Logic obviously does not suffice, so it must be emotion. And the emotion that Trump taps into is "Patriotism" or "America is best nation ever". His actions are consistent in so much that China is viewed as a threat, people believe America is being played for suckers financially and that "pandering" to Middle East nations is a waste of time so may as well play hard ball with them. Combine this patriotism with any particular flavour of bigotry (racism, against muslims, against gays, sexist) and Trump is your man.
Since the selfless acts of WW1 and WW2, America has been force fed a diet of "America is the greatest nation on earth". But since the 1970s, people have been told more and more you can't do stuff, you have to be liberal, understanding, multi-culti, responsible with guns, tolerant of gays etc. And this "cross-messaging" doesn't sit well with some people, particularly rural people. Therefore they flock to Trump because he "tells it like it is" and shows people it's ok to be bigoted. They want America to be great again like they were told. And this post WW2 greatness had nothing to do with gays, towelheads and women having abortions (exaggerative terms for emphasis). They long for the single message "America is great" and not the "but you have to be nice".
Education is the answer and the youth of today will never vote Republican. Biden is +50pts in the under 21 voters. But till today's confused bigots die off, Trump wil get votes. |

Amoto94: I will advise to vote for Trump his non-interventionist agenda and bringing the jobs back to America is a welcome idea to me, Covid19 pandemic undid some of his gains and the amplified BLM , he didn't start any war unlike the Obama administration that was covertly sponsoring nonstate actors to destabilize Libya and other countries in the MENA, also Obama was pushing sodomy down SSA countries throat while their more pressing needs are poverty, food insecurity, terrorism, and lack of basic infrastructures. You do know that Trump hates Muslims like you, right? |

Amoto94: Just as I have said you're allowed to criticise our religion with intellectual materials and we will refute the criticism with our own proofs intellectually and clarify that which aren't understood but mockery is an act of provocation that is done to rile up the ignoramus amongst the Muslims who will foolishly and violently react thereby playing into the hands of the provocateurs. What happened in France was extremism from those who both mocked the Prophet(PBUH) and the cowards who attacked innocent people thinking they're doing Jihad. Below is a link to an audio that explains my stance properly
https://www.salafisounds.com/short-clip-those-who-mock-the-noble-messenger-muhammad-by-abu-khadeejah/ I agree with you that people are being provocateurs under the auspices of "free speech". But you also have to consider that France is a predominantly Christian country before being largely secular. Many people slander Mohammed because they vehemently oppose his doctrines and once again do remember that the Moslems are an absolute minority there. More than 87% don't agree with these beliefs hence the mockery. My own problem with this is the fact that revered Moslem leaders, both religious and political inadvertently support the violence. Some have even openly supported the "retaliation". This is in another man's country, don't forget. I can't envisage the Pope of other Christian leaders advocating for violence, even when their religion is insulted, even from the "ignoramus". Isn't it troubling that this particular religion continues to be susceptible to gruesome violence? A Christian may be judgemental but he is rarely violent. This is why people are turning far right and the call for closing of borders is only growing stronger. Islamic leaders have to come together and sue for peace, irrespective of how terribly people react to their faith. |

Amoto94: Funny days ago you wrote about boundaries, limitations, rules, laws and, regulations and order and here you are exposing yourself as a gifted intellectual fraud and an intellectual yet idiotic fellow. The world is beyond your human comprehension and what you think you know is a tiny fraction of what you don't know. I've never threatened to expose people on this thread due to difference in views but you've attempted doxxing nihilist for calling you out on your idiosyncrasies yet I'm the one with violent tendency, I've never attacked you or anyone else on this thread based on their ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation (I'm against sodomy) but you've been found wanting of some of these yet I'm one that's prejudicial. As for freemixing with the opposite sex it brings about more harm than good, it leads to sexploitation and demeaning the status of individuals involved that's why Islam prohibits freemixing. There are scientific research proving the dangers of freemixing I will avail you with one whenever chance permits me. There is no way on earth, you will Logically defend the archaic and anachronistic rules of your beliefs I just outlined. I actually see you as a good, mild-mannered individual who was just unfortunate to have been born into such a terrible system or religion, but try as you may, until you shed such archaic beliefs and practices ,you hold dear, you can't be seen to be a logical or critically thinking individual. Secondly, I will repeat this again. Rarely, will i ever instigate an attack on someone. For instance, you are the one who has initiated this heated argument between us by maniacally alluding to my supposed "issues". I only vehemently respond to such unwarranted attacks. Moreso, I did not attack you, I attacked your controversial beliefs. Of course, you should be open to a constructive criticism of your beliefs, keeping in mind, they may be wrong. Lastly, I do not claim to know everything. As a matter of fact, my hallmark is my open mindedness. My dogma is built upon a culmination of different beliefs far from mine, not just that which i was born into and I do hope you could adopt such approach for your social well being. |

