Its
time to say good bye to this private organization job. It been a nice
time working with everyone here. I am grateful to God Almighty for the
privilege HE offered me to work with everyone here. I am grateful for i
am confident that 1st of September 2013 is a date with INEC NIGERIA. My
resignation letter chilling in my wallet awaiting a new beginning.

I perceive tuesday which is tomorrow a new date with Inec. Its so strong in my spirit and i dont know why i see this week as one filled with smiles. All expectations will not be cut short in Jesus Name. Amen

The pay is not a question even if they pay 20k. The good thing is that you are entitled to grow and also pension awaits you after retirement. I have a big friend in INEC who joined the job in 1998, he now earns 300k monthly. What i clamor for is an appointment letter.

There is hope friends. Dont be discouraged we still have 4days left

This is not rumor nor consolation. INEC has compiled the list of successful candidates and one of the female National Commissioners was in-charge and she submitted the list 2weeks ago before proceeding last week to the united states for a one week stay. I learnt the commission is expected to seat on the list. So the delay is from the commission. I dont think anyone who makes the list will be short changed. But my recent fear is this idea of cutting cost by the presidency through reducing the number of Government Agencies. I pray it does not affect the shortlisting.

chalxdon: For me, I think the protest is unnecessary and uncalled for. They might have their reasons which may be justifiable. Moreover, you don't dictate for the commission when and how to issue appointment letters.

CONTROVERSIAL INEC RECRUITMENT:
It is disheartening that the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega is displaying actions of not being transparent and fair. The Commission conducted recruitment and gave first batch on the spot appointment letters without any interview refusing to do same for the 2nd batch. What is happening? The National Assembly and the relevant agencies of government should look into this.

My dear, this one is a very serious issue. Even Top INEC Staff does not even have any idea of what will happen tomorrow on this issue. They don't even have any idea of the employment process

I feel so because one of the National Commissioners made a statement on the interview day that," Don't be afraid, we are not here to fail you. We will try as much as possible to assist you. We will pick as much as we can". If there would be another batch then everyone would have gotten assurance of being picked. Employment works with quota and vacancies. If it exist then there would be another batch- there is nothing impossible but I doubt

I am not sure everyone will be called. I was opportune to speak to 3 top officials last nite but they are not even sure of what will happen. I know God is moving and things are changing: Opportunities are rising. Fairness will play in this processes. This is the last batch don't expect a new recruitment except vacancies appear again. The truth should be said at all times
