U and who? The message is clear , he has passed his message and u are not in position to tell the masses whose message or advice to take.
Everybody can not keep quiet some of that are quiet are being quiet because of the stipends u have been receiving.
If Obi was not doing well when he was a governor then u should have call him out.
Now that Tinubu is in power anybody can criticize him so that tomorrow he will not say he was not told.

Don't talk about somebody when he is in power not when he is not in power.
Obi has every right to criticize anybody he feels like.
1000s of ur kind can't shot him up.
Message?

He should go and explain to Anambra civil servants he sacked or those he starved them of their salaroes for months for daring to ask him to implement the new minimum wage

He should also go and address Anambra fire service staff how he came about paying them ten naira monthly as hazard allowance.

Is that how u judge people then somebody like ur emilokan could have been the president of this country.
Reason is that when Jonathan was the president of the he blamed Jonathan for almost everything he organized protest but today has he been able to reduce fuel pump prize? Stabilized the naira or reduced the cost of the living.

U all claim that emilokan made Lagos to be heaven on earth that he will make Nigeria to be the same thing and he advised u all to kick Jonathan out and he succeed to achieve his aim.
What is the situation now? Do u think he fit to still rule as the president of this country?

There are about 200m people in Nigeria and u are not the mouthpiece of all this people.

Taking Obi advice is a choice just like u taking Tinubu advice.
Obi paid Anambra Sate Fire Service staff Ten Naira as hazard allowance.

Ten Naira.

Let that sink.

And stop dragging GEJ into this.

I never supported APC but you Obidients are batsh!t insane with how you are playing both opposition and promoting this your fake product.

They have now resorted to attacking both father and son simply because the father has chosen to fight for a better Nigeria, for all Nigerians.

We all recall the recently circulated pictures and the malicious insinuations. Suddenly, Olisaeloka Obi is being labeled as gay. This is not only false but a calculated smear campaign. The young man is being targeted solely because his father dares to present uncommon solutions to our nation’s deep-rooted problems.

At the same time, embarrassing reports emerged from Japan about Nigeria’s empty booth at the Ninth Tokyo International Conference (TICAD9), while revelations of Wike’s alleged $2 million scandal in Florida surfaced. A bad week for them, indeed. Yet amid this, Peter Obi continues to outline a clear vision for national recovery from the depths into which Tinubu has plunged the country.

Unable to find credible allegations against the father, they have turned their sights on the innocent son, grasping at straws in utter desperation. Let it be clear: Olisaeloka Obi is not gay. Not that sexual orientation diminishes anyone’s humanity, but this particular slander is simply untrue.

This government, having failed to deliver on the mandate it stole, has now descended to blackmail and character assassination, a disgraceful but familiar pattern. As the saying goes, a fish rots from the head.

And so, when they stoop this low, we cannot simply “rise above” and ignore it. We will confront them decisively on the very ground they have chosen. This is no longer mere politics; it is a battle for the very soul of our Nigeria.

If we fail to wrestle this country from Tinubu and his cohorts in 2027, it may very well be goodnight for Nigeria. For proof, look no further than the chokehold he imposed on Lagos. Now, with Wike posturing as a judicial fixer and aspiring godfather in the FCT, the pattern is repeating itself.

Ngozi Abdulwahab converted to islam to make it easy for her to easily pick up children from the north and sell in the East.

There's something we usually say in the East: people no dey use good eyes join white garment churches. They do so for either solution to a problem or enjoy certain benefits.

The same applies to Igbos joining Islam. An Igbo man has no business with Islam because that religion has no place in his culture.
chai!

So all the hundreds of other Ibo women arrested for traffcking children were Muslim as well?

I have even read of a catholic nun who was also arrested for child trafficking.

You guys should stop deflecting to others and take responsibility for once. Baby factories and child trafficking are dominated by your people.

Is that the message.
What he said makes no meaning to u or to ur lineage?
Giringory has no reason whatsoever to be preaching and advocating for better pay for public servants as he never gave a damn about the plight and working conditions of civil servants when he was governor.

It is the height of stinking hypocrisy for someone who was the first to adopt the ''No work, No Pay '' approach to force striking Anambra medical and teaching staff to return to work.

Someone that pruned the state civil service by sacking outrightly any non indigene employed in the state civil service all in a bid to ''cut waste''.

