What you're talking about is called tokenism. An accepted practice internationally.
But its only in Nigeria that merit and competence are totally sacrificed on the altar of tokenism and ur so called ethnic balancing. The result is what we see today everywhere, and really, we aint seen nothing yet.

D same company dat constructed other roads in aba dat is still standing today has constructed dat road. Dat road has been constructed more dan 3 times since i knew it. It doesn't even last for 2 months.
I have been there bro. I know exactly wat am saying. Visit those vicinities where most thieves were burn, d roads get damaged almost immediately they are constructed.

Danfodio is even worse than I left it in 1989 for Abuja. I was there in July. U can't even enter from the east. You have to enter eche road and then cross over.
I wonder why they build roads without gutters. Its a waste of time, knowing Aba's terrain and topography.

Aba brings tears to my eyes each time I go there or see pictures of it. That's a town that ordinarily can feed Abia state from IGR alone if well managed. I wish this governor well. Wish others were as serious.

It is cool to have him use your stuff (Could make you his favorite person), and you can easily get stuffs from him sometimes also.

It is Not cool, when he over uses you or the bike. Thats taking advantage.

"On November 25, 2014, Nasir El-Rufai, the current Governor of Kaduna State in a tweet questioned whether then President Goodluck Jonathan was traveling to Chad to plot Boko Haram attacks with the Chadian President.

On September 8, 2014 Elrufai, via a tweet accused then President Jonathan of funding Christians who masquerade as Boko Haram and accused the then President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of being the commander of the so called Christian Boko Haram.

On the same day he also tweeted that pastor Ayo had been paid ₦50 billion for the purpose of his Christian Boko Haram whose purpose was to "tarnish the name of Islam".

On July 24, 2014 Elrufai via another tweet accused then President Jonathan of meeting with his terrorists from Nasarawa state.

On January 2, 2014, Elrufai alleged that he was number 6 on a list of politicians to be assassinated by then President Jonathan. This is the same Elrufai that has now instigated the arrest of Audu Maikori for allegedly inciting the public by spreading lies. He shd have gone ahead to swear by Swem. Nothing wld have happened. While in Gboko, Benue state, I observed that many litigants and their witnesses would swear by Swem (a very small claypot of sand) and proceed to tell the biggest lies I ever heard in my life. And nothing would happen to them. Its like Amadioha that is swift with retribution.
