Seems MTN is really waking up!!! Glo is known for their famous 3gig plan rollover. It seems mtn is also following suit. Below is the sms i got from mtn few min ago

"Yello! Do you know you can rollover your unused data to your next subscription? Simply renew your data plan before expiry. Dial *131# now for data offers"

They're not just waking up, they simply reminded you of an existing issue. MTN have been rolling over data all the time I was subscribing to their old N2500 for 4.5GB day and night plan.

This 'zap' word clearly is sweet to a lot of nairalanders so they're always looking for every slight opportunity to use it even when it doesn't really apply. This night plan costs N25 and it is 500mb. Below is my proof, show us your own proof that it super zaps like mumu as you alleged.

You had better use another SIM if you have subscription in the other one. What happens is if you have subscription and still subscribe the night stuff, it will work but most times you won't use up to 500mb (like 300mb) and it starts eating from your main data. I'm talking from experience . It happened to me 3 consecutive nights b4 I dedicated my other SIM to it fully.

That's a cool point too, but the reasons to lock your devices outweighs the reason not to. You're talking about case of emergency which doesn't happen all the time but his reasons to lock your devices are things that occur almost on a daily basis.

What I've come to realize is that there are a lot of kids & "novices" on this forum that most times they don't know what they're complaining about. They put a target on their backs, then asks someone to take a shot and when he does take the shot they start crying. The only network that charges double is Airtel and they have their reasons for that. That plan is for BlackBerry phones and usual on other devices with that condition of double charging. People will still go ahead and subcribe, then come back and complain. When you buy such plans it is always conspicuously written that billing may differ on non bb devices.
Nevertheless, when you subscribe to airtel Android bundles, the charging is normal, yet people won't understand.

That you didn't experience it doesn't make it a lie.

Disappearance of data(which is not what he's complaining about) is a technical hitch that most times doesn't last long b4 it's rectified. This is however, different from data burning faster than usual (which is what he's complaining about).

Oh pls!!! What is ultra slim in 8.5mm? There are phones of 5.5mm (Gionee Elife S5.5), 5.9mm (Galaxy A8), 6.2mm (huawei p6), 6.8 mm(Galaxy s6), 6.7mm (Galaxy A5), 6.9mm (Iphone 6), 7.3mm (Galaxy A5 2016) etc I can go on and on mentioning ultra slim phones and not one silly sick phone with 512mb ram.

If you're still subscribing to Glo data plans, you are on a long thing. If you're still subscribing to airtel wayo plans, I think you're even on a longer thing.
If you're not on mtn, you're almost doomed.
