The Football Association is investigating a complaint that Jose Mourinho used abusive, sexist language towards former team doctor Eva Carneiro during Chelsea's Premier League game against Swansea City. THE CHELSEA MANAGER COULD FACE A FIVE-MATCH TOUCHLINE BAN IF FOUND GUILTY OF IMPROPER CONDUCT. The governing body’s compliance department are studying video evidence that Mourinho abused Carneiro either from the touchline or as she came back down to the bench at Stamford Bridge during the game against Swansea on 8 August. Under the FA rule E3, players and coaches can be penalised for using “offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures”. With an aggravated breach, in this case potentially with reference to gender, a five-match ban is the minimum punishment. The FA was responding to a complaint made to them by a member of the public in the last few days, as it is duty-bound to do. Carneiro was dramatically demoted by Chelsea after the game. In footage of the incident subsequently broadcast by Sky Sports, Mourinho could be seen shouting angrily while he was observing Carneiro and head physiotherapist Jon Fearn from the touchline. Mourinho then had a subsequent exchange with Carneiro, a native Spanish speaking, Gibraltar-born medic, as she came down the touchline to return to her seat. In a statement the FA said: “The FA has received an enquiry relating to an alleged incident during the Premier League fixture between Swansea v Chelsea on 8 August, and will make no further comment at this time.” |

Am so gutted seeing the dismal performance premier league teams display in Europe of recent. If someone would tell me that juventus who haven't won an Italian league game, whose midfield is still under renovation, who spent less than 40 million euros would defeat a Manchester city team at home, that spent a 160 million euroes with a heavily equipped midfield and fastest strike force, I wouldn't believe this.. That game cost me #33,680. Pellegrini!!! The thunder wet go fire you dey chop akpu! |

Dear nairalanders, as you already know Facebook is introducing a dislike button and this is a generally approved innovation to the largest social network. So I am asking don't you think it will also be a welcome development if our able owner Mr Seun Osewa brought it over to nairaland? since it is the biggest social forum in Nigeria as it gives room for one to better approve and disapprove (rate) ones comment. SO THOSE IN SUPPORT CLICK LIKE AND THOSE AGAINST CLICK SHARE. Cc LALASTICLALA |

Am just so scared!!! |
Ok this is what i think JM can't just replace 1/2 the team overnight. There is economics involved, unfortunately, in his decision making and while I am not saying that economics determine everything..it is a concern. So, Ivan and JT contract will not be renewed for next year…but Cesc is the player CFC has to be really concerned about. THis guy has fallen off the table and if he sits (like Ramires) his resale value goes down the drain… Furthermore, while there are lots of Mikel fanboys out there, both Mikel and Ramires need to go ASAP. There value is diminishing quickly. Didn't Naismith play behind the striker today? 3 goals from the #10 position? Where was the pivot midfield players? The pivot DM of Matic/Mikel is ***** poor folks. Mikel is so slow he can barely move at a pedestrian pace. He can't stay ball side and goal side. Thats a problem folks. Furthermore, Ivan goes forward which is fine but he is too slow to get back and is constantly caught out of position. Then Matic has to move over to the wing to cover for Ivan and BIG GAPPING HOLES form because Ivan can't get back, Matic gets caught out of position and Mikel can't stay ball side and goal side. Its really that simple folks. Furthermore, the distribution from the back 4 is way too slow. Why is that? Well our opposition knows to flood the midfield So we just sit there and play with the ball back and forth because the midfield is flooded with opposition players. Then Mikel/Matic comes back for the ball and the play is so slow. CFC doesn't have the midfield players to slice the ball through the midfield and attack. Your not going to get that from Mikel/Matic. If Cesc is with Matic his defending is worse that Mikel. So that doesn't work. You put Cesc in the #10 and he is too slow to press. My God this team needs Oscar.. Furthermore do you notice that CFC lacks any player to substitute for either Oscar or Cesc. No legitimate #10 replacement nor any replacement for Cesc (passing specialist that can defend). Can anyone say Cabye? So, we have Mikel..worthless…Ramires.. worthless and no real substitutes for Oscar or Cesc…BTW At this point CFC can't really do much until January so why not try 4-3-3 with Oscar/Matic and either Willian or Ruben in the midfield. This has to be better than the 4-2-3-1. CFC lacks the pivot players for this system unless JM trys Oscar with Matic but whom do you play at #10? Hazard? JT is too slow and Cesar has to cover him. Cesc can't defend so Matic has to defend for both of them along with Ivan that is always caught forward. Big holes…DROP IVAN…DROP CESC. INSERT OSCAR. GO 4-3-3. |

MOURINHO MAKES GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS Jose Mourinho has had his name entered into the 2016 version of the Guinness Book of Records. To celebrate the honour, our manager was presented with unique framed certificates marking his achievements at Cobham recently. Mourinho’s five managerial records in the latest edition of the famous and prestigious book are as follows: Longest football unbeaten home run by a manager (nine years) Most Champions League titles with different clubs (two) Youngest manager to reach 100 Champions League matches (49 years 12 days) Most points in a Premier League season (95) Most games unbeaten at home in the Premier League (77) Mourinho was pleased to be recognised by such an iconic publication. ‘The fact they gave me the awards in a way that I can put them up in my office is nice,’ he said. 'It’s something fun and as a kid you could never imagine that one day you would be in the Guinness Book of Records. ‘You know me, these awards are for something I did in the past and obviously it’s nice, but for me what’s more important is what I can do in the future.’

lordfalcao:I know one thing for sure, if hazard was at Barcelona where they play passion football or arsenal where he would be seeing much of the ball HE WOULD BLOSSOM and I mean be in that top3. Chelseas game play doesn't match FLUID players because we always believe in sitting back and surrendering possession to a bigger opposition likewise mourinho. If hazard was on the same pitch with messi, O GOD!!! They will be UNSTOPPABLE because they don't rely on physical attributes but their brains(technicality). |
