Ronu people, can't you see that Tinubu is an abysmal failure? Pray he is not chased away before 2027
LegendHero:
Maybe Bashir haven’t check the electoral map for 2023 election. The goal of BAT is not necessarily to win all the states in the North, but to have the highest vote out or close the margin so much in the NW + NE that Atiku will not have any chance to recover the loss.

Below is 2023 election. BAT cleared the NC votes and won the NW by vote margin even tho he lost most of the NW states.

2027, more interest will prop up in the North as they prepare for 2031. That will be their bargain with Asiwaju.

Just as Atiku is hustling, Northern governors are hustling too. So they rather wait till 2031 and be president than fielding Atiku from PDP who will make sure they don’t become president ever in their lifetime coz after Atiku, na southerner.

That is the more reason properties should be insured. Besides, these are necessary sacrifice for Nigeria to be great. Anything to boot out APC
Richtaiwo:

It's obvious you own nothing and can never know how it feels to lose one's hard earned property to miscreants. Please go and be quoting your ilk busy explaining how criminals should be given a pat in the back for dispossesing people of their hard earned assets.

So they should be shot on the spot with live bullets? Are people not protesting and looting in the UK, have they been killed?
Richtaiwo:

On the above, Atiku is absolutely right and I agree with him 100%.

However, there is a wide difference between protest and robbery. What we currently have in the name of protest is actually robbery and security agencies can't fold arms watching miscreants breaking into people's shops and carting away properties while disguising as protesters. It was reported that these so called protesters broke into a bank yesterday in kaduna. Please what has protest against govt got to do with breaking into commercial banks?

Criminals in action should be shot. You don't take a businessman down to penury because you are not happy with the govt. Who told you the businessman is happy with the same govt?

Politics / Re: Buhari Destroyed Nigeria. by DMerciful(m): 1:15pm On Aug 06
Even till today, some southwesterners still insult southeasterners for not supporting Buhari.

SW joined the North to destroy Nigeria for good
Antitankweapon:
As Nigerians protest the terrible state of the country, we must not forget the person who led us to this point. Because if we do, we run the risk of repeating the same mistake.

Former president Buhari is the architect of the problems we are facing today. And this is widely known. Buhari, as president, set out to completely destroy Nigeria. Why? Because he is not a real Nigerian. And he doesn't care about Nigeria. This is one fact every indigenous Nigerian must know.

All Fulanis are not Nigerians. They are not from here. They are from the Sahel. Their real home is in the Sahel. They are visitors in Nigeria, and should NOT enjoy same rights and privileges as indigenous Nigerans.

All through his 8yrs, Buhari put Fulani interest above Nigeria's interest. Yes, Buhari put Fulani interest first, even if Nigeria crumbles. He doesn't care.

Nigerians must realize that the Fulanis are not Nigerians. Buhari, El-Rufai, Kwankwaso, Sultan, Emirs, Sheikh Gumi, etc., are not indigenous Nigerians. They are not. They are children of migrants from the Sahel, and when you make them leaders of Nigeria, you entrust Nigeria to foreigners.

When you entrust Nigeria to foreigners, the result is what Buhari did for 8yrs- completely destroyed the fundamental fabric of Nigerian society, politically, economically, aided division by ethnicity, ruined national institutions like the Judiciary, religion, etc. Completely damaged everything and took us 70yrs back.

Nigeria suffered immensely because Fulani lead the North, and they put their Fulani interest above Nigeria. Hence, we are here today. Buhari is the untimate Destroyer of Nigeria, and ideally, he shouldn't be allowed to rest easy.

This is something we must never forget. Fulani are NOT Nigerians, and never will be. Every Fulani man is an immigrant. Nigeria is not their real home and giving them leadership is giving foreigners control of Nigeria.

FG have started disbursing the student loan which they pay directly to the university. In addition to that, students are receiving 20k monthly for the upkeep money.

Many student have taken to Twitter to share screenshots of the alert they received and the NELFUND official Twitter page is now bubbling with events.

The fund is not available to all universities yet as it was disbursed to six university with the required approval and those starting their session.

Fake News

First are you now declaring that the SE development bill that the Senate just passed is illegal and unconstitutional?

FG owns no Land
The land belongs to the indigenous people and is held in trust by the State Government

Thirdly why didn't you have to break away from Nigeria before you can claim your Hometown
is it not your indigenous Homeland?

It is not a crime. No court will convict that Kano tailor.

The best DSS can do is hold him for a while to prevent him producing more flags

Is there any section of Nigerian constitution that makes it illegal for flags of other countries to be produced in Nigeria?

Politics / Re: DJ Entertains #EndBadGovernance Protesters In Ojota, Lagos by DMerciful(m): 4:39pm On Aug 05
Stop talking like an ignorant person.

Firstly, there is nothing like SW or SE in the constitution(I'm not from SE)

Secondly, The Nigerian state owns every inch of Nigeria and thats why Nigerians can stay anywhere in Nigeria.

Finally, if you want you indigenous lands to be your exclusive preserve, you'll have to breakaway from Nigeria
Christistruth02:

SW own Lagos
You cannot impose your own Ethnic agenda on SW

You own SE

You choose to lock your Region up every Monday

Nobody is dragging that with you

Lagos and SW has said no to protest in their own Region unless you remain where the Court Order gave you
Respect them too

If you refused to protest Against ipob Massacres in SE then you protesting in Lagos is steeped in suspicious hypocrisy
Politics / Re: Protests: DSS Arrests Tailor Mass-producing Russian Flags by DMerciful(m): 4:22pm On Aug 05
Leave emotions. There is no law that criminalizes sewing of other countries flags. He is not the one waving the flags, he is just a tailor
Guestlander:

Very true, I bet you have your own Israeli flag neatly tucked somewhere in your closet.
All of you are foot soldiers in a struggle you know nothing about.
Politics / Re: Protests: DSS Arrests Tailor Mass-producing Russian Flags by DMerciful(m): 4:14pm On Aug 05
Sewing Russian flags breaks no law. No court will convict him.
FreeStuffsNG:

He will face the full wrath of the law. Shikena.

DSS na your mate? Smh.

Even Russia has dissociated itself from anything about Nigeria's fuel subsidy removal etc.

This is why it's important to understand that this protest was largely organised and funded by unpatriotic elements, anti-state actors and those still embittered at their defeat and defeat of the mediocre candidates they supported during last year's Presidential election won by President Bola Tinubu as the democratic choice of patriotic Nigerians.

All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose. God bless Nigeria for ever!

Nigerians did not mobilize in their numbers. Those demands are negotiable.

People started bringing Igbo narrative to it, that no protest in SE. That killed morale
sleek214:
Obidients and Swore spoilt the protests. Obidients made it political while Sowore demands are unrealistic... If we had agreed on just 2 demands...1.. return of fuel subsidy and 2... Ending insecurity in 6 months so farmers can go to the farm..... It would have turned out well...
