donjazet:As expected, bishop abioye of winners chapel urges his members to get their PVCs and vote Peter Obi. A Yoruba christian in one of the top 5 biggest churches in Nigeria both in terms of building size and members population urging his members right there in the north to vote for the only christian on the ticket. Again, this is taking place in north central region. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuxIgfnFpfw |
Skimpledawg:Surely you won't be deceived by their foolish propaganda. Never forget how Buhari was packaged for us and how we all fell for it. An expired fool was packaged for us and we fell for it and now we want to let affliction rise a second time? Never we can't let that happen to us.
|
Amoto94:Stop chatting bullshite. Nobody is condemning any person eating corn or cassave. We are pointing out the stupidity of the proposed government policy from a lunatic with a failed ambition. We are laughing at the idea of 50 million youths eating only corn and cassava EVERY SINGLE DAY. Don't forget the last part of that crazy proposal. "What they will eat, agbado, corn cassava,. CASSAVA in the morning, yam in the evening. Meanwhile compare what people are the warfront in other countries eat below and you further see the sheer senility of your defense of the man.

Example of Classic gaslighting below. Don't fall prey to the tactics of enemies of our country.
|
When I talk about mental manipulations and classic gaslighting. This is what I mean. Somehow, this place has become a safe space for people to try and whitewash the image of a criminal, a godfather of institutionalized corruption in Nigeria. A purveyor of the godfatherism politics that has only been inimical to Nigerian politics. For instance, ambode was regarded as a hardworking governor by majority in Lagos but because he fell out of line with a criminal drug baron, he was phased out and a useless stooge was put in his place. This same godfatherism politics has plagued places like Enugu state, Delta, abia and soo many other states, both north and south. And people want this to continue. Are you people not tired of the old wayd of doing things? Is it not funny that the core supporters of Tinubu happen to be people of just his tribe alone? Can we really not grow above tribal sentiment? His rant in Abeokuta was a clarion call to his fellow native speakers and they are all beginning to answer, forgetting that this person has been a key part and parcel of this present government. All the people that Tinubu "made". How have they moved Nigeria forward? Apart from inner city Lagos that has always been a step ahead of all regions in Nigeria due to influx of the wealthy from all parts of Nigeria into Lagos, how else have the rest of the SW fared? Is price cheaper there than in other places? Is school fees cheaper? Is transport cheaper and easier? Is rent cheaper? Is cost of goods cheaper? The answer is NO!! We all are suffering in the same boat while these men steal our future. We cannot continue! We must unite and bri6in an entirely new set of people and pray that they get it right this time. What we can NEVER do is continue with this same set of people and hope things change. It will NOT.

Ibime:I don't understand. Una no dey use AC for houses for UK? Is it a cultural thing? |
raumdeuter:Bros no vex oo. You never still apologize for all these posts below, abi e no follow for unfounded and false narrative?
|
Oasis007:First of all, why do you ALWAYS post a smiling emoji before every single post of yours. It's almost creepy. ![]() Secondly, what do you mean by being "realistic"? I've never made a concise election permutation. I always point out to people that voting apathy has always been very high and all labor party needed to do was bring in millions of fresh untapped new voters which they've been doing very healthily. Osun and ekiti elections have absolutely no bearing on labor's 2023 elections. People are looking at candidates now, not party. Peter Obi has fully emeshed himself in the national conversation. You can't say that the man won't get at the very least, 6 million votes if the elections held today. And finally you need to know that Peter Obi supporters are working twice as hard as any other support group. They know the monumental challenge ahead and they are going all out in their little little ways to magnify his presence around the country. The other parties keep relying on their old machineries and looted state funds to run their campaigns as usual. The air is saturated with Obi supporters unless you are in a social media echo chamber. |
Oasis007:Lastly we concur!! I've been saying this for a long time. All these permutations are completely useless. A day is too long in politics, talk more of 6 months where soo many alignments and realignments take place. Some people even change their minds on election day. I was just looking at old voting numbers of the south east and realized something. Anambra, abia and imo have more than 5 million registered voters but delivered only 1.3 million votes. About 25% The apathy was too high. Unlike northern states that were delivering by as much as 60% turnout. All these can change soon.
