My colleague & I applied for the Drilling Engineer experienced role ... we both wrote the written test, but are yet to be called for the First Stage interview.

Some of our friends that sat for the written test (who applied for the same role) have gotten reject emails.

I am yet to get an interview invite or a reject email up till now.

Does anyone know why this could be so?

please, For experience hire engineer who wrote their skill test on 26/01/2019 both in Lagos and Uyo. Has anybody been called for interviews according to rumor.if yes upload your invite here. Thanks.ie construction engineer,subsea engineer,environmental engineer etc

The interviews for Experienced Hire positions start this week bro. A friend of mine has his this week.

If the Oyibo guy told us to expect feedback in 4 weeks time, he MIGHT be implying that the Experienced Hire interviews may be in batches.

Maybe Marvel68 would be in a better position shed more light on this.

I don't know bro. So far, none of my pals that wrote the Subsurface exams have received interview invites.

Exxon has started calling for interview I just saw an email congratulating me and inviting me to black diamond for 1hr face to face interview.

This is for skilled test written in Ugo on Saturday.

A friend of mine who applied for the Construction Engineer role also got an Interview invite email early this morning.

I wrote the Experienced Hire Skills Test on Saturday. At the venue, we had to show them our original certificates, after which we submitted the respective photocopies them.

Mine was a Skills Test for the Drilling Engineer role.

50 Questions to be answered in 60 minutes.

The questions were purely Drilling Engineering Questions (cementing calculations, hole volume calculations, bit selection, wellbore stability questions, etc)

No GMAT/SHL style questions at all.

My question is to those that wrote the test yesterday. Was calculator provided by the organisers of the test?

Calculators and pencils were given to those that didn't come with one; and were collected back by the organizers after the test.

I'd advise you not to bank on the same thing happening for the Graduate Engineers' tests, because the venue won't be at a Mobil's Office.

So I went to the company website & dialled their phone number...

They said that email has a full inbox, and that I should use info@indexconsulting.biz

Please check your inbox & Spam folders, & if your application bounced back then you can use the alternate email address.

I just Did, & my application didn't bounce back
