Yes initially we experienced a few challenges because the OS and some features of the OS are totally new to us but did we all not find android so challenging. Points mentioned are so dry and pointless. Which OS offers unlimited data or their battery doesn't die? I think the OP is just playing catch up to similar posts like What exactly do people do with lumia phones??, what do people do with their iphones,, now he's come up with android but unfortunately he couldn't make any point that's peculiar to Android.

I'll buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 when Kulimart removes that leather casing and removes its price cos that's one thing I'll never NEVER use. Therefore it'll be a waste of funds for me.

Xiaomi uses glass that's equivalent to gorilla glass on their phones.

What can gorilla glass do that's tempered glass can't do. Tempered glass is better than gorilla glass because if your phone with gorilla glass fall, your screen will be affected but with tempered glass, only the tempered glass will be affected.

Gorilla glass is over hyped.


Why not get Xiaomi phone, that will clear your doubt.

Before I don't use a phone more than 4 months, but since I got Xiaomi mi3 last year, I am still using it and that's the only personal phone I use. I ain't even thinking of getting another phone now. I don't think any Samsung phone can survive the kind of fall my phone do fall.

I don't do Infinix oh, this one you're referring Infinix to me. I have touched Infinix phones only twice since they came to Nigeria. I also don't have any problem with Xiaomi, I just said they're a China company and I can't pay 75k for a China phone that won't have resale value in case I want to sell it after 6 months.

The fact that Redmi note 2, which is just one of their numerous products didn't come with gorilla glass does not make it an inferior product. Moreover, there are other kinds of screen protector apart from gorilla glass in which I'm very sure one was used for the Redmi note 2 as it passed the scratch, drop and water test. So what else are we talking about? BTW, Some of their other products come with gorilla glass too and they're not just called the Apple of China for the sake of it.
We could go on and on about this but I think it's not really worth it. I've made my point, so if you don't agree with it, it's ok.

My brother, setting sentiments apart, there are lots of these so-called "Chinese" phones that are far better than an iPhone/Samsung products. Xiaomi for instance use good processor and hardware with good designs just as or even better than an iPhone. It's just that people have refused to accept that something good can come out from China and it'll be a difficult task to change their orientation/mentality about it

For starters, this phone is not yet unveiled as you claimed. Nothing about the phone is clear yet. Gsmarena says the device will be launched next year so you're basically telling us about someone's concept and prototype of the so much rumoured[not yet unveiled] Nokia C1.

It's been raining since morning so network has refused to upload the pics.

Today 7th September 2015,Nnamdi Azikiwe University UNIZIK commences her post UTME for candidates that made the institution their first choice and scored 200 and above in UTME. Today's Exams however, is for Medical and all Paramedical science courses including pharmaceutical sciences.
Yours truly was there live and managed to take these pics as students await their turns to enter the Exam hall. Earwitness reports from those that have written said the Exam which is Computer based, lasted for only 10 mins and comprised 20 questions selected randomly from all science courses.
I must say that the crowd is too much; seems like every jambite wants to study Medicine in Unizik.
In the meantime let's wish our prospective students luck as they write.

It's different from a China brand that's owned and made in China, we all know what China products stand for. A pupil was asked to say the opposite of the word Original and he answered China.

Don't you know that Redmi Note 2 processor consume lesser power than infinix hot note processor.
Infinix hot note uses 2013 Chipset when we're in 2015.


Truth be told, I don’t buy phone because of battery size because too many fake capacity.


Above 3,000mAh battery is okay by me. I look at the following before buying a phone.

1) Chipset, mainly snapdragon but since MTK Helio X10 is good, I have no P.
2) Display: I like quality display so much.
3) OS: MIUI preferable, I can't use any phone that doesnt have MIUI.
4) RAM and ROM: 2/16GB is enough for me.
5) Build quality: That's why I am a fan of Xiaomi.
6) Camera: Another reason I use Xiaomi. They never disappoint.
7) Battery, not less than 3,000mAh. Xiaomi optimize their MIUI and also use real capacity.



In conclusion, I can't use a private phone that is not Xiaomi. Patiently waiting for Xiaomi mi5 this year ending or next year.

I would have get Xiaomi Mi note but the size is too big for me.

Does MIUI 6 have this pin lockscreen type where the numbers are randomized?

@Op d topic is misleading-for d price range d phn is a wonder,software snappy and fast,d battery is slightly below average to average, as 4 d white iu-android is customizable thru d use of launchers,fonts etc,also d simple server/psiphon stuff works on it without hassles,its a very gud phn 4 its price,Nigerians are avid consumers-so we get easily bored with products very fast-especially phns remember d days of blackberrys,Samsung galaxy 2 & 3,d 1st galaxy note etc

Seems the fuss and euphoria of the Android One thingy has suddenly waned and people are beginning to realize that Infinix Hot 2 device could've been better spec wise.

I got no biz with Infinix but if your infinix hot note can't last up to 6 hours on heavy usage then the battery isn't real capacity.

Do you mean your Redmi Note 2 lasts 6hrs on heavy usage? Like you switch on the phone, press it nonstop till 6hrs? If it's like that it's good. My current LG G Pro lasts 4hrs 30mins if I use it like that.

I doubt if the Redmi battery will last as long as that of the Infinix Hot Note. 4000mah vs 3060mah, 1.4Ghz Processor vs 2.0GHz processor, HD 720p screen vs FHD 1080p screen, 267ppi vs 401ppi. No way, it can't match it.
