It's like you don't have an MTN line, or you were lucky that ur line wasn't blocked.

I duly registered my line. Even when they started sending messages for customers to go and verify their sim registration, I did, as I had to spend over 2 hours in their office to be attended to. Imagine that after all these, they blocked my line last night. I went to their office in Maitama today, and it was like a market. So many customers were shouting and complaining. Many of them said they were going to port straight to Glo.

MTN will lose so many customers after this mess. I'm very sure of that.

na by force to use mtn line ? not dat it offers any preferential package or whatever. suffering n smilling dey Africa. there network is ripping us off yet they block pipuls line, abeg move from dem naah

Nigeria is a funny place, where whatever happens in/with one region of the country gives those in other regions ample opportunity to bash and make tribalistic comments. Those of you making unreasonable and generalizing comments about the Igbo tribe/SE becoming violent and all that, especially the lady that was first to comment on this post, who even went as far as saying she wouldnt date an Igbo guy even if she was paid to. I just pity our unborn generation because the hate seems to grow stronger with each passing generation.
Now for those uneducated comments, I ask you, do you actually know what happened there at that particular MTN office that got people so riled that they decided to start pelting the MTN office with stones and all whatnot? Imagine standing in the hot sun for hours just to get your line unblocked and not being attended to because the staff of that particular MTN office chose to attend to certain people based on "who they are" and then totally ignoring those who "arent anybody" nor know anybody in that office, you feel what am saying? If you dont appear rich and influential or have a commanding presence, you wont be allowed in and attended to, who you know became a yardstick for attending to customers because the number of people whose lines were blocked had grown so big and to make matters worse, the staff at the top floor office decided to pour water on these already aggrieved customers who have been standing in the sun. Imagine the disrespect, imagine the embarrassment, now imagine you were one of those people that water were poured on, imagine being insulted in such manner and tell me you wont react.

the staffs there !! are they southies or Nigerian ?

hello miss, dis has nothing to do with the biafra protest..... hw can one who has been using a line for lyk a decade nw all of a sudden be disconnected nd told to cum nd re-register the line.....using my sister as an instance, she has registered her line lyk 4tyms nw nd she has been blocked again.... she isnt the only one affected, go dia(mtn office before fire service), u'll see aged parents standing under the sun just to re-register their line..... dis has be going on for lyk 4months nw... so tell me y dia wont be fracas .....

the solution is to vandalise the place ? why not buy another line and leave mtn, na Nigerians dey work for dere o no be southies.

Last weekend they were opening parliament and there was a state dinner planned for all guests that was going to cost about 300m. President Magulufi cut the budget to 25m and ordered that the rest be taken to buy hospital beds for Muhimbili. They got 300 beds and
mattresses and 600 bedsheets from that money.

On 23rd Nov 2015 he announced that there will be no official ceremonies for Independence Day on 9th December, the money is to be used for more pressing issues and the day should instead be spent cleaning up our environment.

On Saturday 21st Nov 2015 a group of 50 people were about to set off for a tour of commonwealth countries (don’t know for what) but President Magulufi cut that list down to 4 people, saving government 600m in tickets, accommodation and per diems.

No more foreign travel, embassies will take care; if it’s necessary to go, special permission must be sought from him or Chief Secretary.

No more 1st class and business class travel for all officials except President, Vice, and Prime
Minister.No more workshops and seminars in expensive hotels when there are so many ministry board rooms available.

President Magulufi asked how come engineers are given V8s when a pick-up is more suitable for their jobs. No more sitting allowances. How the hell are you paid allowance for a job which you have a monthly salary? That also applies to MP’s.

President Magulufi has literally pressed the reset button; returning Tanzania to default factory settings, because that was the TZ Nyerere left us with.

On the day after he was brought to power, in the morning as State House officials were showing him round he decided to take a walk to ministry of finance, told them to get their act together, asked why some employees weren’t in office (ever since then the traffic jam in mornings has become worse) and ordered TRA to scrap all tax exemptions, everyone must pay taxes especially the big guys.

President Magulufi went to Muhimbili Hospital unannounced and walked through the worst parts that they keep hiding from important visitors. He fired the director, fired the hospital board and ordered that all machines that weren’t working (so that people go to private hospitals owned by some doctors) to be repaired within 2 weeks otherwise he fires even the new director; the machines were repaired in 3 days.

Finally, last week when going to officially open parliament President Magulufi didn’t go by plane, drove the whole 600km from Dar to Dodoma.

I met a lady in my neighbourhood about 3 years ago in a friend's birthday party. We exchanged contacts and started talking as good friends. With time I started developing feelings and decided to ask her if we can move the friendship to next level.

Withing a year, God started blessing me with personal contracts to the extent that I was forced to resign in the company to manage my contract works....I visit my parents in the neighbourhood as usual but never see anything that resemble her all those while. One day a lady shout out my name when I was trying to navigate a T-junction in my street with my newly purchased 2012 Toyota tundra. I struggled to recognise her cos it has been long and women changes so fast. After little discussions, we exchanged contact again. Now my phone can no longer rest because of her constant calls.. She is even forcing me to fix a date for her to visit. This is a lady that allegedly insults hell out of me when I was poor. Again, how did I suddenly become her type now when my stature and look still remain the same.. Pls advice me pals. Should I take her as girlfriend or move on with my life?

7. You wont feel like coming back to nigeria, because of their unexplainable 24hours power supply everywhere you go. Dey take light 30 minutes per week.
