raumdeuter:Take a look at last season!! We all know that fabregas, Costa, matic, binging back Drogba!! Were mourinhos basic decisions!!! He didn't really sell kdb, lukaku and salah. They asked to leave due to frustration! And u can't really blame José for this because there were better options.. Then you simply can't pick kdb over hazard or lukaku over Costa or shurlle over Willian!!! THEN!!!! These were obvious options which were successful!! And more so they didn't want to be bit part players, they wanted to be in the 1st team. The subsequent problems which later surfaced was complacency and a lack of quality bench which was down to the meagre purchases by emenalo.. There is no way José would order for papy or baba or hector as a defender. I don't understand why someone will try to discredit/undermine joses success by rubbishing his transfers! Which most at times are very successful!!! And I can boldy say this Chelsea team has a better spine than the team that won the Europe league in 2013.. Jose strengthened the team with his acquisitions, the current problems in the team now were simply down to BURNOUT and COMPLACENCY. |

coded01:Well, anomalies happen sometimes and this was one of them and more so it would wrong to squarely blame him for our misfortunes. As he said after our loss to Southampton then. Every1 should accept responsibility for their own part in the problems special mention John Terry!! And of course emenalo. I don't know if I am the only one was wishing john terry actually left!! For crying out loud he has been a captain for many years in this club and in my opinion he failed woefully OFF the pitch.. The Chelsea dressing room was plagued with several unrest, highest level of player power. Many of which translated onto the pitch. His own personal problems off the pitch.. People don't usually criticize him but I think I am one of the few who think he dosent deserve to be a captain!! He couldn't control the players.. I am surprised pple didn't see the tactics he used against the board this season concerning his contract, it was with an aim of turning the fans against the owner/board.. Not to forget his own led mutiny against some of the coaches that were brought!! Avb comes to mind.. I can't just go on rit now!! The crucial matches he actually cost us??!! If not for time, I would have gone on and on but believe me he really has been a bad leader and this hasn't really helped the managers on seat!! Mourinho included. |
coded01:For crying out loud!! He was a master tactician who rarely lost big games.. Bar guardiola, he has a better head to head than any other top coach in the world. I don't understand why pple actually call him a defensive manager. In Portugal, his team outscored other opponents, at Spain he outscored Barcelona twice.. At inter he also outscored everybody. Read these articles below!! This was before his first Carling cup with liverpool 2005 and his champions league final with Bayern and Porto. You will truly understand y we Chelsea fans should fret when he faces us. This should enlighten you. He said before the final!! Football is about BALANCE!! You attack well and defend well. Help yourself with these please. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/jose-mourinho-the-jose-way-485013.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8695530.stm *modified* in the first article, I was shocked to learn that there were very silent rumours that he was a gay lover to sir bobby Robson!! what wouldn't haters say or do![]() |
Ibime:you can't have said it any better!! JOSE WAS FAULTLESS The Chelsea board was very wrong in giving more authority/power to the TD(Grant Avram /emenalo) over a coach like José morias mourinho. It totally undermined his authority and more so putting all those behavioural clauses in his contract was ill thought!!! I certainly hope we can rectify most of these mistakes now in order to achieve managerial stability for once!! ![]() |
Nihilist:I don't think its possible to call yourself a football fan without having an alliance with a team. It doesn't happen! But rarely do pples choices take this form of contradiction. |
lordfalcao:Wrong!! Well I guess one can be both.. There are many man united fans who are Ronaldo fans too, who would want him to also be successful, they want him to be the best footballer, to have a better trophy haul than messi!! now how would man u fans feel if tomorrow he came to Chelsea or giggs becoming a Chelsea coach?? Would they still want him to win trophies or be successful with Chelsea? Now I hope you understand my feelings. |

lekkie073:You see, in football, there are really heartbreaking moments you experience, as a Chelsea fan we've had dozens of that!!!b Mourinhos inter Milan winning us, iniestas late goal against us, lampard scoring against us with a major league rival, peter cech almost dying on the pitch, john terrys penalty miss in a champions league final!!! And many more! But these are MOMENTS one will eventually recover from because they are scarce, but in this case, we will be faced with this debacle day in day out. Because you can't wish mourinho be successful and wish Manchester united, a major rival succeed. You get?? And as I said he was the reason I first joined this club although I have grown to really love our club!! I still love him very much( no homo).!! ![]() |