You can reach out to Asido Foundation on Twitter and Facebook for help The issues that plague me is to fundamentally speak logic to mass delusions and hysteria. Speaking about issues, Infact, you are the one with issues. You are the one who is told never to touch his penis_ with his right hand when you urinate or are in the toilet. I can go to the toilet and take a shit without ever bothering about "demons" and "evil spirits". You are the one who must constantly pray before and after using the toilet. I could shake and hug any girl who is endearing to me while every girl unmarried to you is strictly forbidden from physical contact with you. Your everyday life is controlled by the most stringent and strictest guidelines and rules. One that only makes you develop numerous prejudices towards those who are different from you and makes you and most of your kin highly volatile and susceptible to violent extremism. But yeah, let's talk about my heartless, psychopathic, attention-seeking, gay issues. |

donjazet: I swear down, one can't truly understand a situation like he who wears the shoe that pains.
Sometime ago when i watched the news and saw some motorists run down black lives matter protesters who were obstructing the road in America, I was like, what kind of heartless barbarity is that??
But after spending 5 hours in traffic yesterday because of these fools who don't even know what the're protesting again, my perspective became very much clearer on how those people felt.
At this point, I am asking why we don't just take the win so far and chill and watch how things progress from here.
In America, after the death of George Floyd, millions of people all over the world, came out in support and solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. Trump didn't even pay close attention, he kept screaming law and order but at least he held dialogues with police Chiefs that led to slight reforms on police manhandling.
Before you knew it, the protests started getting derailed to other issues that had nothing to do with the original intent of the protest Good or bad as they might have been), People started defacing all revered monuments, started blocking highways and calling for a total abolishment of the police force. At that point, normal people lost interest and the zeal to still protest and 4 months later, you still have some people protesting for God knows what. The protests are thoroughly unrecognizable from how it started. Everyone is now tired of seeing all these protests in America now that have even turned violent in many cases and would rather the whole thing stopped for now.
We in Nigeria need to learn from that. The protests were very honorable to begin with, with a very simple message #END SARS. The international community has rallied behind us and the government has responded swiftly too. They have banned the unit and assured that the unit is now rendered defunct with reformation for it's members. We have to take this win and bide our time, now the protests are being hijacked with all sorts of agenda from different people. The protests are gradually progressing to riots, the protesters are now a nuisance to the average citizen on the road.
These protests have to end now. LET'S TAKE THE WIN AND BIDE OUR TIME. Else normal people will lose the zeal to continue to support us. Back when a reasonable voice with a sense of foresight and parabolic hindsight foresaw how everything could easily go wrong and called for calm but was shot down by anarchists and blood thirsty thugs written on A40 notebooks. Now, here we are having to console ourselves and brethren for the barbarity unleashed upon ourselves by our own brethren. Very pitiful indeed. Foresight is truly a gift. |

Ibime: The same guy in this video is the same guy in larrides video who said none of the 13 injured he took to Hospital died.
The doctor saying he has one dead in this video is not inconsistent with what I've said about a small handful of fatalities from strays or a few seconds of errant soldier shooting. If this is the closest Hospital to the tollgate, and it stands to reason that you would rush injured victims to the closest Hospital, and you have doctors confirmation of one death so far, this is consistent with stray bullets rather than any sustained horizontal shooting. Also knowing the Theatre capacity of Hospitals in UK, much less local Nigerian hospitals, I can tell you for free that most of the injured survived without Theatre treatment which is consistent with low impact injuries. This doctor even confirms in this video that this hospital only has one theatre and it is currently occupied, and yet has a number of injured whose death should have materialised within a couple of hours if they had major impact injuries.
@ bolded, that's just it. It can't be more than that. You can't tell me Soldiers will shoot automatics consistently into a crowd and there won't be multiple fatalities running into hundreds even. A single Las Vegas gunman killed 58 and injured 850 in 9 mins of shooting from distance in his hotel room and most of those in the first couple of minutes, before everyone scampered and ducked and he started picking people out. Guy, I won't suspend logic even though my sympathies are with the protesters and for the first couple of days after the shooting, I called it a massacre on here, but none of the evidence has stacked up to being more than the usual army shooting in the air with strays and falling bullets. Everything about Lekki tollgate from every video to no of casualties is consistent with army riot behaviour of shooting in the air with a few strays. That's why we always warn about strays when going to protests. Very well said. Well you can understand that people are soo emotionally charged right now so would give no room for objective critical analysis. Having said that, I proudly welcome you to the club of heartless, attention-seeking, psychopathic gay bastards. (HAPGB). Trust me, it's a fun club to be in. |
