karma indeed. the man is 74 officially. some believe he's at least five years older than that. you deluded ipob drama queens can't differentiate between God's wrath and geriatric illness. ojukwu died at 70+ too and he was sick for many months before dying. based on your logic ojukwu also suffered karma till he died. a won werey ipob
Sharap efi, the millions of homeless people in IDP's is karma, his inability to continue with governance after winning election is karma, the blood of more than 45,000 people killed in the north within 3months in 1966 is hunting them, your inability to think well is karma, your god Bubu hates Igbo's, it's very natural for Igbo's to reciprocate. Leave IPOB out of this and you'll understand what I mean.

just a few days osibanjo talked about learning from history but these mor0ns will never listen.

the driving factor in the killing of the ibos prequel to the civil war was the killing of the premier of the north and the taunts that followed by ibos living in the north.

yes hausas have a lot of uneducated street urchins that can become weapons of murder but the ibos are not helping matters either.

if Buhari is 74 (official age maybe 80 real age) and its normal for old people to have health challenges. as a Yoruba man and an advocate of a better Nigeria (true federalism) I believe he did the right thing handing over to the VP but I don't support his decision to seek ,medical care abroad.

yes it's OK to call for his resignation or maybe even impeachment but wishing the man dead and attributing geriatric illness to God's wrath and saying all sort of silly things in just dumb. what do we have to gain by making inflammatory statements about the presidents health and wishing him dead? you might not like his policies but playing politics with someone's life and wishing him dead makes you just as bad as the uneducated Hausa fulanis who are ever willing to kill innocent people.

long story short the ibos are just as guilty in destroying the unity of this country as the Hausa and Yoruba. in fact the ibos are trying harder to pull the country down.
God forbid Buhari dies there will be jubilation in he south east and that will fuel another round of hate and probably killings in the north.

we are the architect of our own misfortunes not the British that brought us together

Beautiful but senseless write up, the hate on Buhari is what we call KARMA, whe he incites northerners to be violent, when monkeys and baboons are soaked in blood, when he wanted to make this country ungovernable, were you making such comments? Truthfully, the man hates easterners and the easterners hate him, stop getting it twisted

We know the strategy of the PDP,

They want to use the jobless youths to instigate violence in the 5% region assumed to be the most hated region by Buhari so that Nigeria Army can go after them, later they will cry genocide, over bloat the number of the casualties touts wasted and use it to garner votes in 2019 but the strategy is becoming too weak,

How can a right thinking hard working Igbo Youth take part in a protest known to be risky and deadly? Are you more biafran than the Ezeifes,Kanu's Family, and other stakeholders?.......why will the agitation and protest of prominent Igbo leaders be on the media while the senseless poor youths used to score cheap political sympathy? The most that have happened to the killed youths have been the honour of burying them with a biafran flag.......lolz

#OccupyNigeria protest of 2012 was successful because of calibre of personalities involved, just tell me any mad military that shoot at protesters lead by Wole soyinka, Femi falana, bakare,Ben nwabueze, peter Obi, Rochas et.al

PoliticsYouwin Awardees Paralyse Activities At Federal Ministry Of Finance by Don4eva(op): 4:40pm On May 11, 2016
YouWin beneficiaries stormed finance ministry, accuse minister of frustrating payment
Ifeanyi Onuba, Abuja

Winners of the third edition of the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria program on Wednesday stormed the headquarters of the ministry of finance and almost paralysed business activities at the ministry.

The angry youths in their hundreds accused the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun and other top officials in the ministry of frustrating the release of their grants which according to them had remained unpaid for about a year.

The awardees described the development as frustrating as it is negatively affecting the business which the initial grant was used to set up in 2014 when their business proposals were approved by the Federal Government.

The YouWin program is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas.

The accomplishments of the 1,200 YouWiN awardees were celebrated at the Presidential Villa on April 12, 2012.

YouWiN Women was the second edition of the entrepreneurial scheme, which was designed for only female entrepreneurs aged 45 years or less.

The third edition, which supported both male and female entrepreneurs in Nigeria, in 2014 announced the 1500 awardees.

Speaking to our correspondent during the protest, one of the affected awardee in the YouWin 3 program, Mercy Terhile said each beneficiary was expected to receive between N10m and N15m to commence a business.

