Meteoritey: Due to work, my husband and I live in states, and my husband lives in Canada. 3 months ago we had some serious skirmishes during our phone conversation and in the heat of the argument, I told him that he does not appreciate the fact that I am raising the kids and doing everything alone.
To my disappointment, he told me that he is overworked more than me. This really angered me. This got me angry and I hung up. Although He tried to reach me for 4 days, and also sent me some messages, I cut him off without replying, about 9 weeks later, I sent him just a message on an unrelated issue, he ignored my message, after another month, I sent him another message, he also ignored. It has been 3 months now we have not spoken to each other.
Recently my brother had a baby, and he only called once to congratulate them. Moreover my younger sister got admission to a university to study the same course that my husband studied, so naturally, my sister contacted him. My sister said he advised her on what to do and what she should expect. This was about 2 months ago. I personally did not inform him about my sister’s admission myself.
After about one month, my sister also called him for more information, but he has not been picking my sister’s call.
My sisters fiancee also called him to inform him about their upcoming marriage (my same sister that got the admission) he only spoke with my sister and her fiancee once, he stopped further communication with them on both issues of admission and marriage, and that he only spoke with them the first time about the admission and the marriage out of the respect he has for them.
He gave my sister the excuse that it was not proper, for him to speak with her fiancee' because he said that I have not told him anything about the marriage, therefore he can not relate further with my sister as per the marriage. And that it was out of respect that he even called my sister initially to advice her.
What are you thoughts and opinion please. Simple solution, take a break, Fly over to pay him a surprise visit, Apologize to him, and made him his favourite dish, Then at night, wear that lingerie, that will make it hard for him to resist you, Make you show am say, You sabi dance Atilogu well well |

wayodude: Watched the game and tactically JPES gets 8/10 - the team shape was good, no question.
For tactical Implementation the team gets 6/10 - let down by the attack not pressing as a unit. They worked hard but sometimes not cleverly.
For individual performances without writing reams,
Iwobi was the star of the show.
Moffi, Lookman, Simon and Iheanacho should know by now that once the press is on they have to join in instantly. One second delay and 'your man' will be free to receive the ball and comfortably pass the ball through the lines, making your teammates look stupid in the process.
Iheanacho is clever but not a hard enough worker imo.
Onyeka did okay. Needs encouragement and better fitness.
Akpoguma and Bassey are competent and very competitive. Akpoguma especially is quietly streetwise. He is a strong asset. Bassey hassles well but gets beaten from time to time. That doesn't hurt him though because of his rapid recovery rate. The central defence was fine, no problem there.
Fullbacks Ola Aina offered more going forward than Sanusi, but that's not a surprise as Sanusi had to manage Mr Riyad Mahrez. Tough gig. They both did okay for the most part.
Uzoho. We all know now we have a major problem. All the good work done by the team can and has been undone when your last line of defence routinely turns what should be a basic no frills save into a global disaster. We have effectively been knocked out of the 2019 AFCON - Akpeyi's token dive for Mahrez free kick. 2021 AFCON - Okoye getting beat from 40 yards with clear view of the flights of ball from boot to net! 2022 World cup Qualification - Uzoho pretty must dived over a routine shot letting the ball squirm underneath his body.
...and then yesterdays Uzoho masterclass in ball dodging.
Until we fix this problem we will not reap the reward of any progress made in other parts of the pitch, and I don't see how we fix it anytime soon.
Sad sad times beckon. Nice one bro, But permit me to disagree a little, About Afcon 21, it was a slight deflection, And the bouncing of the ball right in front, He did react by getting a hand to it, But not strong enough to keep it out, And again what are our Goalkeeper trainers, teaching them, to Help them reduthose same mistakes, And what are the recommendations given to them A competent personal trainer, will do a great lot for both of em My two Cents |

