Ibime:But the same you have been using passing stats to denigrate jorginho for months here. ![]() Ibime stand one place na. After every match you go and paste passing stat to bash jorginho. Now that I've reminded everyone how jorginho has better adapted to his new coach and become well rounded, you are now trying to mock jorginho's passing records. ![]() What hate would do to a person. ![]() |
pamcode:This is not true. If there is a constant debate over a player, i think it reflects the player being a player of high value. A lot of Man-u fans till today are debating whether Ronaldo is really important to their team despite his record clearly showing. Before Messi left Barca, a lot of barca fans too were constantly arguing over him with many saying that his role was overstated. I'm sure PSG fans are doing the same. These problems are highlighted especially when things are not going perfectly for the team. That some fans can't see the value of their own valuable player doesn't mean that play is not indeed valuable, that's why fans are not in the boardroom making decisions, their fickleness is unmatched. I keep saying it, A jorginho in a Guardiola system would be fire. Much more than rodri is performing right now. Guardiola knows this which is why he chased him vociferously. |
timbros:I tire for that guy. All 3 European finals jorginho has been to, he made the team of the year and the guy is still talking rubbish. Europa league, champions league and Euros. |
pkasso:At this point, your bias shines through you. I should have spotted your disingenuity earlier. You masqueraded yourself as a neutral on this issue when you are obviously a hater. A hater who formulates and employs weak antics. Just look at that poor line of defense you employed, diminishing the value of Italian and German leagues to make your point. Just like people would say Messi is a tad overrated because he only performed in one league. So by your analogy, Buffon and chiellini are a bit overrated because they shone in only the Italian league? Is the Italian league not one of the top 4 football leagues in the world? Secondly is jorginho not also shining in his country?? Did he not just win a continental competition? What do you mean found out?? Was it not in EPL that jorginho also held passing records?? As for the coaches opinion. Of course we have our eyes and brain which we use to form opinions but it is foolhardy when your opinion goes contrary to that of elite professionals? If for example, I have a wound on my hand and 6 medical doctors inspect this wound and tell me it's not just a lesion but Cancerous, won't I be foolish to still have a contrary opinion? I might have read books about the skin but would it compare to the the experience and expertise of that elite professional? Mind you, every single opinion we have is an aggregation of other people's opinion. We have heard from multiple sources and pieced together our own. In other words, our opinions depends on our sources. As I said earlier,I'm tired of this argument,I won't be replying further. Go away with your bias and continue hating while the player is balling. You can only sulk and sulk. |
tng:Don't worry me sef don tire. I'm even doing jorginho a serious disservice because all these will just further put him under extreme microscoping. Every single pass highlighted, every run and sprint monitored, every mistake over-exaggerated. It's just tiring. I will just let the guy continue to do what he does best. I'm tired of this whole thing |
pkasso:Another poor logical thought pattern. I mentioned several elite managers who all value a player. The response is to start picking them off individually to show they are fallible. Of course they're fallible and they have all made mistakes individually in their careers but what are the odds that ALL of them combined together are wrong on this one player?? It would be foolhardy to throw away an opinion that is jointly held by the elite managers. Coaches who have played with jorginho have reaped success. I said jorginho has led his team to seven finals in 4 years and you screamed, which seven finals? Since jorginho came, Chelsea have played in 3 European finals, the Europa league final where jorginho made the team of the year. The champions league final where jorginho made the team of the year and the super cup final too. The Carling cup finals which Chelsea lost on penalties to mancity, the FA cup finals to arsenal and Leicester and then his Euros finals. How many is that?? Do also note that jorginho won the Italian domestic cup and their supercoppa Italia with Napoli before he came to Chelsea, also finishing in the league with 86 points and 91 points. Usually high enough to win leagues. Breaking individual records along the way. Also, About to play another Carling cup final. And club world cup final. I could go on and on, to elucidate how this is an elite player but you would only double down because nobody would ever want to drop pride and admit that just maybe they were wrong on this player. Just maybe they mis-characterized this player or judged him wrongly. Well, he simply doesn't care, vice captain of his club leading his team to glory and earning his accolades from those that matter. MEANWHILE, HATERS CAN ONLY HATE. |
The logic I am now seeing on this thread is very irritating. It's stomach churning. Someone said jorginho topped all those defensive metrics because he "played more matches". ![]() Did he fly into those final stages?? Why did other teams who also started the competition not enter the latter stages?? What about the opposing teams DM? Why didn't rice or kalvin Philips match the number? When it comes to horjtout leaking goals, it's a team effort, in order words, other teammates are to blame for the goals conceded, but when it gets to jorginho, it's the other way around. ![]() Jorginho personally topped some stats, essentially playing his own role effectively towards achieving the team's success. But we're hearing, he was "carried" by the goalkeeper. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. |
Jesus!!! Did I actually read that right. Some Chelsea fans think Tuchel parks the bus ![]() I swear I'm going to church next tomorrow. I'm now seeing too many weird things. ![]() Like we parked the bus all the way to winning our UCL?? |
See how you are jumping from pillar to post. We already know jorginho is a lord and master of passes. A new coach asks him to adapt his game better and he does this, improving tremendously in the defensive aspects of his game. Meaning he now knows both how to pass accurately which he has also done and improve in his tackling, ball recoveries and interceptions, all key traits of a "defensive" midfielder. Somehow rather than acknowledge that this midfielder is now well rounded and key to his team, it becomes a problem because you hate this player ![]() |
Wait so Ibime, Chelsea is now a bus parking team?? This Chelsea under tuchel looks like a bus parking team?? Wetin person no go hear for this thread? ![]() So we parked bus against on our way to the champions league?? Let me understand better. You've been criticizing jorginho for passes when we all know he is the lord of passing, now you've acknowledged that jorginho has even better evolved to add defensive aspects to his game that makes him an all rounder but somehow that's a problem?? Ibime, stand one place make the thunder know where him dey strike. |
Ibime you have continuously dodged my question, how did your mcm horjtout allow a mind boggling, flabbergasting, mesmerizing, befuddling SIXTY-SEVEN GOALS last season?? I swear if you talk say you dey praise hojberg infront of your coworker wey be Tottenham fan, him fit sama you better kpole for face. Abeg explain how your mcm take concede SIXTY-SEVEN goals last season? Na sleep him dey sleep for pitch? |
Europe doesn't do mago mago. You don't become the 3rd best player for no reason. You all may lie to yourselves as per hater things but the truth will always be the truth. Jorginho is a wonderful player and we are lucky to have him with us and not at mancity. Thank you Sarri for this.