PoliticsRe: How Azikiwe Advocated For The Protection Of Minorities by DomPerignon: 10:48am On Aug 21, 2025
christistruth01:
Azikiwe heavily campaigned against and frustrated the Eastern Minorities from getting their own Region

Azikiwe seized their Lands and redistributed it to his own kinsmen using the Eastern Region Govt Interest as a pretext.
Azikiwe forced all Eastern Minorities to learn Igbo in school and he also moved the capital of the East from Calabar to Enugu against the advice of the British and the protests of the Eastern Minorities

Azikiwe's discrimination against the Eastern minorities was so bad that the traumatised Southern Cameroonians voted to leave he Eastern Region Nigeria and to Join Cameroon instead
The OP attempt at twisting history is motivated on trying to transform Ibo politicians as champions of ethnic minorities which is totally false.

If anything, Ibo politics since Zik was founded on the agenda to continue with where the British colonialists ended on.

This neo-internal colonialist mindset was apparently clear to the blind immediately after the creation of Eastern Nigeria in 1951. That arrogance was so perversive that western Cameroun cited it as a reason why they should leave Nigeria in 1959/1960.

It's that same arrogance that buoyed Ojukwu and his co urchins in Enugu to drag the already Ibo weary minorities in the British lumped Eastern region into their Biafra after brutally clamping down on an armed seccsionist insurgency led by Ijos a year prior.

I don't know why these Biafra revisionists think we are all as foolish as their gullible audience in alaigbo.

Who are these nuns even emulating? Is it Mary that went on to have other kids after having Jesus?

The sordid truth about this nun thing is that it dates back to ancient Greco-Roman religions that had temple prostitutes

There's no commandment in the bible that says a woman or a man should be celibate . This is all from a convert Jewish fanatic known as Paul who out of his own volition decided not to marry. Good for him. But the converted gentiles in the Roman empire wanted to keep some of their old religious customs and decided to create nuns to continue the old ways of having a temple prostitute to Venus. All this rubbish is only found in the western church in Rome. The original church that was founded in the eastern empire by Constantinople never had any of this strange and weird pagan rites that the catholic church is known for.

This is what led to the split of the church between the Eastern and western orthodox and you can see how conservative, doctrinal and non perversed the Eastern orthodxy is when compared to the abomination known as the western catholic church

Armaggedon:
Midwest was never created willingly. If awolowo was not in jail for treason and coupled with the fact there are Igbo speaking minorities in the western region who eastern region went extra mile to support, there wouldn't have been mid west state.
The creation of Midwest began and was concluded in the Yoruba dominated regional House in Ibadan.

The Yorubas never opposed the demands of the minority people in what will later become the Midwestern region.

It's even on record that a Yoruba regional parliamentarian moved the motion for a plebiscite for the creation of Midwestern region which sailed through without a hitch.

After the referendum was conducted and decided, a Yoruba federal parliamentarian moved the motion in the federal house to have Midwestern region ratified .

Was this ever the case in Enugu were all pleas by the minorities in the Eastern region were blatantly shut down by the Ibo majority?

Frustrated at Enugu but buoyed by their cousins's success, the coastal minorities took their plight to the federal level and had secured the support of the western, northern and Midwestern MPs in Lagos

When ot became inevitable to Zik and his Marxistsin Enugu that the east was soon be balkanized and end up the most wretched, that is when Zik activated his orcs in the military to stage a coup and from there abolish regionalism while imposing an Ibo military dictatorship.

Have you asked why Adaka Boro started his movement to leave Nigeria after the coup of Jan 1966?

Where was Zik when Ojukwu under the express orders of Ironsi under the advice of Zikist elements brutally clampdown on ethnic minorities to force Adaka Boro to surrender?

Why did you not apply to Lagos state government all these years with your deed of assignment to get a CoO issues for the property?

Dalohad:
These are misguided youths killing people in Ihiala and Orsu axis.

These trigger-happy boys terrorised Ihiala-Orlu road, a federal road used by SSners travelling to Akwa Ibom, Cross River etc.

Solution:
Offer them Amnesty and mop up their guns.

Form a reconciliation committee

Imo and Anambra should form a cohesive joint security commitee and vigilante.

The people of these areas have been paying with their own personal monies to keep the Soldiers and DSS in their community every month, in order to keep these boys off their lands..

If you are Igbo and you have any of your brother, cousin, sister, niece, nephew, bring him out from there and push him into apprenticeship or to go learn a skill, you will be saving his/her life..

These atrocious 'Umu oma' boys you see in this picture will soon be neutralised. You may not even find their bodies.

Save them now if you are a member of their family..
I created a thread here about 2ys back detailing how Orsu and Orlu in Imo had been overrun by cultists, fugitives of the law and criminals under the guise of IPOB freedom fighters.

You and the likes of Gidgiddy flooded that thread and claimed it was all fake news.

I created another thread here posting a press conference granted by Orlu people lamenting the ordeal they were going through in the hands of IPOB terrorists.

You came into that same long deleted thread and said it's all fake news and that the group of people who granted that press conference were hired by APC.