Guys!! I really need help. I don't know if I am the only one who is really confused rit now!! With the imminent appointment of José to man united, I am suddenly Doubting my loyalty to Chelsea football club, I am sort of confused who I'll support right now and this is my reason. I knew about football in 2002 at the age of 13 through the world cup that year, we were the only house that had cable in the area then and pple flocked our house to watch national matches. This made me pick an interest in football but I really didn't know much about any team bar Nigerian team. I then knew about the EPL in 2003 but wasn't a fan of any team. Pple around me were mostly arsenal fans then because of kano nwankwo but I wasnt really influenced. I was a neutral for about 2years and within this period was when José came to the EPL. And of course left everyone in football in awe. He changed the dynamic of football in england. He introduced a new formation in england that no one could match (433). He exuded great exuberance and charisma that inspired many and dare I say he was loved by all except of course our bitter rivals (arsenal, Liverpool and man u) who now had a new competitor. And this was when I made my choice!!! By the summer of 2006, at 16, Chelsea had just won the trophy back to back, thus making mourinho a 4th time consecutive league winner. My arsenal friends then were silenced by this man and thus I made my decision. This man literally drew my attention to Chelsea and I loved his success and I loved the ambition of this club hence my decision to support them. The first time he left, I was really angry and sad, although he can't be exonerated of all blames, he wasn't the root cause, players were forced on him and this led to an array of issues, I was hurt but decided to continue to support basically because I was consoled by the fact that he was going far away, not a rival and more so he had already laid a solid foundation upon which we would build. Years passed and I was correct, the club built on that foundation and became one of the powerhouses in Europe. He himself would go on to acclaim more successes along the way and setting records.. THIS MAN WENT ON A NINE YEAR UNBEATEN HOME LEAGUE RECORD WITH THREE DIFFERENT TEAMS. I could be forgiven for saying he was directly responsible for the success which we have had and for that I will forever be grateful to him. All these years my love for Chelsea grew more, I decorated my locker and room in secondary school and now university with Chelsea colours stickers and paraphernalia, I have had the highs and lows, I have enjoyed mocking arsenal fans till date, in all, I have enjoyed being a Chelsea fan. When he came back the second time, I was happy and anxious to see how well things would turn out to be then, because it would be an understatement to say the club was very unstable. He came and tried his best. He was fired and now... Now he is moving to a direct rival and I am at a crossroad as to who to support because I still adore his success and tactical acumen. Pls what do I do? You see, in football, there are really heartbreaking moments you experience, as a Chelsea fan we've had dozens of that!!!b Mourinhos inter Milan winning us, iniestas late goal against us, lampard scoring against us with a major league rival, peter cech almost dying on the pitch, john terrys penalty miss in a champions league final!!! That's not true, its just that I acknowledge the fact that he brought me here and now I dont know if I can stand being his rival. Cc lalasticlala

The US and British governments knew where at least 80 of the Nigerian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram were but failed to launch a rescue mission, it has been revealed. Terrorists stormed a secondary boarding school in the remote town of Chibok in Borno state, northern Nigeria in April 2014, and seized 276 girls who were preparing for end-of-year exams. Although 57 of the girls managed to escape the rest have remained missing and have not been heard from or seen since apart from in May that year, when 130 of them appeared in a Boko Haram video wearing hijabs and reciting the Koran. Dr Andrew Pocock, the former British high commissioner to Nigeria, has now revealed that a large group of the missing girls were spotted by British and American surveillance officials shortly after their disappearance, but experts felt nothing could be done. He told The Sunday Times that Western governments felt 'powerless' to help as any rescue attempt would have been too high risk - with Boko Haram terrorists using the girls as human shields. Dr Pocock said: 'A couple of months after the kidnapping, fly-bys and an