Yea. I've been in your shoes. All you need do is stay focused and let your passion guide you through. My first year GP was very OK and I still got medicine on merit in UNN. It wasn't easy I must say but with God all things are possible!.

My dear medicos, has any of you ever been in my shoes? I need advice and a little motivation to pull through this.. I just got admitted into Biochemistry in DELSU and I still wanna do Medicine, I want to reapply via UTME because chances of switching are very very slim (almost impossible) here in DELSU. I got admitted quite late into the session, lectures have gone quite far and I'm trying get a sexy CGPA (in case of switching) and a good Jamb score to give me a good chance to achieve my dreams.. Did any of you here get into medicine after being admitted into another course?
Advice please....

Mehn, the entire process is so rigorous..
I was unable to screen today because I couldn't process my medical card due to time constrint, I just proceeded to the screening officers office without it and he refused to put his yeye signature..
Since the school vacates today, what's the probability that offices would opened on Monday?

What about a state University? cos i filled in for AAU becos i dnt want any delay or admission Bleep up, between my O level is at 2 sittings which would even disqualify me frm Uniben regardless...

I think AAU, LASU & DELSU are good, can't say much about the rest.

Scholarship is awarded to the top five scorers in the University of Ibadan post utme.
And it started two years ago.
The scholarship covers your school fees, accommodation,and the likes till graduation.
Remember the cutoff mark is gotten from post utme only.
It is not an aggregate of post utme and utme.
For the 2015/2016 session the five top scorers, three males and two females, who are Adetunji AbdulRaham (86 per cent for law), Amaji Obinna Charles (86 per cent for medicine and surgery), Adebiyi Tijesunimi, (85 per cent for electrical and electronics engineering), Oke Dorcas Odunayo (83 per cent in medicine and surgery), Olowosulu Cassandra Olawumi (83 per cent for medicine and surgery) have been awarded automatic scholarship by the institution

DELSU is one of the most highly subscribed state schools in NIgeria and hence it's not among the list of schools which you can pick as a second choice...
You should try schools like ABSU, ANSU, CRUTECH etc

It seems there's preferential treatment for students from federal universities, imagine a school like DELSU just one awardee, why?
Is the award based on the exam score or something else?
