It is his myriad of failures as a president that the crafty and dubious Tinubu capitalized on and rode to power. Jonathan's failures as a president is the reason why we are saddled with a greater failure in Aso Rock today.

The same people who were sponsoring bombings all over the place during Jonathan's time in office are the same people who are clamouring for his return today. But they aren't calling on him to run out of a sincere and earnest desire for him or that they believe he is the best. No, they are calling on him to run because he is a spineless weakling and he will take the fall for years of APC misrule.

I will never understand how a man can weaponise his stupidity against himself. But Jonathan will always be a simple minded fellow hell bent on self destruction.

That said, what business does Jonathan have wanting to return to power. His daftness and cluelessness is the reason why the country is in the mess it currently is. Jonathan has nothing to offer.