|
OK2NVME:You are a tribal rabid dog. Who the gods want to strike, they first make mad. You are a raving lunatic. Nigerians are rushing to get their PVCs so as to bring in the most competent, physically fit, intellectually fit and crime record free candidate. Obi is the best of all candidates, that's why Nigerians of other minority tribes are fully behind him. |
Very good choice, welcome to the fold. |
NOBODY CAN PREDICT NEXT YEAR'S VOTING PATTERN. I can't say this enough. Shebi the L wey una collect yesterday never clear una eye? With all the primary school line of thoughts? And yes, it is extremely early to predict the reach of labor party next year. You cannot predict the inroads that would be made, if anything yesterday showed me that the Nigerian electorate might have just learnt split ticket voting for the first time. Some people would vote for a party house of rep candidate from different party while voting president at a different party. A single person would thumbprint for different parties at different positions, but I feel this would be the most likely option for old voters while fresh voters will thumbprint for one party all the way through. This is just a basic analysis, based on nothing concrete. Same as all mushroom armchair analysis. NOBODY can predict how things turnout. Some yorubas value religion over tribe, some don't. Many yorubas are not moved by tribal instinct. Yoruba and igbos account for the highest intertribal marriage in Nigeria. Many would overlook tribe. I can't even predict SE voting pattern with the numerous parties there. 2023 is pregnant, that's all. |
Oasis007:I agree with you, so that means, SW wouldn't vote en masse for APC at the federal seeing as the APC has also failed them woefully, right? |
I expect to see soo many videos tomorrow of pastors condemning the APC ticket and endorsing Peter Obi. Soo many churches are going to preach against the Muslim Muslim ticket. Personally I don't like people using the pulpit to preach politics, but if it works for good if us all, I'm fine. |
BlueRayDick:I had mixed emotions watching this. On one hand I don't think it's normal for anyone to just come and be flashing camera on my face and recording me eating. I think there should be a law against that. He's indeed invading his privacy. But on the other hand, I feel a little bit of schadenfreude. This people are rarely ever challenged on all the atrocities they commit here. It's good to see them squirm under pressure. See as him dey beg the guy dey use hand cover camera. A whole government minister wey people here go dey lick him nyash for am. . It's good that abroadians don't take nonsense. ![]() |
I'm trying to put myself in an osun person's shoe right now reading these comments and realizing that either way, he's fucked_, for at least 4 more years. More purposeless leadership, more corrupt plutocratic leadership. More greedy leaders who will still end up trying to recoup all the billions of naira used this campaign season, trying to settle the political mafia in the state. More overbloated state government contracts, more nepotistic government appointments. Less attention given to the electorate until 4 years from now. WHAT A COUNTRY!! |
Joezinho:In other words, they were given the choice of choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. Do you see why it's good to have a credible alternative that doesn't have to mean you are stuck with 2 traditional bad choices? |
Griffon:That's it bro. And that's all that's needed right now. The selection process of the top 2 parties was a disgrace. They just sold their tickets to the highest bidders. Naturally, this should be between Obi and osinbajo. But they decided that dollars should be the sole factor in the Choice of their flagbearers. Not intellect, not ideology, just DOLLARS! We need a full change to the system. donjazet: |
A reminder that every single human being knows that labor has no chance in today's election. Osun state ended their voters registration soo many months ago. This newly reborn labor party had no hand in the selection of lasun. The present labor candidate. The new labor party is just 2 months old and Obi supporters in the state are actually supporting PDPs adeleke. But know that the presidential election results will be very different 6 months from now. donjazet: |
I think he answered well. The truth is no Nigerian leader can come out in support of gay marriage. The Nigerian electorate is simply not ripe for that. |
BlueRayDick:I honestly cannot understand the rationale behind trying to mock IPOB supporters who now support Obi. These people have legitimate reasons to feel that they've been marginalized in national affairs and want their own country, (remember, many other groups also seek the break up of Nigeria), you refuse to grant them their wish of secession. Now they are dropping their secessionist agenda and rallying towards a national project. Are you not supposed to be happy that they are now getting involved in Nigerian affairs and dropping their previous agenda which you didn't like before?? The matter dey confuse me aswear. |
Joezinho:2 can play this game, NE elders endorse Peter Obi and reject their party https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/07/2023-north-east-elders-endorse-peter-obi-of-labour-party/ |
Useless propaganda. News from agbado urchins community. A.U.C. Useless propagandists. Smell the coffee. Nigerians want a new way of doing things. Out with the old, in with the new. Say no to A.P.C. Obi we want, obi we will get |
