You're flogging a dead horse. No amount of PR will put best performing Otti with worst performing Eleyi Dapo
Front0lane: Dapo Abiodun Just Commissioned Newly Built 6 Lanes 8 KM Hospital Road In Ogijo Sagamu
Attached also is another 27 KM Ilaro Iwoye Owode road commissioned yesterday
No foolish soul is creating before n after thread over a basic n barest minimum expected of a governor.
Note that this Dapo Abiodun is believed to be the worse governor in the SW yet he is performing over 10 times beta than Alex Otti who Ipob n obidient claim he is the best thing after slice bread judging from the quality n standard n KM of work done on the roads.
Also note that Dapo Abiodun is not governing the all rich Lagos but Ohun state which Igbo is poor n only rich in fake IGR
Make foolish people stop celebrating rubbish to hype a failure, The other day it was Julius Berger signage, another it was street light by a whole governor then again gutter all sort of rubbish combined with lunacy / stroke nonsense to hype a below par Alex Otti.
Nairaland if una like let obidient Igbo use propaganda lies deciet finish una na una sabi.
Yes, Lamidi Amoda Sangodele aka Yekini Amoda Ogunlere aka Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the criminal drug baron, certificate forger, mandate thief and narcotics trafficker
Front0lane: As expected wetin you wan talk. Woe betide the day any of you Igbos will created a thread to malign Dapo Abiodun on this Nairaland with your fake monickers.
Thank God say perosn go school, I nearly swallowed their propaganda thinking the man was a failure till I figured how can a man who built an airport, several housing estates n now longer n beta roads than Alex Otti be as terrible as they make him seem. Na WA o.
Abi you don see me created or made a single post about Dapo Abiodun all my life before this thread I created today ?! Make he no be like say person collect money to hype the man.
Nor be by cho cho cho. Tell Tilumbu to show workings
Quintessence44: The problem is not about honouring their loved ones.
The problem is about terrorists FORCING millions of people to SIT AT HOME against their will.
It's a direct contravention of their constitutional rights to freedom of movement and freedom of association.
Rights enshrined both in the Nigerian Constitution and the UN Charter on Human Rights.
Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state." "Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country."
Leave all these cho cho cho. Tell Tilumbu to show workings
helinues: Exactly the issue I had. The sit at home should have been voluntarily.
You can't be honoring the dead and still be causing more deaths.
The sit at home is an issue they have been shying away from discussing even though reasonable number of them are tired of it.
If we all want the best for Nigeria and SE is still currently part of Nigeria, why should we be allowing such kind of thing to continue happening.
Buhari and now Tinubu seem not to be interested even if they lock up the region for years. When would the real indigenes of the region take back their region from some few miscreants holding her on ransom?
Those who are causing trouble in the region are from the same region, so it's an internal issue
Biafra day has nothing to do with IPOB. With or without ipob, that day is sit at home to commemorate the people who died during the uncivil war
Quintessence44: I'm really interested to know if Peter Obi observed the Sit At Home.
I just want to check something in terms of my choice for president at the next election.
Because the very last thing I wish to do is vote for a secessionist IPOB sympathiser as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, especially after he was heard calling for a religious war.
Goodvibes007: Dapo Abiodun has built over 600km of roads in 5 years.
At that rate, he is building 120km per year. Alex Otti, I don't think has even built up to 30km in 1 year despite Abia being a tiny state. Ogun state is 4 times the size of Abia.
It's the SW governors I blame though, they should be intentional about setting up a department to blow their own trumpet.
Abiodun is just waking up to do few roads in his second term while Otti hit the ground running in his first term.
You cannot compare!
Front0lane: Did you know that Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday 28th of May 2024 just two days ago commissioned newly built Hospital road in Ogijo Sagamu LGA Dapo Abiodun Commissions Newly Built 6 Lanes 8 KM Hospital Road In Ogijo Sagamu
The Governor made the pledge while commissioning a newly constructed hospital road in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government, on Tuesday, as he promised the people of the area of more projects to enhance economic development. Link Above
Then on Thursday 30 May 2024 this man commissioned another 27 KM Ilaro Iwoye Owode road
Note those are two different road both longer than the 3.6 KM road Alex Otti commissioned in Abia today that Obidient Ipob will not let us hear word yet they claim Dapo Abiodun does nothing in Ogun state.
Dqpo Abiodun needs to hire a good PR specialist before obidient ruin his imagine with propaganda because I nearly believe the guy was a failure until I saw he was the only governor commissioning well built road with drainage with assurance that more roads will still be commissioned even this week and not next week. That is shocking to me for a governor that does nothing.
