I know...here in Nairaland you see many of them, but that someone offers to build a website for 10K doesn't mean i have to do same, because my offering and his are the same....That's why you're a business...When someone come's to me, i quote my price and list the value I'm offering...

You can't serve everyone as a business...neither every interest.

As a business your offering is everything and you're not for everybody and can't serve every interest.

While having business plans is good, not all business needs it...( Really? ) and many more don't even know were they left it ...but its an important doc to guide any business.


Secondly you said many things without an emphasis on online presence ( websites and functioning SM channels )

Every 21st century business needs a functioning online presence ....


Another thing is knowing the extra needs of your clients creating a product around it and selling to them

To every action("sinators", there's an equal reaction...if the "sinators" feel their rights have been trampled, they should visit the court or behave themselves.

Besides not all the senators are having issues with their governors...the ones having issues should re-examine themselves.

how do one start a blog

1) Decide which platform you want to blog with ( Blogger which is free ) another free one or self hosted one which is paid ( WordPress.org)

2) Decide on the niche that you will focus ( health, ICT, Sport, Entertainment, Hospitality , Agriculture etc)

We have loads of generalist and gossip bloggers in Nigeria , gossips and politics plus controversies runs the show here and drives traffic..... But you can break out from the norm and establish a blog around a particular niche and around your area of strength.

3) If you want to build your blog site yourself or work with an expert to do that for you for a fee. if you want to do it yourself then go to YouTube and watch videos on how to set up your blog site.

if you need an expert to do it for you, you can hollar at me


4) Once your blog site is up, manually submit it to search engines ( google and bing ) to tell them that your site is up and kicking


5) Make a list of the articles/posts you intend to drop and do keyword research on those to find out their competitiveness and relevancy

6) Then publish your posts make sure they follow all the rules to reach your target audience in terms of making sure your contents is a) Optimized for search engine b) long enough to get in LTK and increases dwell time on it

7) It’s not enough to manually submit your sites to search engines and have your site pages/posts optimized for SEO, you still need to do content marketing and employ growth hacking tactics by

a) building an email list

b) making sure your posts are shareable

c) having a functioning social media channels to share your posts on e) and reaching out to influencecers s within your niche to do a shout out for you from time to time.