Now you are here lamenting .

Now the plight of Orlu people are not in any way my concern because they created and nurtured these monsters.

My only take on this issue is that if IPOB can act so dastardly and barbaric towards their own, what would they do they had the powers to overrun their most coveted SS?

One Prof Okon wrote extensively on the atrocities committed by Biaftan soldiers and Ibo civilians alike on SS people. He got an avalanche of death threats from Ibos. Even when I posted excerpts of his books here , you guys came out to deny it as Nigerian propaganda.

I am happy over what is happening in Orlu not because of the human suffering but because it exposed the evil that is IPOB and what they represent especially for SS people

If IPOB can brazenly terrorise those of their own whom they claim they are fighting to liberate, what they will do with the full support of your likes to SS people of given the opportunity like in 1967-1968, will be child's play.

PoliticsRe: Is It Time To Strip Lagos Of Her Status As Nigerias Economic/financial Capit by DomPerignon: 11:05pm On Aug 02, 2025
owobokiri:
Lagos State used to be the political and financial capital of Nigeria for almost a century. The presidents resided there. The federal legislative Houses were situated there. The Supreme Court, the military headquarters, and all major headquarters of different government agencies and parastatals were also situated in Lagos.

As Nigeria grew from a lucrative British colony to a decolonised British vassal asset, the major economic engines of the state were all situated in Lagos. This included the Customs headquarters, the headquarters of The Nigerian Ports Authority, The Headquarters of the Nigerian Petroleum company (The NNPC), all major banks and financial institutions (since banks were all owned by the government then) etc.

This also led to private organisations following suit to make Lagos more or else the gateway and the clearing house for Nigerias fledging economy. In order to stay close to not just the policy makers, but also the lending houses and the nearby major seaports, private businesses pitched their tents for decades in and around Lagos state. These created massive jobs for the locals, led to unprecedented economic boom, but most importantly, forced the hands of the federal government to radically upgrade basic infastructures in and around Lagos..

The bridges, the endless flyovers, the stadiums, the sea ports, the airport, the highways, the housing estates, the canals, the endless skyscrapers belonging to companies hitherto owned by the federal government before recent Privatisations. All were built by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA. That was the scenario until President Ibrahim Babangida moved the capital of Nigeria to Abuja after the failed Orka coup of 1992. Government agencies moved to Abuja in droves, but government structures and buildings and infastructural investments remained. While Abuja grew as the new political capital, Lagos maintained her status as the economic and financial capital of the country.

Today, with the coming of the ubiquitous APC and her sectional approach to governance, Lagos state that used to be the home of businesses and business minded Nigerians for over a century, is being turned into a battlefield for all sorts of ethnic jingoists angling for cheap attention with their base political rhetorics. The local politicians and their followers are increasingly trying ro rebrand Lagos as a product of South Western politics, while also working hard to keep Lagos status as the economic capital and business hub of the country.

Intermittently, things have taken ugly turns sometimes. Nigerians from other parts of the country have been severely beaten during elections/voting for not siding with candidates amenable to the local APC oligarchs, houses have been demolished for the most whimsical excuses, markets have been pulled down with little notice, folks from other parts of the country have been told repeatedly to "go back to their villages",streets renamed to score ethnic points, the local Yoruba language made a must in schools, and a general attempt to expunge the contributions of people from other sections of the country is in progress as we speak.

Lagos is increasingly becoming hostile and unwelcoming to the freedom of other Nigerians to live in Lagos as "Lagosians". Rather they are constantly reminded of the need to "respect their hosts" and to never lay any claim to the state even as "fellow Nigerians".

It begs the question; is Lagos having a Nigeria fatigue? Are the "indigenous Yorubas" now tired of certain citizens of the country living in Lagos? Should we as Nigerians then find a new liberal , cosmopolitan and all welcoming city very close to the sea as the new business capital of the country before tensions in Lagos snowball into something more dangerous? Warri? Uyo? Calabar? Benin? Lokoja? Even Jos or Asaba!

When you look at other cities that double as the economic capitals of their countries, say shanghai and Dubai, they are organised around set laws and not based on what one Balle or Oba said. Women are not told to stay indoors for a week because "Oro will be on patrol". Touts are not allowed to harras investors for "change" at every flyover. The laws are the ones made by the state and not by some primitive traditional stools..

So I ask honestly: is it not time we quit lagos and find a new financial capital for Nigeria!?
Dem bury Una placenta for Lagos ?

Lagos state renames their street as guaranteed by their perogative , all hell is let loose.

Yorubas are now being castigated as bigots and tribalists for simply renaming their streets to reflect their heritage and people . But Arewa demanding they be expelled from Nigeria only elicited pleas and beggings
