Food › Re: How To Read Bar Codes by docadams: 5:27pm On Jan 31, 2016 |
samusonite: HOW TO READ BAR CODES (everyone must know)
ALWAYS READ THE LABELS ON THE FOODS YOU BUY--NO MATTER WHAT THE FRONT OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE SAYS, TURN IT OVER AND READ THE BACK CAREFULLY!
With all the food and pet products now coming from China, it is best to make sure you read label at the supermarket and especially when buying food products. Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is located. The whole world is concerned about China-made "black-hearted goods".
Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China? The world is also concerned about GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) foods; steroid fed animals (ex: 45 days old broiler chicken).
It is important to read the bar code to track its origin. How to read Bar Codes....interesting!
If the first 3 digits of the bar code are 690, 691 or 692, the product is MADE IN CHINA.
471 is Made in Taiwan . If the first 3 digits of the bar code are 00-09 then it's made or sourced in USA. This is our right to know, but the government and related departments never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves. Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products "MADE IN CHINA", so they don't show from which country it is made. However, you may now refer to the barcode -
Remember if the first 3 digits are: 890......MADE IN INDIA 690, 691, 692 ... then it is MADE IN CHINA 00 - 09 ... USA and CANADA 30 - 37 ... FRANCE 40 - 44 ... GERMANY 471 ........ Taiwan 45 or 49 ........JAPAN 489...........HONG KONG 50 .......... UK 57 .........DENMARK 64..........FINLAND 76.........SWITZERLAND and LIENCHTENSTIEN 471......... is Made in TAIWAN (see sample) 628.........SAUDI ARABIA 629.........UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 740..........745 - CENTRAL AMERICA All 480 Codes are Made in the PHILIPPINES. Share it! Hmmmmmmm |

Politics is all about personal interest. I rarely delve into state issues other than mine. @OP, your interest is your primary concern which is understandable. Be that as it may, the violence that marred the election in Rivers state will always elicit despair in minds of many. No matter the explanation that the SC may put forward later, one thing cannot be ignored - some dubious politicians are already analysing the judgement for future reference. Apparently, for now, maximum violence begets desired power. |

StOla: Yes I understand that aspect now.
Indeed she and her employers are certainly complicit in the crime of money laundering, but with her cooperation in accepting to be a credible witness against a bigger fish, then she's let off the hook. That's standard practice anywhere in the world.
My grouse is with those who believe anyone even remotely connected to funds that my have initially emanated from Dasuki, must also be prosecuted for having received blood money.
Who's to say if Dasuki's money is not already in the hands of bus conductor's? Or won't I collect my due change anymore? Well, the anti-corruption war has not gone downstream yet. So, the best thing for now, is to dam the stream at the source. |

StOla: How would she know it's stolen money?
Did she collect the money from a police corporal or from a bank gateman?
Or who do you think banks send their marketers after for deposits?
Politicians! That's the answer.
No go ahead and jail all bank marketers for collecting deposits from politicians.
If Dasuki's money has found it's way to you even if as change for buying drinks at a bar, I reckon you should be jailed also? That is wrong criticism going by what she did. This is her testimony in court: She said, “He gave me the sum of $2m in $100 bills. It was taken to bureau de change operators who would then transfer the money to ARM. From there (Metuh’s house) I proceeded to Mr. Sie Iyenome’s office at Wuse 2 where I gave him the sum of $1m. “I also invited Mr. Kabir Mohammed and I also gave him the sum of $1m to transfer the naira equivalent in favour of Destra Investment Limited. Later on the same day, She transported $2m(about N394m) in cash, as an individual, in violation of the Money Laundering Act: Part 1, Subsection 1 of the Nigeria’s Money Laundering Act of 2011 limits transported cash to no more than N5 million for individual... She must have escaped being charged for a crime on the basis of agreeing to be a star witness for the prosecution. |

A true leader of men is one who shares the joy of success with his team and takes the blame for failures. Most importantly, he should not hesitate to join them in the valley of despair (cell &/or prisons) to offer warm embrace.
But then. Jona was a ruler that was unaware of what his aides did under his watch. And not, surprisingly, he doesn't even know what he did himself.
If allowed to ask Jona just one question it would be to know if he knew the name and relevance of the book he was sworn into office with. I would expect he didn't and still doesn't. |

@OP, a caution: never bring serious medical issues to a social platform. A hospital is your destination, preferably, a specialist or teaching hospital.
Self-medication is ill-advised. From your narrative, the primary problem may not be in your 'eggs' but they became involved because of blockade of flow of blood and/or lymphatics from your right scrotum.
The apparent improvement in your condition is surely from the effects of the drugs you took, which, unfortunately, may not be the appropriate treatment required.
It is imperative to emphasise the immediate complication that is sure to arise, no matter the medical condition that you have - loss of your testicles thereby resulting in inability to fertilize a woman.
I hope you are reading this from a reputable hospital clinic. |