Icon4s: "Young Team, Young Team" "Try new players, Try new players" "We are rebuilding, we are rebuilding" That's all we have been doing for the past 27 years.
Our Senior national team no longer Players like the SUPER EAGLES cos I find it difficult calling these ones Super Eagles.
The standard of the team continues to drop as the more experienced players continue to exit the national team.
We don't even have any trusted goalie anymore. From Ogedengbe/Okala era to Rufai/Agbonabare/Shorunmu era to Enyeama/Ejide/Ayenugba era to Ikeme/Akpeyi/Ezenwa era and now Uzoho/Okoye (the worst era)
As our economy is getting worse so also is our football getting worse. Pitifully the reality on ground is not even helping at all, but you also fail to put " we don't have keepers" "we don't have keepers"" Only on Friday many here wanna clear Okoye head from his Shoulder |

TheSuperNerd: Yeah, they are doing very well at least compared to what obtains at most other academies around the country but trust me, I pick up other high yield young talents' names scattered across other academies like FC Ebedei for instance (as one of many) who gave us Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and now Raphael Onyedika who all passed through Ebedei's Danish partners, FC Midtjylland.
Another lad from Ebedei, a GK, Mark Nnamdi Ugboh is with the first team of FC Midtjylland now. He is 18.
And another midfielder just got signed by them from FC Ebedei for FC Midtjylland's U19. Jamiu Musbaudeen is the name. Also 18 yrs and a CM. I mentioned it on this thread. Will quote it again.
And there are several others and the talents they are currently yielding and which I got tabs on. All about allowing Time do its work. FC Ebedei that gave us our Weapon of Mass Destruction then, Don't knew what went wrong, The club is Hardly heard of again |

TheSuperNerd: We used to have an NFF U13 and U15 program ACTIVELY Functioning and playing games couple of years ago but not hearing about that now. It was functional under Maigari I believe and still functional for bit under Pinnick as we had Lateef Omidiji then play alongside Olatomi Olaniyan in the Nigerian U15 team to a few tourneys in Morocco or so.
Such programs yielded the likes of Awoniyi, Iheanacho and few more.
We also have had the LMC Youth promises U15 tourneys across the country. But it's not consistent.
We have had a few good grassroots programs but our problem is the CONSISTENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY OF these programs. Today, they are active... the next year it is like nothing is happening.
Right now, it is the Academies network at the grassroots level we have in Nigeria that is giving us glimmers of hope. The likes of FC Ebedei, Beyond Limits FA (Remo stars), Simoiben, etc, etc.
The last U17 Wafu B tournament saw our U17 side play the best and most breathtaking football of all sides even overcoming a more physically imposing and equally technical Burkina Faso side. The Ivorians in the Semis too were really tactically drilled but our lads overcame.
Our U17 system at the national level is far from perfect but it has continued to yield genuine talents for us under the right consortium of coaches who select the best lads across the various finest grassroots academies in the country to drill them into one solid team schooled in the tactics and sciences of the game to the best of what our facilities can offer.
Lads like Emmanuel Michael, Ebube Okere, Ozor Okeke, Basil Mbata, Abubakar Abdullahi, Light Eke, Precious Williams, Jibril Azeez, Raphael Oyebanjo, Miracle Ogwor, Yusuf Lawali, Jeremiah Olaleke, Richard Odoh are lads to keep eyes on currently ahead of the Next U17 Afcon coming up early next year.
Of these lots, the likes of goalkeeper Richard Odoh, defenders Emmanuel Michael, Jeremiah Olaleke and Yahaya Lawali as well as striker Abubakar Abdullahi Idris, who scored a brace in the Final against Burkina Faso all made the WAFU B Team Of the Tournament.
So we are raising our own local boys but it is still in an imperfect system. Hopefully things get better. HOPEFULLY. Three things, Just three things happened, Covid 19, Lock down, Giwa and Dalung, And No sponsors, It will be hard to maintain those Teams, without paying the coaches, flying Them to Games, Not easy man |
