When you're sick and need to be absent from work, dont you inform your employer? Did Tilumbu inform the Nigerian people why he is absent for 1 week? Or you don't know who employed him? SadiqBabaSani: I don't trivialise health issues or play partisanship with people's lives. If the President is sick and under medical care, I pray to Almighty God to grant him quick recovery.

Crash? All this bateria people trying to gaslight the masses that a price that is 10 times what was obtainable in 2014 is a crashed price. Abeg take this bottle ti cure the BATeria in your system Paraman: Cooking gas dealers have crashed the price of the product further following improved supply and forex availability The dealers said the price of refilling 12.5kg of cooking gas crashed from N14,000 to about N10,000. Findings show that the crash also comes following the relative gain of the naira against the US dollar.
Findings by Legit.ng show that dealers of liquified petroleum gas (LPG), also known as cooking gas, have crashed the commodity's price following supply improvements. According to a market survey conducted by Legit.ng, the dealers have crashed the product's price to N900 per kilogramme from the N1,300 it sold weeks ago. LPG dealers report improvements in supplies The dealers reported improvements in supplies from various depots, saying that the price also crashed due to the relative availability of foreign exchange for import.
A manager at Gasland depot in the Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos, who pleaded anonymity, revealed that the price crash also followed the Nigerian government's removal of value-added tax (VAT) from the product. "We are witnessing supply improvements, and more marketers can access the products. Also, we have noticed an improvement in forex availability for importers to bring in the product." He stated that the deport sold the product at N1,300 per kilogramme two weeks ago but crashed the price to N900. He revealed that 12.5kg sells for about N10,000 from the N14,300 it sold two weeks prior.
Recent data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) disclosed that the price of 12.5kg of LPG increased by 46.88% in one year. The NBS revealed this in its annual LPG price watch report for February. The NBS said the price of refilling 12.5kg of cooking gas increased to N15,060.38, compared to N10,253.39 in the month under review. The report said the average price for refilling a 12.5kg cooking gas cylinder rose by 28.33% in one month, from N11.735.72 in January 2024 to N15,060.38 in February 2024, TheCable reported. The report said: The bureau said that "on a year-on-year basis, this rose by 46.88% from N10,253.39 in February 2023." "On state profile analysis, Ogun recorded the highest average retail price for the refilling of a 12.5kg Cylinder of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) with N16,375.00, followed by Delta with N16,333.33 and Edo with N16,321.43.
Bauchi recorded the lowest average price, N13,167.50, followed by Katsina and Yobe, with N13,562.50 and N13,610.00, respectively." Cooking gas demand declines Legit.ng also reported that the demand for cooking gas recorded a decline amid increasing living expenses. This development comes as numerous efforts by the federal government to enhance supply and encourage domestic usage failed. The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics recently released data indicating a rise in the inflation rate from 28.92% in December 2023 to 29.90% in January 2024. Has Nigerians protested under Tinubu subsidy removal and return? No. Because they ganged up against GEJ based on his minority origin. Petrol subsidy removal was an excuse. Tinubu is a failure DeLaRue: Interesting.
One thing about this President is that he is BOLD
He goes where no previous leader dared to go.
1. Fuel Subsidy - removed. GEJ folded at the first sign of protest at Ojota.
2. FCT minister - gave it a Southerner
3. Student loan scheme - in the works
4. Coastal road - ongoing
And so on..
But this horrible 0.5 or 0.005% tax on bank transfer his government wants to introduce is too much. We are hearing too of Telecom tax. There's the dreaded Band A electricity palaver on ground.

The advantages you thing you have are minor that anybody can get for themselves. They're not rights because even bursary is not given to all Lagos indigenes. When you join a country, everybody gets equal rights. States are creation by the military. SonofLagos: I know you are not intelligent. You said a visitor has the same right in Lagos and I told you where your right stops and outline some of the things that distinguish a visitor from an indigenous person, but here you are telling me how much an ibo man make. Who cares if he make all the money? So it only an ibo man that makes money in Lagos? I know the truth is bitter for you to handle but that’s what it is😂 you are still seen has a visitor no matter how long you feel you have stayed in Lagos. My documents carry Lagos has my state of origin and I still have some privileges you won’t have and if I decide to become governor tomorrow and you decide contest with me has an Okoro, I still stand a better chance than you. Let that stick in your brain |

You know you will not be governor so lets rule that out. How much is bursary? Do you know how much the Igbo man makes in Lagos per day? Probably 100 times your bursary. You truly have no special advantages SonofLagos: I thought you said we have the same right and I just listed some the right I have as an indigene, you don’t have or comprehension seem to be your problem? My chances of been a governor if I want to is far greater than an Okoro will ever have😂 even Chinedu attempted it last year and see how bad it was for him. So if you still think we have the same right, then I can’t help you. |
Family / Re: Her Father Is Occult. Should He Still Go Ahead? by DMerciful(m): 3:26pm On May 07 |
If she loves and respect him...yes, he should marry her! kingthreat: Okay here is the story.
One of my best friends who is expected to get married this year just called me for hours with regards to his plans.
He met this babe 2 years ago and things were going fine. I even know the girl as a nice lady and very homely. I don chop her food, she cooks well. Both of them attend RCCG church. My friend is a casual member while his fiance is a serious member and doesn't miss weekly services.
So my friend to take his relationship more seriously decided to visit his fiancé's family so they know him. Before then, the fiancé had told him that her father is a former Baptist but has stopped being religious and sometimes does traditional practices. On the day of him visiting her home, he was welcomed even bought gifts for the dad and mum. But he said his spirit was very uncomfortable in that house.
There was an standing portrait of the father on white with beads and regalia to show he is Ogboni. Also in the house, there were a few funny looking art works which looks occult. My friend played cool, the father even asked of his church and he told him. The father proudly said he is a traditional man. After the meeting, the next day he asked his girlfriend if her father is an ROF member and she said yes that she told him before that he is a traditional man.
But my friend is showing signs of doubts. He told me he loves the girl, but that he wants nothing to do with anything occultic in this life till he dies. His family may not agree but even if he insist to have his way because of love, he wants to be sure it will not end in regret.
I told him what really matters is the heart of the person he is marrying. My guy said yes but family background matters. Foundation matters, which is true.
House, what do you think? |
