PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole's Baseless Diatribe Against Okonjo-Iweala by DonDiego(m): 7:51pm On May 28, 2015
Your half literacy is shocking. And people like you will never learn because instead of listening to the guy trying to educate on the difference between foreign reserves and the ECA, you busy starkly displaying your pitiful ignorance while calling him names.

omonnakoda:
You think you know but you know nothing. Foreign reserves are not savings .They do not belong to the Government and are not government funds not to talk of savings.Foreign reserves are Central Bank funds. Government cannot spend foreign reserves. They belong to ANY PERSON who has a naira note in his pocket and is used to pay for imports.
Those with half knowledge are always the most dangerous. please be quiet!!

Daft poser. Why must the states be allowed to be wasteful and not the FG? Conversely, why must the FG save its own portion of the ECA and not the states? Nigerians are such disgusting hypocrites.

hercules07:
This is the question that needs to be asked, why not give the states their due and save your part, why cry more than the bereaved, NOI is nothing but a failure, it is people who have chopped or those who think their tribe person can not do wrong that will defend her.
PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole's Baseless Diatribe Against Okonjo-Iweala by DonDiego(m): 7:41pm On May 28, 2015
What do you know about Paul Nwabuikwu? Now you have falsely claimed that he is from Delta State. That is how you lot invent things and add all sorts of evil colour to them and pass them off as the truth to unwary Nigerians. You should be ashamed of yourself for blatantly bearing false witness against an innocent woman.

philips70:
Exactly what she did with Soludo's. This woman is a crook and also went ahead to employ another crook in the person of her Delta north brother, Nwabuiku who always defend her even when there is no attack. Meanwhile all the defense are so hollow that they always have no bearing with the issues at stake. Imagine the other day she was accused of depleting ECA, she tried to bamboozle Nigerians with how much federal allocation the state governors have received. What's the relationship between ECA and federal allocations to state. Read the long and well articulated issues Oshiomole raised and read this rebuttal. The lying party is just visible to those kids who just played Channels kids cup. Awon ole!
PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole's Baseless Diatribe Against Okonjo-Iweala by DonDiego(m): 7:33pm On May 28, 2015
The real shallowness, like her rebuttal indicated, is with a governor who every month sent his commisioner of finance to the FAAC meetings in Abuja and who afterwards received in full his state's share of the ECA and who is afterwards showing his amnesia by claiming he does not know how the money was shared. Oshiohmole should take up the minister's challenge and publish for the benefit of all Edo people the full details of incomes and expenditures of his govt since he became governor. At least the FG has consistently done its own bit.

EdCure:
God bless you for this intelligent appraisal.

You can deduce the shallowness of her write-up with the (low) quality of comments so far by her fanatics on this thread.

Indeed, the guilty really have no arguement than personal attacks.
PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole's Baseless Diatribe Against Okonjo-Iweala by DonDiego(m): 7:27pm On May 28, 2015
She says the ECA was shared among the three tiers of govt and you are there still rubbing your eyes trying to figure it out. Folks like you will be given tonnes of fact and yet you'll still be there scratching your head in bewilderment. Well, the fault obviously isn't that of NOI.

Jk210:
I expected a more compelling reply. To me it appeared she glossed over the major issues that directly affect her credibility as raised in the comrade's write-up.

The ECA and crude price deferentials why was there no response on that? The SURE-P funding from extraneous sources? Why is she silent?

The subsidy/ oil marketer issues are already public knowledge so her vituperation on that is unnecessary.
PoliticsRe: Akinwunmi Adesina elected as AfDB president by DonDiego(m): 7:04pm On May 28, 2015
The new AfDB boss is still a local African champ. Okonjo-Iweala had the entire world as her oyster at the World Bank. By the way, just two days ago FORBES names Dr Okonjo-Iweala as one of the World's 100 most powerful women just a week or so after Yale University honoured her with a doctorate which set off stomach ulcers in some people.
PoliticsRe: Remove Fuel Subsidy – Saraki Tells Buhari by DonDiego(m): 3:12pm On May 26, 2015
Your argument is pretty funny. Because you didnt trust GEJ and his ability to manage the subsidy savings, you decided that he should pour the money into the dubious pockets of petrol marketers who made all kinds of fictitious claims while still smuggling much of the products across our borders as black marketers. Have you heard of the saying: Cutting your nose to spite your face? The reason you are complaining of fuel shortages today is because you insisted that the FG must continue to pay dubious oil marketers for services not rendered and when the money to pay them ran out, as it was bound to, they turned round to grab everybody -government, citizens, corporate bodies - by the balls until their addiction to free money was satisfied. E never end o. Expect more unless the useless subsidy is removed in its entirety.

lolababe331e:
It's not hypocrisy, many of us understood the reason for it then but didn't trust GEJ and knew he and his cronies would steal any money saved from paying subsidy. Buhari on the other hand I trust, that's the difference

Nwokem, you are a WISE man from the East.

Reason is very simple.
We dont depend on government to survive.
We are more concernd about the availability of fuel than the cost of it.
Marketers being fuel to the East because they are assured of their money.

We drive inn, buy and drive out.

Did you see any "Silly Subsidy Protests" in the East?
No, we have more important things to do.

Subsidy removal would have been the best for Nigeria, but the cabal who benefit from it, deceived the gullible.