American eye in the sky spotted a group of up to 80 girls in a particular spot in the Sambisa forest, around a very large tree, called locally the Tree of Life, along with evidence of vehicular movement and a large encampment.' He said the girls were there for at least four weeks but authorities were 'powerless' to intervene - and the Nigerian government did not ask for help anyway. He said: 'A land-based attack would have been seen coming miles away and the girls killed, an air-based rescue, such as flying in helicopters or Hercules, would have required large numbers and meant a significant risk to the rescuers and even more so to the girls.' Dr Andrew Pocock the former British high commissioner to Nigeria said a large group of the missing girls were spotted by British and American surveillance officials shortly after their disappearance. Dr Andrew Pocock (pictured left) the former British high commissioner to Nigeria said a large group of the missing girls were spotted by British and American surveillance officials shortly after their disappearance. He added: 'You might have rescued a few but many would have been killed. My personal fear was always about the girls not in that encampment — 80 were there, but 250 were taken, so the bulk were not there. What would have happened to them? You were damned if you do and damned if you don't.' In an investigation by Christina Lamb for the Sunday Times Magazine, Dr Pocock said the information was passed to the Nigerians but they made no request for help. The Magazine has also seen brutal rape videos which show schoolgirls are being used as sex slaves by the terrorists. Ms Lamb reports: 'They film schoolgirls being raped over and over again until their scream become silent Os.' Some of the girls who managed to escape told Ms Lamb they were kept in 'women's prisons' where they were taught about Islam. Boko Haram fighters would visit and pick their wives. The girls were powerless to resist as even then the men would be heavily armed. They were shown videos of people being raped, tortured and killed as a threat of what would happen to them if they tried to run away. Dr Stephen Davis, a former canon at Coventy Cathedral who has spent several years attempting to negotiate with the terror group said Boko Haram 'make Isis look like playtime' and said it is 'beyond belief' that the authorities both in Nigeria and the West do not know where the schoolgirls are. He insists the locations of the camps where the girls are being kept are well known and can even be seen on Google maps. He added: 'How many girls have to be raped and abducted before the West will do anything?' Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau previously claimed that all the girls, some of whom were Christian, had converted to Islam and been 'married off'. I just had to revisit this thread.. How did this guy know ![]() |
bykebyke:What series is this?? |
HOUSE OF CARDS IS DEFINETLY THE BEST TV SERIES RUNNING!!!! NO DOUBT. |
Iniesta actually has 150 career assists including pre professional career ( under 18-21) levels. He has 127 assists in barcelona starting from year 2001 to date and has 23 assists in 107 appearances for country including friendlies, qualifiers and playoffs.. http://www.transfermarkt.com/andres-iniesta/nationalmannschaft/spieler/7600 and this http://www.transfermarkt.com/andres-iniesta/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/7600 |
bykebyke:Don't you think its awkward that biscuit who actually plays deeper than these two has double of iniesta's tally?? |
Karma is really a bitch see as barca fans dey create all of forms of excuses for iniesta despite his obvious inadequacies!!! They tell you he has an influence in Barca's general style of play. But when you say same for hazard, they are so happy to point to stats.. For your info hazard has 14 assists in all comps this season despite his goal drought!! Una papa barca fans!! |
Its MANURE today.! I doubt they will win.. Westbrom just seem to be in their best form currently. |
bigkesh:FACT |
WOW!!!! I now really duff my hat for ibime!!! ![]() how these iniesta's stats escaped me is inexplicable!!!. I just chop my guy 2K today.. He argued with the last drop of his blood till we browsed it and voila!, it was true!! When ibime 1st said iniesta was unproductive, I was like wtf!! Fun fact: A BARCELONA MIDFIELDER HASNT SCORED UP TO 15 CAREER GOALS IN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!!! I mean a novice in football could say David Silva, mesut ozil, luka modric are all BETTER than him! SHOCKING!!!! |
WTF!!!!!! Iniesta went a full year without a goal or assist!!!! That just illogical and unbelievable!!! |
Emaprince:I quite disagree.. I think the players need to be very fresh for that match, we have absolutely nothing to lose in the epl. I bet you PSG will do the same |
All I care for is the 3 points today!! Although I think willian, azpi, Mikel and Costa should be rested for today.. Give Ruben Kennedy and traore full starts.. Up blues!!! |
