LOL. I have six admission letters. None for Chevening. My first choice uni bounce me. Maybe because I didn't apply through a consultant... Whatever. Uni of Liverpool since November last year still waiting for decision. Meanwhile I have gotten from Aberdeen, Reading, Sheffield-Hallam, London School of Economics, Durham, Bristol and Aberystwyth University. None of them na Chevening. Anyway I am also applying for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme. So any one wey fall in I'm game.

I think Aberdeen falls under chevening na.. why not try Manchester or Leeds... All these unis gahz give u scholarship ooo...anyhow dem wan do am!

My guy I've learnt my lesson.

If you need to apply to any UK school kindly do so through a representative. Saves you the stress.

Anyway I applied through UKEAS, and will be writing the PTE Academic test if I am nominated for any of the Scholarships I applied for. The University of Aberdeen will normally require two academic references on letterheaded paper. If it's not on letterhead then it should be signed.

Again please apply through a recognized educational consultant. They reply them faster.

I weak for this your post ooo... got my admission for Aberdeen in about 3weeks... Dint even send them references.

Heriot-Watt on the other hand took about 2months coz I applied early for 2017/18 while they were still working on 2016/17. They even sent me mails to apologize for the delay. They later gave me an offer with reference conditions doe.

University of manchester was the slowest or rather I wasn't serious with them. Dint tidy up applications quickly plus dint send them reference and proof of english proficiency for about 3months (Sept. - Nov.). They kept mailing me to know if I was still interested. Sent it in the long run and got an unconditional offer within 48hrs.

And I dint use a consultant.

Men people dey try o... observing when it changes from asses to review to asses to review by local embassy!!

Let's just hope and pray that our best is good enough and by February we all would be called for interview.

I know it's not necessary but I just got this gut feeling that it wouldn't hurt to have your IELTS or TOEFL or PTE ready as well as your admissions ready and uploaded to your application. I know it's not necessary for now as stated on chevening's platform but personally I feel it reflects seriousness/readiness to study.

I think the best thing is for people to go to PG school and check the transcript for sure. My transcript has been sent ever since I started the application, and yet, I got this email today. I'll have to request for another one while I also lodge a complain at PG school. Don't take any chances

Am sorry I got nothing on URP but you should know that when some persons have been admitted some depth would just start fixing dates for exams so no hustle if you haven't heard from you dept ,just keep checking or best send a PM to the dept

Morning peeps... I just received recommendation mail from UI doe am yet to send in my transcript. I don't know how it hasn't gotten there since last year. Please do I still need transcript label? Or can I go ahead and just process another one.

Dont go there bro...i was dere last monday..it was a public holiday and desperation made me ditch my vacation for them...choi..u shld nkt experience it..on shabbly dressed guy in pink shirt and a suit was d boss. I doubt if you can still log in. But if you can, just look at the left part of your screen, you'd see a couple of tabs there. click on overview. The full summary of ur application and progress will display. Read through you'd see what you applied for.

I think I got the admission after satisfying all the conditions necessary. Some schools don't need your passport details while applying but will definitely request for it if admission is offered. This is because it's important for your visa and probably because it's the widely accepted form of identification.

The options are there. Choose any one you want.

I dig you bro.. and funnie thing is that peeps are taking this chevening thing like it's a Nigerian recruitment where you have no set time table of events.
So far so good chevening has kept their end of the bargain.. sending timely updates to all applicants.
So if they want, the could go ahead with joining things here and there... it still won't mean that you'd get an info which chevening wouldn't send to your mail.

Well I believe this place is still over sufficient... and I believe if a whatsapp group is set up..this place will most likely wither away... But the who am I to make deductions.