Where is rue hypocrisy here. You saw something and you arrived at whatever conclusion that suits you and others saw something different.

Facts remains you don't know what transpired and formulating silly views shows nothing but your own shallow and infantile mentality.
You are the infant here. We saw on TV what transpired and in these days of openness it was very easy to see that your beloved leader was abandoned by his host and left stranded looking like a rabbit caught before a car's blazing headlights. Deal with it.
PoliticsRe: Photos:david Cameron Disrespects Buhari . Can He Do This To Obama? by DonDiego(m): 2:24am On May 24, 2015
Hypocrisy. See who is talking of respecting our leaders. You select which leader to respect and which to disrespect, dont you?

wealthyprince:
You did not know what transpired and you jump into a negative and destructive conclusion.

Let me ask. When meeting is over and someone see you off from his office as a mark of respect and plead with you that he has to quickly attend to others while your entourage pick you up, is that not a respect?

and when Buhari say no problem, I see you are very busy, thanks for hosting me. Is that not humility with understanding?

David Cameron showed great respect to our most respected president elect.
and Our president who is not a proud man showed humility and understanding. Simple!

or do you want him to carry our president on the head to show his respect?

Concerning the Obama picture if Britain's think the way they see the picture they could as well say Obama disrespect Cameron for making him to walk after him like his PA. But they are great minds only small mind thinks and talk down his nation and president especially when the president is a respected international figure.

Stop this attitude, bringing the image of your president down is bringing your country down. Let us respect our leaders and join hand to build our beloved country Nigeria and its Image. God bless Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Photos:david Cameron Disrespects Buhari . Can He Do This To Obama? by DonDiego(m): 2:21am On May 24, 2015
So Buhari no longer wears suits? Was he not the one all over the place looking ridiculous in those ill-fitting suits during the last elections' campaigns? His handlers wanted us to believe he was now broad-minded. But does the leopard change its spots. Now, opportunity came for him to display that alleged broadmindedness in London but instead the man jumps into his kaftan looking like the provincial dullard that people always knew. Baba One Chance indeed.

she must take responsibility for all economic policies made at the detriment of Nigeria economy. she is the manager of our reserve and we all know that our foreign reserve has been depleted beyond our imagination.
Depleted to assuage the blackmail of your dearest progressive governors for it to be shared only for them to steal their states' allocations afterwards, ramp up huge debts for their states and abandon their states' workers with several months of unpaid salaries. I suspect that those are also NOI's fault.

THANK GOD EVERY REGION NOW OWNS THE NIGER DELTA OIL AND MAY GOD BLESS THE NORTHERN AND SOUTH WEST REPS WHO PASSED THAT BILL. NIGER DELTANS HAVE BEEN OVER PAMPERED IN THE NIGERIAN STATE AND ITS HIGH TIME WE PUT A CHECK ON THEM. EVERY RESOURCES IN THE NIGERIAN TERRITORY BELONGS TO ALL NIGERIANS. WE CAN NOT CONTINUE TO ALLOW THEM CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF OUR OIL WHILE THEIR REGION WAS DEVELOPED BY MONEY FROM COCOA AND GROUNDNUT BEFORE OIL WAS DISCOVERED.

THIS IS THE CHANGE WE CLAMOURED FOR AND I'M GLAD CHANGE IS HERE. THE SOUTH EAST ARE VERY BITTER ABOUT THE BILL BECAUSE THEY ARE STYLISHLY LURING THE NIGER DELTA INTO THEIR BIAFRAN DREAM WHICH IS FUTILE FROM INCEPTION. I REALLY THANK THE NORTH FOR MAKING THIS GREAT MOVE. THE NORTH SHALL ALWAYS BE THE OWNER OF NIGERIA COS THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST POPULATION AND LAND MASS. WE SOUTHWESTERNERS ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND THE NORTH cool

PoliticsRe: Stop Fighting Obiano, Monarch Tells Ex-gov Peter Obi by DonDiego(m): 8:34am On May 11, 2015
Is it not FREEGLOBE? Anything that has peter Obi's name on it gives her nightmares and heart attack combined. While she is there diminishing herself out of spite for Anambra's most successful goveror ever, Peter Obi is there growing in stature and prestige daily. Hatred is a chemical and it corrodes the humanity of those who have drunk it.

FreeGlobe:
A first class monarch in Anambra State, Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo, has urged former governor of the state, Peter Obi, to end his feud with his successor,Willie Obiano, in the interest of the state.

Nwankwo, who is the traditional ruler of Nawfia and Umunri in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state stated this at his palace on Sunday at a press briefing.

He said Obi should be grateful that the man he brought to succeed him was doing well in every ramification.

“Even in a family, there can be sibling rivalry occasioned by jealousy, but we don’t allow such things to grow beyond certain level,” he added.

He said whatever could be the cause of the misunderstanding betweem Obiano and Obi ought to be resolved by now in the interest of the state.

He said, “Obi is the person that should take the step to end this issue. He ought to realise that if Obiano is not there as governor, he(Obi) would be facing all sorts of investigations and probe by now. So, he should end this feud now.”

The monarch spoke against the backdrop of the just concluded general elections, where the former governor allegedly worked against the interest of his former political party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Nwankwo enjoined the people of the state to rally round Obiano in his bid to positively change the face of the state, especially in the area of security.