Biafra will come with a referendum of who wants to come along
NSNO: Biafra is not going to solve the multitude of problems affecting south-easterners. The corruption, tribalism and intolerance that got us where we are now will not magically go away when Biafra becomes a reality. In fact the tribalism might even turn out to be worse because the smaller the difference between communities, the larger it appears in the mind of the people.
What will will be the fate of non-igbo speaking people in this hypothetical Biafra?
How do you know that the leaders you will get then will be better that ones you have now? Remember that while the system may change, the elites almost always have a way of staying in power.
Why are you people forcefully taking territories of people that do not identify as Igbos (South-South)?
Nobody is asking these questions not to talk of answering them and that says a lot.
The old anthem is actually better. The lyrics and melody are better.
Next is to return to the 1963 constitution!
helinues: Just a scenario of Super Eagles having a match, how is the old national anthems going to sound, how would the athletes relate to the old national anthems most especially the foreign based?
I have seen reasonable number of foreign people who can sing Arise O compratriot.
The school kids like in kindergarten, they are just learning, and from the few things they have learned which Nigeria national anthems is amongst, they would now be told the initial Arise O compratriot was a jargons?
Even if they want to change the national anthems, how did they pass that bill so quickly that other far more important bills are just lying around in both Senate and HOA.
What we this generation know as our national anthems is Arise O compratriot, how many of those who recited the old national anthems are still alive today compared to those who are used to the new one.
Majority's opinion in this case should carry the vote. We don't want to be watching super eagles and be hearing one payan song. Imagine the confusion that alone would cause globally when we are not a confused country.
Mr President, we are not singing the old national anthems.
Accountant wey hate statistics? That one na accountant?
Tinubu na scam
OkpaNsukkaisBae: Tinubunomics on the beat. How did he get first class in Accounting@ CSU? It does not reflect at all. U sure say no be oluwole certificate
This head looks like Igbo man head. Tinubu may have been scammed
WorldFZ: In an engaging and remarkable display of strategic prowess, Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria's President, faced off in a friendly chess match against Guinness World Record holder Tunde Onakoya.
The event, which took place in Lagos, showcased not only a battle of wits but also highlighted the importance of promoting intellectual and strategic thinking in Nigeria.
lexylaw40: Ezekwesili Vows Not To Sing Newly Adopted National Anthem, ‘Nigeria, We Hail Thee’ Ezekwesili Vows Not To Sing Newly Adopted National Anthem, ‘Nigeria, We Hail Thee’ May 29, 2024 NEWS SaharaReporters earlier on Wednesday reported that President Bola Tinubu had given his assent to the National Anthem Bill 2024, reverting the country to the old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee”.
A former Minister of Education and co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, has said she will never sing the newly adopted national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
SaharaReporters earlier on Wednesday reported that President Bola Tinubu had given his assent to the National Anthem Bill 2024, reverting the country to the old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee”.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, revealed this on Wednesday at a joint session of the National Assembly marking the Silver Jubilee of Nigeria’s 4th Republic.
Akpabio said the sitting was primarily to launch the new national anthem, explaining that the President would not be making a speech because he had to leave to launch the Abuja metro line.
The Senate and the House of Representatives had previously passed the bill at separate sittings.
However, Ezekwesili in a statement posted on her X account on Wednesday, said she cannot do away with the old National Anthem.
She asserted that no one can suppress her right to dissent an obnoxious “law” that is repugnant to all that is of good conscience in Nigeria.
She wrote, "Let it be known to all and sundry that I, Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili shall whenever asked to sing the Nigerian National Anthem sing:
"Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity.
"Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause
Guide our leader’s right
Help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where peace and justice reign.
"This is my own National Anthem and let it be known that no one can suppress my right to dissent an obnoxious “law” that is repugnant to all that is of good conscience in Nigeria.”
fuckJones: It is a security protocol and a standard practice in many countries, including Nigeria, that the President, Vice President, senate president and speaker should not travel together in the same car or plane at the same time. This is to ensure continuity of government and prevent a situation where both leaders are put in harm's way simultaneously.
In Nigeria, this protocol is usually followed during official events, ceremonies, and travels. The President and Vice President often have separate convoys and security details to ensure their safety and maintain continuity of government.
This practice is not unique to Nigeria; many countries, including the United States, follow similar security protocols to ensure the safety and continuity of their leaders.
