TheGoodJoe: Abuchi Obinwa did not make the cut of the team. So he did not get to be screened by CAF and FIFA. The screening by these bodies is for the selected team players to prove their eligibility for the competition. OK case closed |

I have even explained to komekn that you can not falsify MRI because the medical professional can lose his license.
After our preliminary MRI screening, CAF will screen and then FIFA screens. How can such report of a player be conflicting? But, no, komekn will bring a fake news of an imaginary NFF official trying to manipulate MRI scan.
Mr. Integrity. let me understand something, it's only the Nff test Obinwa dialed right , did he do another test, like CAF,, FIFA |

TheGoodJoe:
In that particular set, most paid for the preliminary MRI test. That was why Kanu Nwankwo paid for many of the boys screening.
It was a move by the NFF not to wait for the CAF screening before doing theirs, to prevent CAF screening out an already prepared team just before the competition.
So the scan cost N100,000 and Obinwa came in from America, so he was not listed among those covered by sponsors. Note some agents also paid for screening.
When the result came out, Obinwa failed the screening. It did not mean he was overage. Keep in mind, they used strict requirements. So the mother asking for the scans was out of the question because what criteria will they use to ascertain. It's good that you explained it to him, I think the reason he said what he said was that, the said Obinwa was born in the US right , so for him to fail that test, and the Nff official refusing to show her prove of her son failed test, especially when she paid for it, is a no no, atleast they should had mailed her a copy, if it's you definitely, you did suspect foul play, |

Mujtahida: This GK trainer point is not it. Our goalkeepers are already professionals. Is it Alloy Agu that will train them on goalkeeping or they bring to the table their training and skills built in them at their clubs.
Me thinks the blame for the GK trainer is that he has not searched well enough for good goalkeepers not that Okoye failed to catch the ball because Alloy Agu did not train him well. If you want to shield Okoye do so but don't put the blame for that error on Alloy. see ehn ah don surrender, anyhow anyhow we go collect am like that

They are too harsh on Okoye but when dem Dey insult akpeyi because of that Argentina error they weren’t harsh abi ?
They even blamed akpeyi for a free kick that many GK won’t save If you search this thread, you go see say, ah no say anything about that freekick and Argentina errors you know why, cos na those kind things a keep needs to up his game to near perfection, if we had been patient with Skeptic by now, with a good goalkeeper trainer, not Alloy, we for no dey here sexy lambasting Maduka, it's our penchant for always discarding someone just cos of a mistake that's our greatest undoing |

chrisooblog: Being a national team goalkeeper is not just about age but also being the best regardless of age.
Donnarumma that kept at the Euros is Okoye's age mate yet see how well he performed.
At this last AFCON our defenders tried to limit the number of times he was tested.
Nobody is saying Maduka should turn to Enyeama but make he dey make the basic saves na! is that too much to ask for? you can make your examples without bringing Donu into it, And I want you to study that goal very well, from not just one angle, but from every possible angle, and tell me what you observe, can you honestly tell me that Donu had not cost Italy a major championship, had not made one mistake that is similar /worst to that of Maduka Did Italy discard him Look at Akpeyi for Example, look at his club form, then look at his national form, did he inspire confidence in his club, or he is as shaky there, as he is with SE , why sideline Akpeyi because of that Mahrez goal, , |

Stormtrooper11: Even Sierra Leone Goalkeeper is old and experienced right??
Do you know what's the problem with we Nigerians?? We love mediocrity. We love corruption so much. Like, you know someone is not good but you still keep him. Lotta players in our team are not in form but we still keep em like we have no choice Meanwhile we got nearly thousands of Nigerians ballin out there across the world.
Can't we scout? Must we stick with you to Improve? So if you running a company, you gon' keep mediocre staff and wait on em to improve?

andrewbaba44: It’s not by age ,go and check the age of the Burkina Faso and Malawian GK and tell me they are experience as Carl Ikeme ,Okoye is even far rated than them but they make saves at the afcon that you will think they are top GK playing their trade at the epl Laliga and co
So if Okoye keep against Ghana your mind rest ? It is well my broda ,Na coach go select and not anyone us OK sir Andrew it is well, make them free that guy |

andrewbaba44: They might be too harsh on Okoye but they aren’t bias
Senegal and Egyptian defenders dey looseguard at times and their GK Dey save them ,not even ekuke type of shot like Tunisia own
The defense have been making things easy for Okoye at the start of the tournament ,so why can’t he make things easy for them ?
Did you even see the distance of that goal ? No call Mendy and Gabaski those two are old and experienced, and both had been on top flight footy for many years, especially Gabaski, Okoye is just coming up, if that mistake is what had every every calling for his drop, being a young keeper, then let's go bring, both Ejide and Enyeama from retirement, since both can't make such mistake |

Many of us are so biased, our should I say sentimental towards Okoye as regard that goal, that nobody is saying anything about our defence giving the guy that space to play that shot,
worst still some here had behind to imagine the worsted case scenario, should he keep against Ghana

Kog45: Carl Ikeme damn handsome with good body and till today fans rate him highly....so what Okoye fine face got to do with football talk even my safarigirl who always happy seeing fine faces wearing eagles jersey wasn't happy with his performance.
Pls just tell me any remarkable performance from Okoye in GWG.
My point is simple,Okoye in goal for eagles is not assuring and have been saying this before Afcon and my good friend Charlesemeka who rate him highly can testify.....During Afcon I said only Okoye will cost us and it came to pass.
Sir,if Okoye comes good in GWG I will be glad,so this is not hating but football reasoning. Carl was old, and well experienced before keeping for us, while Okoye is young and still coming up, so pls don't bring Carl into it sir, it doesn't Gbam |

lakesidepapa: Too average in super eagles, do we have any goal stopper that's better, above average and world class like Mendy?? The answer is NO. Then we have to stick with him. Btw why are you condemning him? Because of the goal against the tunisians? U think it's cheap? bros I had talk taya, yet many here had refuse to listen, what had the goalkeeper trainer been teaching them, nobody will talk, if not for that voice, he would had caught the ball, he even got a hand to it out of reflex too, now am beginning to think they are condemning him, not due to that goal. but his fine boy no pimples show on twitter |