|
Ibime:Ibime only God would judge you for denying his majestic creation his glory. ![]() Look below and see who you said was "carried" to his glories. Look well let your eyes feast on your enemy's successes. As I said , God will judge you. ![]()
|
BikeMan:Watch this artistic beauty that is jorginho and marvel. The very best there is. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ewBbMJAwaw
|
nihilistjnr:It's not a contentious question, but to answer it, Sarri won the Italian league and further more had 86 and 91 points respectively. Usually enough to win the league. Also I didn't say he was a UCL winner, I said "between them". That's all of them together having either leagues or UCL. Again, history shows how badly things go when we are on opposing sides so I prefer not to. |
nihilistjnr:Bros, I would really appreciate it we don't engage in a back and forth on opposing sides of an issue. History shows it never ends well. Biko. |
pkasso:This is ridiculous. Are you really saying that 5 world-class managers would ALL be wrong on their joint consensus on a player?? If the results were not matching, that would be another thing. But jorginho has played his role in leading his teams to SEVEN goddamn finals in 4 years. Again, SEVEN finals in 4 years. I was regarding you as a neutral intelligent observer, that's about to change. You are departing from logic. |
How do you argue passing against a player who holds the passing records in 2 different leagues?. no be ment? |
lordfalcao:Again, you do not need to stress yourself arguing about jorginho when it comes to passes. Jorginho made his name in football as the Lord of passing. Don't waste your breath on this.
|
popizaino:You have to ask yourself why your opinion would differ from more than 150 countries coaches and captains who voted jorginho as the 3rd best player. Why is your opinion counter to the norm? Just maybe you know jack squat about the game you watch. |
popizaino:You are as inconsequential as an ant on a football field. That's your answer. |
Ibime:Let Fred go and win European best player na. ![]() Let coaches and captains of more than 100 countries vote him as the best player na. ![]() I don't know if your aim is still to prove that Mourinho, Tuchel, Guardiola, Mancini, Sarri, ALL LEAGUE WINNING MANAGERS with multiple UCL between them are wrong while Ibime is right. ![]() You really want to convince people that on jorginho issue, you are right while these elite managers are wrong. Meanwhile all of them who played with jorginho actually won trophies. ![]() Furthermore, the brat who you Stan , horjtout is drinking goals like kunu but you want us to buy him when his own fans reject him. ![]() Nice jokes my brother. |
Ibime:What does age have to do with this? They are not much older than each other. The jet question is, was azpi a key player for Chelsea beginning of last season? You are just clutching at straws man. ![]() |
Ibime:Why does the date matter?? Is this not the same agent speaking?? Why should we choose to believe what he said based on date?? So I choose to believe that he's saying the truth here and he's lieing in yours. All negotiation tactics. |
|
lordfalcao:You really can't be arguing passing with anybody when it comes to jorginho. We all know he's a master of passing.
|
Amoto94:I'm truly not happy with you for calling me out. Sometimes you really do seem like a cool brilliant dude, other times you employ coy underhanded tactics that is befuddling. If you wanted to act as a mediator, why not sound out both parties? Why select one over the order? It's really terrible of you. |
Ibime:Beginning of last season, was ceazer azpi not key for Chelsea? |
If course, speculations and speculations. Here we have his agent saying marina has sat down for contract talks between both. As I said. Speculations galore. What does all these have to do with jorginho being an essential player to all his coaches. Swallow your LLLL's in peace. Sarri values him. Mourinho values him, Mancini values him, Guardiola values him, Tuchel values him. He is currently the European best player. All, top coaches forming a consensus about the player. Why should I care what some random dude has to say about him online?
|
Ibime:Both of us have no right to be arguing about contracts because we know nothing of what exactly is going on there. We know that both parties can sometimes use the media to exaggerate points. Fabrizio has said contract negotiations are ongoing. Who knows they may reach an agreement in the summer. I once read an article that linked Barcelona to jorginho in this coming Summer. It's all called transfer RUMOR for a reason. What matters is that jorginho still has 18 months with us and he has been very vital to his coaches There shouldn't be a sense of urgency at this time.
|
I don't know why we're discussing contracts when jorginho still has 18 months to go. It's not as if our board has been known to be excellent in contract negotiations. We currently have 4 key players whose contract runs in 5 months time. So we can't clearly use contract talks as an indication of anything, SEEING AS WE'RE NOT PRESENT THERE TO KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING. All we can do is speculate and speculate, which is why on my part I'll show you "reports" showing that both parties are negotiating an extension. But again, all these is just deflection to take away from the excellent performances of the European best player of the year. ![]()
|
raumdeuter:Ibime would say anything to discountenance jorginho. Imagine that Italy had the bulk of possession in all but one match, he then capitalizes on that one match, conveniently forgetting the rest. ![]() Agenda must agend. ![]() Meanwhile, Tottenham fans absolutely hate his mcm horjtout who has failed in protecting his defense. ![]() |
