I just checked my portal now and to my surprise in the tertiary institution details that I put university of ilorin, industrial chemistry, second class upper I saw university of uyo, physics nd second class lower... I'm very sure it's system error because I didn't put university of uyo... the day i registered sef after completion I didn't see any details of the form I filled under just the passport nd pending successful application with email name date of birth etc of which I saved on my pc... it was afterwards they included the rest.. I don't know what to do about it because I can't edit it... though I've sent message to them via there contact link on homepage ...u guys should go nd cross check too... this is a surprise

This your situation is a strange one because. On your preview page all data inputed shows.. and same with on the submission page. Now the only reason you dint see this after submission is either because it dint load completely or maybe just maybe what you saved on your computer is a screen shot which wouldn't show these full details. Because mine shows all these down to my referees.
My advice for you is to try and see if you could mail support to help correct the error. All the best.

Yes they are. I know a lot on this thread would disagree, but PTDF accepts Canadian schools. All we need to focus on is winning the scholarship by making sure we all do well in the test and get shorlisted as awardees. All other things are easy.
PTDF funds Canadian admissions, Don't be brainwashed.

Boss.. please are you speaking as a past awardee who used his canadian admission to receive the award or you know someone who was awarded in the past.
Now when I say in the past I mean like last year. And kindly put to cognizance the absence of Canada in the list of supported countries which appears on the ptdf website.

For schools in the UK approved by PTDF, you
can choose University of Manchester or University
of Salford.

if you had 2.1 choose University of Manchester
as it is in the top 40 in the world and highly renowned globally. If you had 2.2 apply to Salford as they accept it though it is lowly ranked.

The departments in both schools accept WAEC English.

Please my issue is I've got an offer from the university of Manchester already but the course of study is not listed on the ptdf list of approved courses. Mine is Petroleum Geosciences for reservoir development while ptdf listed Pet Geo alone. Can I go ahead and use the one I have or do I need to process a corresponding course as listed on ptdf's site. 7. Birth Certificate

Ensure all your referees submit their references before the interview date and print out the evidence.

Essential Documents
8. Evidence of Prizes/Awards
9. Evidence of community service
10. Evidence of Professional Membership
11. Evidence of Post-NYSC Employment
12. Recommendation Letters

Also, know basics about your geopolitical zone (all the states in your zone.. .their governors, deputies, capital, senators, ministers and rep members from the zone)

Have basic knowledge of Commonwealth (the head, secretary, member countries and year it was convened).

Also, be abreast of current affairs.. .Nigeria, Africa and the world.



Arrive at FSB (Ministry of Education) very early. It will save you a whole lot of stress. Trust me.

Be prayerful.. .People get the award on MERIT.

Tips for next batch...? What can I say... finish with a 2.1 have ur nysc certificate and erm...know ur current affairs... also try to get ur medical report immediately you submit ur application.

CSC has not set a time limit for submitting reference. It is our nominating agency (FSB) that is giving us till tomorrow/thursday.

If you are sure your referee will be available early next year, then you don't have any problem wito the CSC.

but I don't know how strict FSB were with reference last year.

I don already mail eas and commonwealth reference team so I could change the referee.
