The US Army is in Texas and Florida helping hurricane victims. That is what I expect the Nigerian Army to do in Benue , where 100,000 families have been rendered homeless by flood, not doing a 'Show of Force' in a place that is need of persuasion not threats. Four days ago suspected herdsmen killed 20 people in Ancha village in Miango district of Jos. If the army wanted to do a 'show of force', that would have been a good place to start. It makes no sense to do a show of force in a peaceful community when you have violence prone communities all over Nigeria. |
This is why we the Indigenous people of Biafra want freedom from this Animal kingdom called Nigeria that careless of the wellbeing of the common man. One Nigeria is a disgrace, hate speech and Biggest crime against humanity. I was the one who created a thread asking that every sensible user of this forum report your fraudulent misleading videos on YouTube. Since this forum was quick to delete my thread just to shield a fraudster, I reported them myself and good to see Google taking some actions. Soon your IP would be blocked from ever uploading a video or creating a YouTube account |

https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Tochukwu_Ezeoke.jpg As the debate on national question continues, a coalition of Igbo professionals in Nigeria and the Diaspora under the aegis of Igbo Ekunie Initiative, has called on the Federal Government to organise a referendum to determine the continuity of the country as a united entity. In a letter addressed to the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, which was also a reaction to the previous letter written by the Arewa youth to the acting president, the Igbo group urged the presidency to, as a matter of urgency, pass a motion that will allow all sections of the nation campaign for, and hold a referendum to freely determine if they want to remain in Nigeria or not. In the letter, president of the group, Tochukwu Ezeoke, noted that the motion would serve as a final, peaceful and civilized settlement of the ever-increasing contradictions and bloodletting that has long plagued the nation. While the tone of the letter commended the Acting President for his statesmanship approach to resolving long-standing issues in the nation, the group disagreed with Osinbajo’s position that Nigeria is an indivisible, indissoluble entity saying, “History has revealed that no nation is indivisible or indissoluble.” The group goes ahead to fault the threat issued by the Arewa youth, saying, “Nigeria remain subject to international laws particularly the United Nation’s Charter, which recognized the inalienable rights of all groups and indigenous groups to self-determination.” The letter reads: “While we appreciate the belated recognition of this fundamental rights by the North, we are amused that Arewa youths only just discovered the existence of this right. “The right to self-determination is a fundamental; integral to the UN since it was founded in 1945. In recognition of this fact, we hope Arewa youths will now have the humility to apologise for the illegal war waged against Biafra, which was abinitio, a repudiation of international laws on self-determination they now acknowledge.” Igbo Ekunie Initiative also said it hopes the north would apologize for all the incarcerated and murdered members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ‘whose only crime was the peaceful expression or non-violent demonstrations for their right to self-determination as recognised by the UN and African Union (AU) charters.” According to the Igbo group, “The quit notice issued by Arewa youths demonstrates the ignorance and consequent failure to realize that residency rights like property rights as governed by international law transcend citizenship. “Thus Nigerians live in Ghana, America, the United Kingdom and elsewhere even without being citizens. Likewise, British citizens living in other parts of the EU have not left because of ‘Brexit’. “The ongoing developments in the country have once again shown why Nigeria remains the dreg of humanity and a failed state where basic indices of civilization and rule of law are absent.” http://guardian.ng/politics/igbo-professionals-call-for-national-referendum/ |

https://cdn1.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nnamdi-Kanu-620x386.png Embattled Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that the reason he demanded bullets and guns from a group of US-based Nigerians in the past was not to hurt anyone but for self-defense against the incessant attacks on Igbos by the Fulani herdsmen. According to him, self-defense was recognized by all known laws at the United Nations (UN). He stated this during an interview with Adrian Kriesch of German TV station – Deustche Welle. Kanu said: “I am sure you have heard of the Fulani herdsmen killing people all over the place. How do you intend to defend yourself against Fulani herdsmen without guns and bullets? “They have been killing our people, raping our women, destroying crops in the farms and no one does anything about it. Is that how human beings are supposed to live? “Self-defense is recognized even by all the known laws at the UN. “We are fighting for independence, not fighting physically with guns and bullets. We are fighting in terms of our agitations; we are fighting in terms of our belief; we are fighting in terms of our consistency to ensure that we free, because we are not free. “As a free people, we can afford to make life better for our people. Right now, we cannot do that because of how Nigeria is structured and because of the flawed foundation Nigeria rests.” Hausa broadcast: How Buhari’s media team goofed – Okupe On the referendum, he said: “if the government does not agree to that, there will be no elections in Biafra land. No more elections here. “They can put whoever they like in office. They can do whatever they like with their political positions. We will not engage in any political process.” On his detention, he said: “I was not treated fairly because in Nigeria, people behave like animals; they are not disciplined enough; they are not mentally developed enough to run a transparent civil society. “They have a fiddle mindset where you have the ruling class and a multitude of poverty-stricken people who never utters any word in rebeliion or to even ask questions about their plight. “That is one thing we are determined to challenge.” He concluded by saying: “what we are asking the world to recognize is that we want to live in peace and not in pieces. Allow Biafra to exist. We were existing before the British came. Just allow us to go back to what we were before. “No African came to Europe to create countries. So, for somebody to just come in here and say ‘you, you, you, and you from today your name is Nigeria’ is simply laughable.” See video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hI3K9fVmBNA Source: http://dailypost.ng/2017/06/27/biafra-asked-guns-us-based-nigerians-nnamdi-kanu-video/ |

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Tuesday visited Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. In a video obtained by DAILY POST, Kanu was hailed in Igbo language by his admirers. Some called him ‘Igwee’ (King), while some referred to him as ‘Ebubedike’. Kanu is seen acknowledging the crowd’s cheer, while he was ushered into a waiting vehicle. The IPOB leader waved as the vehicle moved on, even as the crowd continued to shout his praises. His mission to the oil-rich state is not yet known. Meanwhile, IPOB has hinted that it will ride on the wings of the United Nations, UN, charters which allows group seeking secession to exploit civil disobedience in achieving its mandate of Biafra. IPOB said this in response to some Northern elders like Tanko Yakassai, who alleged that the group was calling for another civil war by insisting on the restoration of Biafra. Nigeria parks its jet while those Nigeria in Nigeria are struggling to find one meal a day .. The idle presidential aircraft in london consumes 4k pounds everyday for parking lot and its idleness. By 12am this morning, it would be 50days it has stayed idle and if you multiply that by 50days it will amount to N80,000,000.00 doing nothing but waiting for the president to get well. This is not a government but a mistake. by: Akande Akin Sanyaolu |
