vedaxcool: Reasons Kachkikwu identifed
1. Insufficient Forex, largely due to massive looting of Jonathan lead administration and a massive fall in the price of oil
2. Pipeline vandalism, by the criminal network of tompolo who is an outlaw hiding from the law
3. Poor distribution network, which has caused systemic challenges, transporting millions of litres of fuel by road is a major inefficiency being faced in the sector.
4. The need to nudge the oil majors into taking a more major role in the down stream sector |

sandraokosun: i have never for once doubted kachukwu depth knwoledge of the oil sector with his capacity.
issue is kachukwu and ths government is working hard to put things right for us.
just cos we arent getting every single detail of their underground activities doesnt mean we shld be in doubt.
the fuel case as well as economy issues are inherited problems that somehow is multi dimensional with roots frm previous govts and insentitivity over the yrs.
2016 just happened to be a yr where the main source used to paliate these countinous suppressing problems is gone.
the effects of which we see, and yet the govt is piloting the storm.
pdp and its appendages shld learn to be patriotic as akpabio and not engage on a revenge vandata which is only dividing the nation along lines.
gej was giuen the first 5yrs to prove himself, he was overwhemling supported 4 first term after getting to act for 2yrs.
it was only at the tail end of his 6th year that nigerians were feed up of his open the treasury policy to dansuki,odua,anini,oritsetjet4,clark,diaezani etc I still believe they are not sleeping on these matter. They are employing every means necessary to tackle problems in Nigeria in a holistic manner, that will be in the best interest of this country. We should also bear in mind corruption is trying to sabotage the effort of the administration. Thing are kind of blurry now but light will take over darkness |

Frankyboy1: Wrong headline! But the reality on ground is the Pdp led administration for the past sixteen years allowed every facet of this nation to decay! Whether u accept it or not! They cared more about personal and vested interest at d detriment of the nation! They looted with reckless abandonment when d resources of the nation was record high! They paid billions of naira daily in subsidy, because of availability of forex from excess crude, and allowed d monster called marketers to hold us to ransom! I trust for the first time we ve leaders who genuinely re brainstorming about long term solution to Nigeria problems like fuel scarcity, it might take some time nd obstacles, but when they get it, they will get it rit, we re all paying the sacrifice now, though painful, but we re on d way to true greatness as a nation I still believe they are not sleeping on these matter. They are employing every means necessary to tackle problems in Nigeria in a holistic manner, that will be in the best interest of this country. Buhari never said he'll automatically change Nigeria to heaven in one year...all we need is patience and we'll truly see the Change...It's not even up to half of his administration yet
The real and optimistic Nigerians ain't complaining cos they know things will get worse before they permanently get better Yea I still believe they are not sleeping on these matter. tinsel: Not every ibo think like you guys. What you guys are doing are risking the life of igbos every where in Nigeria. Unfortuntely, igbos doing this are youths between the ages of 19 to 30 years. Politicians have brain washed them because they are gullible. Just last week I have a teacher dismissed from my son's school. My son, a boy of 9 years came back from school and asked me if it is true hausas and yorubas hate we igbos. That uncle Chukwudi his oral English teacher told him. My first job was to remove this nonsense from his mind. A boy of 9 years. The next day I went to school sat down with the headteacher and the school owner. We all came to a conclusion that the best is to sack the teacher. He is dangerous to the kids. I wish people can think like a this. My neighbour is an igbo man but we are like brothers, we have eat and play together. We should all learn to live together in peace. Its more interesting and free of hatered. Iike I always say, I see you as my brother no matter your tribe |

omenka: This is what I'm talking about. Most of the venom directed at Buhari stem from nothing but sheer hatred for his person as a Muslim and a Northerner and for his defeat of their preferred candidate in an election.
Most of the tragedies being experienced pre-date the admin and these people NEVER blamed Jonathan for any of those- in fact, when it came to failures in government, they rather blamed the ministers which led me to ask the question back then: what exactly can we hold Jonathan accountable for??
Today, a guy walks around, trips over a stone and they want me to blame Buhari because I'm a Christian while he's not. Imagine the dude you quoted saying they've found "another me in you", disappointed that you could sound the way you do even though you are Igbo. That is the herd mentally most of them have. How could a supposed educated adult hold fast unto such primitive mentality??
I've told them a million times over, I will never hate anyone on account of their tribe or religion, and their blackmailing me with all that Fulani crap (as though it started in this regime when we saw the worst of it under Jonathan) only strengthens my resolve to support Buhari even more. I told them I'm a rebel by nature, the opposite of what you desire from me is what you get when you push me too hard. Like this |

greatiyk4u: Take it easy bro, being full blooded Igbos doesn't stop us from having our individual differences..is hating BUHARI now a criteria for being more Igbo than others?....instigating every Ndi-Igbo to hate Buhari because of stereotype is what I still consider a crude ideology......................
I am the type that calls a spade a spade, human beign without Law and order are animals and that is why the Bible put it thus; "the heart of man is desperately wicked"........no tribe in Nigeria is free from crime of different kinds.....though I condemn in strong terms the wicked activities of the herdsmen in Nigeria but am sure Buhari has no hands in it........
Where were you when the Spate of kidnapping was unimaginable in the south-East? Did u associate that with GEJ? What of Omatse killings that consumed many of our security officers in Nasarrawa state during GEJ regime?
Gov. Ugwuanyi has wadded into the case as the chief security officer of the state and many of us are following closely to understand the root cause of the problem...
Just understand it wch way it suits you because. Everything in life is all about perspective, dog is a pet to some people while it is a delicacy to others........life itself is a game that unfolds itself at its own pace. |

Quayman: At last, we will be relieved of the exploitation by our independent marketers. Imagine someone traveling for about 100KM to get fuel in the outskirts of major town @ about #170-180 per liter, just because the marketers in town decided to strike a deal with dem in the villages because they know they cannot sell above government pump price in the towns. |

Also, the government is out of cash. Because oil money is not flowing in....the government has to take this measure to balance the books...and hope that we do not go broke later. In other words...they are saving the cash.
In my opinion, good. Either oil goes up to 123 dollars per barrel....or nothing. We have to save cash anyhow. |
