter Obi for his “dishonest and manipulative tendencies” and for attempting to distort facts to sway public opinion. Omokri emphasized that Peter Obi’s claims contradict the official results of the 2023 presidential election, which were endorsed by international observers and the US State Department.”

One guy mocking = Igbo people mocking? What makes you think he is Igbo or has the right to speak for Igbos? You have something in your mind.

Its unconstitutional to deport Nigerians in Nigeria so if you think you can deport Igbos and not expect a large resistance, you lie.

If your people are deported and you decided to be quiet, thats your business
dealslip:
You guys have constantly underestimated the strategy of the Lagos State Govt in achieving some of their plans. Instead of sitting back, you continue to mock them, when they now implement some policies against you, you won't let SM rest.
They have deported some ' Osun' indigene In Lagos, you are busy laughing and mocking Yoruba people. Immediately they start deporting people to Anambra and Ebonyi, no one must raise any noise and start quoting the constitution. Once they start deporting Igbos, you will have no excuse because they deported some 'Yoruba' people first.

Learn Learn and be more discreet about your thinking pattern. It betrays you all the time. People can read you guys easily. The other tribes will keep quiet while you keep mocking everyone, you tend to assume because people keep quiet, they are okay with what you are doing. Then when you expect them to collaborate with you when it comes to politics or other stuffs and they don't, you then start talking about betrayal and victimization whereas the foundation was laid all along by your lack of control over your mouth and emotions.

Take heed. The greatest thing you can do for yourself is to control your mouth and your emotions, they betray you easily.
Politics / Re: 450 Sent Deported , 79 Being Rehabilitated. Nice One Lagos State. by DMerciful(m): 4:00pm On May 05
Whoch state? All the states created in Nigeria were created by illegitimate govts
aderadio1:
This is not about Yoruba or non Yoruba, To be in Lagos you have to be gainfully employed, have a place you own or rent. No need sleeping under the bridge when you have a family house in your state.
Today it's Osun indigenous people tomorrow it maybe your state people as the report says.

Go back to your state if you are not doing anything meaningful in Lagos. Your destiny maybe somewhere else.
Politics / Re: 450 Sent Deported , 79 Being Rehabilitated. Nice One Lagos State. by DMerciful(m): 3:57pm On May 05
Its unconstitutional
aderadio1:
They should be gainfully employed. You are a Nigerian does not mean you should constitute nuisance anyway in Nigeria and dedicate anyway. Today is Osun people tomorrow will be others.
