Sophiad: I went on line to check my 2014 waec result 2 days ago and to my surprise i failed my maths, chemistry and geography and this is my third time of writing this exam and this time my father already warned me that if i failed this last one he will never have anything to do with my schooling again,i had to contact Mr Andrew in the waec office if he could help me i gave him my waec details and just yesterday morning he ask me to check and i was surprised at what i saw as the 3 subjects have been upgraded to C4 and c6 i am so happy all is due to the help of Mr Andrew and in case you need his help too just call him on 08152240666u mumu eh! @op i think your question should be "accept" not "require". Chemistry is a core science subject for almost all science courses. But some unis accept a pass in chem for some subjects. But b4 ur final year, make sure its complete. Jamb is cannot conclude. U also have to get d right info on d school site. Below are possible schools and courses that accept a pass in chemistry. Go to d school site to confirm. Agric edu,- mouau biology - ntnu maths/econs. Maths- uniosun amd many more geography(i think). Physics-unical(but u must pass through their remedial in year one) my friend its not so easy to find a school and course dat accepts a pass in chem. Had it been physics, there are lots of oppurtunities like biochem, microbio etc. I would you rather post your whole result here, if u really need help. We can suggest for u. |
opepwince: University of Abujafind out. I believe they do. Just go ahead |
i've got the pdf. The list is of three dimension 1. Candidates dat choosed lasu in jamb. 2. Candidates that didn't 3. Problem candidates. Just say ur name and course and i'll tell u |

freshprincex49: lol. I said 'biggest outbreak' and if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time it is hitting Nigeria.that is not new! It just quite unfortunate prophets don't predict you'd get sick, rather u approach them when u are. N.B prophets dont predict, they reveal |
KlaireKlement: I have checked it and I MADE ALL MY PAPERS.stick to the topic please! Post your result(s) |
freshprincex49: those in the business of making predictions and prophesies should have been able to predict the biggest outbreak of this disease ever to hit Africa and has caused panic all over the world. Or don't you think so?no! Ebola has been on existence before now. This is not its first outbreak! |
Naijalane: u don'tsuit urself. Btw it's "you didn't" |
Davidolives: abeg this result how far with courses geo:C6 eng:C6 yor:e8 fm:F math:B3 agric:C6 bio: ;D7 chem:C6 phy:C6compulsory depending on d institute |

Naijalane: I just check my waec result .... See belowu mumu o. Cant u post sometin more activating? Even adding God for this trash? |
vikaosi: Well, as an English teacher, I learnt from years of solid experience that a good teacher does magic for students no matter how 'dull' or 'lazy' they may be. I do not apportion all blames to students. A charismatic teacher can turn a dull student into at least a 'C5' or 'C6' student. We all need inspiration, but when it's lacking, we might flunk.o i love this. |
Jellyjust: sure , just conttact me and ur 99.9% sure to be admitted, seeing in believinglol. Really? How do i do that? |
kolawoleahmed: Juz got my result thru sms. U can also get urs via d same methodpost ur result. Dats d topic |
charleff512: This is expected as students dont read anymore.Instead they depend on expos from the Internet after FACEBOOKING,2GOING,WATSAPPING,PINGING etc.who issues the expo ?? |

Ignyte: Really confused o! 'brillancy' and 'brillant' no dey dictionary. Broz how many times you write English??.then approach other lexicographers for apt understanding! Ok? |
inositol88: some of us were lucky to write waec just once and we cleared our papers, but getting admission to the university was not easy, as we had to write jamb several times. personally it took me 5 years before I got admission to the university, and I wrote jamb 3 times. I had a friend who actually wrote jamb 7 times, before finally going to do remedial and entering, the university. Infact he acclaimed himself jamb staff.guy 4get it, fp no dey easy. |

searay: From my experience as a teacher, Parents and their wards(candidates) are yo be blamed. I can explain if you want me to.please elaborate sir! |
hmmmmm! I've been reading through all the posts posted here, and i'm perplexed. Hmmmm, although i believe the present scholars are somewhat down, but i strongly believe that their achitect is from the exams body. I can confidently tell you that in nigeria, hot-brains are not welcomed, but system-brains. The exam bodies takes delight to cause mass failure so as not to loose customers, this can be seen in subjects like maths, eng, lit, phys, chem, and sometimes econs These they do, knowing that phys is a very important subject for any aspiring science student, lit and econs for art and social science students respectively. For example in 2013, there was a failure epidemic in lit and phys. Many a candidates got below a "c" grade, thereby keeping them stranded. In jamb, obviousivity is prevalent. What i'm saying in conclusion is that exam bodies should desease from exam-ill-practices, then students would be serious. Thanks |
i've been telling peeps that the result releasal won't exceed this week like always. Just saw this on news. 1.7m made 6 credits. Wow! Is this a good result? It is not currently online, but would be before midnight details below The West Africa Examination Council, WAEC has released its May/June 2014 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results, with students failing Mathematics and English Language "massively". Head of National Office Mr. Charles Eguridu who announced the results on Monday, at WAEC office, Yaba, said a "total of 529,425 candidates, representing 31.28%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.” He noted that when compared to the 2012 and 2013 May/June WASSCE diets, there was marginal decline in the performance of candidates as 38: 81 per cent was recorded in 2012 and 36.57 per cent in 2013. Eguridu who disclosed that the results of 145,795 candidates, representing 8.61%, are being withheld in connection with various types of examination malpractice said, “The cases are being investigated and the reports of the investigations will be presented in November to the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC). |