BlueRayDick:Lagos is clearly an anomaly, it is a megalopolis. It is a mega city which continually drives population from all around to it. The below average workers that work in the city would go and live in those rural areas and shuttle from there. This is very different from other states. All parts of Lagos are heavily populated and saturated. You can not use Lagos statistics when talking about population distribution because it's clearly a different situation. The Lagos situation will be very different from a bayelsa situation or an ekiti state situation. In Anambra state the population of people in it's major cities, Onitsha, awka, and nnewi would make up 60% of the entire population of the state. |
Amoto94:This attempt to link IPOB to Peter Obi is laughable at best. I remember when you people were trying to link Obi with killing ipob members in ezu river, now you are trying to link him to them by all means possible. ![]() And looking at the matter in-depthly ask yourself, why did ipob come about? And when did the movement become tainted with violence? Don't forget that in 2017, the movement wasn't violent in anyway. That changed about 3 years ago. And to summarily put it, if people who were violent for a cause suddenly laid down their arms to clamor for a better nigeria, to abandon their plans of agitations for succession and now buy into a national agenda, isn't this supposed to be glamorized rather than used to mock them? Don't you like that people that used to make noise about breaking up Nigeria, which you you personally didn't support are not doing that anymore but talking about getting involved In a national political project, doesn't this show you that all along, these people just wanted to feel a sense of belonging in the country?? Don't you understand the symbolism of a Peter Obi presidency to those people? The imagery of acceptance of an Igbo president at long last after more than 50 years of national marginalization? No igbo man has smelt the top for the last 50 years despite being one of the top 3 tribes in the country. This would mean a lot symbolically for all these IPOB agitators. And don't forget that IPOB is not the only secessionist group in Nigeria. There is ijaw nation secessionist group and there is Oduduwa republic secessionist group which an able member here is a part of and was seen drafting genocidal plans in one such group. |
BlueRayDick:I refuse to be that pessimistic. Furthermore, numbers prove your assertion wrong. Urban center dwellers always dwarf the number of rural settlers. In Benue state for example, the population in markurdi and gboko will dwarf the population of 5 rural local governments combined. The problem as I've stated before is that Nigeria has always had a very large voting apathy problem. Not enough people vote!! Only 1 in 9 people voted in the last elections. Just 15% of the entire population. Statistically, just adding 7% more (8 million votes) to that number is enough to cause an upset. And I believe that that situation is about change very drastically come February next year. Only one candidate is inspiring new voters. Only one candidate is inspiring enthusiasm and whenever that happens in an election, there is usually a seismic change in the system in different ways. In 2015, a 2 party system was born. It's about to be a 3 party system next year. In case you didn't know, labor party now boasts one senator from imo state and 9 house of rep members from Benue, abia, Enugu and imo state. |
Let me be the first person to say this here. Labor party will lose today!! I know that when the inevitable happens, the radical tribalist, the chief propagandist and the paid party agent with a soul for hire would want to celebrate the LP loss regardless of whether their own party wins or not. Logical reasons why the LP would inevitably lose today. 1. The Peter Obi revolution is less than 2 months old which means that while he's well known to more than 95% of the educated demography, the illiterate rural dwellers who are the traditional members of the 2 party's are yet to know Obi very well and his outstanding values, precedence and principles that have won him soo many admirers and supporters and makes him soo easy to sell. 2. Many of Obi's new converts are people who have not voted before and most likely did not have PVC, hence the rush at all INEC centers today but for the people of osun, INEC registration closed more than 5 months ago and they were one of the earliest to have started registration so there is no way for Obi's brand new voters to get their PVCs in the state. 3. Vote buying and selling. This wicked act will ensure victory for one of the big two. The politicians have mastered the act of weaponizing poverty. Make the people soo poor that they rejoice when they see 20 thousand naira and find the offer too irresistible, not minding the long term consequence. Over the hours, I will repost this over and over again because I predict the enemies of our country who still proudly support failure and wish them upon us will derive pleasure in the loss of their countrymen's futures. |
A must watch. Oasis007. Please watch this to the end. The end is particularly important. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMNmHngaA/?k=1 |
Sometimes I wonder if I'm living in a bubble. Not one single person I know around me is supporting Tinubu. I mean not even one! Both from the work place, my friends and my family. I've seen PDP but the PDP guy is leaning PDP purely on the basis that he feels that voting Obi will indeed be a waste of vote needed to oust APC. Rest assured, I'm working on him. But I can tell you that over 100 people I've spoken to, not a single one has told me they're voting Tinubu. None of my contacts are supporting or posting support for Tinubu. For the Tinubu supporters, can you say you've never seen an Obi supporter offline? Or on your WhatsApp status? |
Ibime:Very unfortunate. |

I go try one method of hanging icecubes in a vented container on back of fan tomorrow. If it doesn't work, I'll see how the children are tomorrow and if they can't handle it, I'll book hotel for a couple of days.