She said with about 1,500 beneficiaries, the amount being expected would be in the region of between N15bn and N22.5bn

Terhile who claimed she has sacked some of her workers owing to the development said, “In 2014, we were declared winners by the Federal Government in the YouWiN  3 program.

“Some of us were paid the first tranche of our grant before former President Goodluck Jonathan handed over in May last year.

“Since President Muhammadu Buhari took over, no money had been paid to us. Our businesses are dying. We recently learnt that the president had approved that the money be paid to us but the minister of finance and his officials in the ministry are still delaying it for over six months.”

Another beneficiary of the scheme who gave his name as Bobby Adewale told our correspondent that the ministry attributed the payment delay to non provision of Bank Verification Number by the awardees.

He said, “We heard they moved money from YouWin account in banks to the Treasury Single Account. Later, they claimed that they were waiting for our Personal Identification Number.

“After that, they claimed we don’t have BVN. About 1,500 people are affected and from our records , only 120 of that figure don’t have BVN, and we are not sure if these 120 people are ghost awardees because they have told us that except they get the BVN of these 120 people, no money would be released to us.

“This is not fair, how can you delay the payment of 1,380 people because of 120 people who are yet to provide their BVN?”

When contacted, the Media Adviser to the finance minister, Mr. Festus Akanbi said the issue is currently being addressed and that a statement to that effect would be issued.

There seems to be a misconception. YOUWIN was NOT a GEJ initiative. It was a program started by a group of well to do entrepreneurs who wanted to give back to the youths in some way. Unfortunately it got politicized by the govt that was looking for anything that would increase its credibility at the time. This ultimately led to its demise.
You are absolutely wrong, YOUWIN is a Federal government initiative with partnership from DFID, EDC, World Bank and some commercial Banks. Please say what you know, the present government killed YOUWIN, youwin 4 has already been launched before APC came to power.

You have 10 people on your pay roll, we havw heard, you won in you win, we have heard. Lucky u
Oga pls no vex, we are all Nigerians and we wish the country well, am not saying GEJ is a saint. My point was on the credibility of YOUWIN, there could be people who didn't use the money well, but I know a lot of people that are in business and doing great, am not happy you mentioned YOUWIN as a scam, we should praise GEJ for that and encourage PMB to introduce such programmes to help the teeming youths. Sorry for using abusive words initially. It's Easter. Enjoy and God bless you

This is a faceless forom, it is very foolish of u to assume i am jobless. If u need sponsor for your farming business...PM me.
I agree you earn millions as salary and I earn house help allowance, that is why GEJ through YOUWIN empowerd me, now I have 3people in my payroll. Keep collecting your millions and don't criticise a programme you know nothing about. Meanwhile, shove your useless sponsorship up your ass.

Jonathan did not make mistakes....he was a mistake himself

Who are ministers that were youths? Names please....!!!!

Ok, women as ministers;..... So? How did help an ordinary Nigerian or the economy? Rather......the women proved to be more sophisticated thieves than the men.

U call a secondary sch extension a university. Virtually all federal universities needed upgrade and renovations but in the quest o deceive dumb followers and enrich some individuals, that was abandoned, and new glorified secondary schs where created. Interestingly, this same people hailing "new unis" were quick to tell us that, Jonathan could not overlook old roads and create new ones when the olds ones needed rehabilitation. I wonder how the logic works for road construction and not for unis.
All the new unis joined together can never match up with what is on ground in OAU as an example which was built with cocoa money. Not to even mention other univerisities. Oil in Nigeria is a curse.

As for YouWin..... cheesy laughable. One of the greatest scam after subsidy claims and immigration scam.
You can continue to make a fool of yourself here, GEJ through YOUWIN empowerd me to start an Agribusiness, I was roaming the streets like you after NYSC, I heard about YOUWIN and wrote a biz plan and submitted, went for interview and was selected. My biz is running fine and I have employed 3 jobless people like you. I never knew any senator, minister, perm sec or any influential person. The programme was purely on merit, your sentiments would never take away that fact. The problem GEJ had was excess loot by his aides, as per his economic policies, they'll definitely live longer than you.

President Buhari should not ignore them, if we want to make this country great, programmes like this should be taken seriously. If their businesses fail, many youths will be rendered jobless. I join them in this, we need jobs and sustainable MNSE in this country
