26 years?? No be Awo Hall be this for UI??
It was even a mixed Hall when I was there. (96 - 02)

No cause for control; everything is under alarm.

Was telling Bishop Kukah last year after the Presidential election that the Peace Accord serves no purpose whatsoever. If anything, it lulls the unwary, innocent party to let down their guards while his adversary unleashes untold mayhem on him.

Nice one, Mazi. Wish u the very best.

Hmmmmmm

Waste of Money. Build rail to connect the satellite towns to city centre. Abaji - Kwali - Gwags to City centre. Karshi - Nyanya/Karu to City centre. Zuba - Deidei, Kubwa to city centre. Bwari- Ushafa- Usman Dam - Dutse to city centre. This will decongest the road.
Learn from the airport to city centre railway that no one uses.

Congrats

Great guy. Have known him personally since the 90s in the University of Ibadan. Used to be General Secretary of the Students Union. Very selfless, generous, philanthropic, wise and intelligent; and very, very humourous, I must add.

But me think only the late ikemba is only one entitled to the phrase gburugburu na

Ikemba was "Eze igbo gburugburu".
Dr. Amadi is "Mazi Gburugburu"

Fr. Willy was a great man of God

Would have been shocked if he had finished penning this platitudinous write-up without mentioning Peter Obi at one point or the other.

Elegant Stallion

The judiciary is an independent arm of government. Give them their money to build by themselves. It's not supposed to be the Governor's responsibility.

Lack of quality control.
I recall eating a very bad meat pie at their zone 4 wuse branch that year.
I predicted there and then that their days were numbered.

Akpabio my man.

Always misfiring....

But I'll forgive him, the man placed Akwa Ibom state on the map.

If you controlled the kind of money Akwa Ibom earned under his tenure, especially after the Onshore/Offshore dichotomy and the ceding of the oil wells thitherto in Cross River to Akwa Ibom, You'll put Akwa Ibom on the moon, not just the map.

Hyperinflation has made a mess of the money.

So your personal aides didn't have ₦80,000 to pay in an emergency. That's a heavy indictment on you.

Lost my Dad 3 years ago.
3 years before then, I suddenly had a realization that was advancing in age (late 70s) and could be called home at any moment. It helped me get closer to him, visit him more regularly in the family house and generally dote on him too. I even dreamt of his death on two or three occasions, and kept begging God to prolong his life. However, prostate challenges plus National Hospital's dysfunctional radiotherapy machine messed up his system.. He got worse after the radiotherapy, went into a coma and passed on from there.

I developed high blood pressure from the panic attack and all after his death. The palpitation I had was almost audible. I was crying every now and then. It's still painful when I think deeply of it today. The wound may heal, but the scar remains.
May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
