What are you asking me a question? You explain, tell us Ighalo will offer us more pace upfront than Osimhen, Awoniyi, Sadiq, Iheanacho and Olayinka. If you think Ighalo will offer more speed than them, then say it. if you do not, I wonder what you are trying to argue. na one quote you don take sama me two mentions so , yes , he can play as a false 9, secondly, with the exception of Osimhen and Olayinka, Awo, and Nacho with their heavy first touch as seen in this just concluded Afcon, are the ones you are preferring especially that Nacho that doesn't known his preferred position sweet eh nah to sidon look you, ah dey so oo

TFLASHOGEE: if Eguavoen will be using 4-4-2 then let osimehn and ighalo spear Head the attack then Onuachu seat on the bench, the problem come be say where nacho go start from as he will have to settle for a place in the midfield/ wing or seat on the bench which I don't see happening why I choose ighalo to start is that baba Sabi drag defenders and he will help reduce much pressure on osimehn thou we know na osigoal be the go to guy for goals. Na today ah sabi say, you sabi ball, hands up comrade

fabyom: This formation is problematic! Only 2 of Etebo, Aribo and Iheanacho is needed. We need an additional winger to bring stability. Olayinka/Chuz/Ejuke should start! Etebo shouldn't be starting. He hasn't play a lot of football in the last month. Etebo should not be starting , yet Chuks and While or Olayinka yes he had not played much, that's your excuse right chaiii

I do not think Ighalo will come in. If we play Ighalo, it will mean abandoning our system. Awoniyi, Sadiq, Osimhen offer a lot of running up front. I doubt Ighalo can offer that.
The goalkeeper remains an issue but also the tactical team needs to work on Ndidi not committing too much to the offensive side.
Any defensive contribution should come from the wide areas. which system are you talking about here, is it the Afcon system or what .do we even had a system sef, so you think Ighalo can't play in any system deployed

Joezinho: I laugh when some people say the squad list was justified. Reuben was even named in the Confederations Cup squad, it was only after his manager at Kilmarnock said publicly that he doesn't understand why an injured player was named in the Nigerian squad that Keshi dropped him.
How about the fight between Pinnick, who was then Delta State FA chairman and Keshi over the latter's percentage share for the transfer of Sunday Mba to Bastia, that initially scuttled the deal?
At the WC in 2014, we were going toe to toe with France, until Onazi got injured and had to be replaced by Gabriel, who obviously was not up to par. The tide of the game changed in France's favour with the introduction of Gabriel and eventually the SE buckled under pressure and conceded 2 goals.
I wonder if Fegor Ogude or John Ogu, both played well in the Confederations Cup the previous year, had been on the bench, maybe the result would have been different.
It's also strange that the following players, Odunlami, Nwofor, Uzoenyi, Uchebo and Ameobi either got little or no minutes at the WC and were not called up again after the WC for the duration of Keshi's reigns as SE coach.
It makes one wonder whether the purpose for their invitation has been fulfilled. what's all this One nah, make una free KESHI make him rest well biko, if you know say you never collect shakeme before for ya life, carry stone go stone am |

JohnBullMySon: I don't support mediocrity but after someone mentioned on Instagram that it wasn't his fault, with acknowledgements of others, I had to go take a second look. I re watched the replay from all broadcasted angles at 0.25X
The ball was heading to the center right when it suddenly drifted to the left after getting past Ekong. Maduka tried to return, he almost did but too late. he could not hold it down enough. Some keepers might have been sold off completely.
First three pics show how the Tunisian kicked the ball and where it was headed. In pic 4, the ball had swerved to the left That's what I had been saying, the goal was no fault of his, he even tried, but the touch was not strong enough to divert the ball completely, You can see that the ball went up when going in, after Maduka got a touch to it, out of reflex Looking at the 2nd pics, might had been a slight deflecting Ekong back leg

ChrisKels: Nawa oo. I think that ball bounced I had to watch that Tunisia game again early this morning, around 2am, I replay that goal 3times, and from what I saw, it was not maduka faults, he go down low to save the ball, only for it to bounce in front of him, he could not use bot hands in reflex, he even got a hand to the ball, but not strong enough to prevent it from going in, And again it could had been 2-0, there is another shot he palmed over at full length, Maduka is young, he will come good, thing is we had a shirty goalkeeper coach, to inspire he and Uzoho |
