Dapo Abiodun just started the construction of Abeokuta-Ifo-Ota federal highway, the road is 81km long and will be completed within 18 month.

Umahi seeks synergy with states on federal road project delivery

David Umahi
The minister of works, David Umahi, has emphasised the need for synchronized strategic action plans across all government levels to address the accumulated road infrastructure challenges in Nigeria.

The minister, while on a project tour of some ongoing federal road projects along the Aba axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, said such synergy is crucial for enhancing commercial activities and catalyzing local economic growth.

Received by Abia state governor, Alex Otti, Umahi said that the collaboration would also signify the self-actualization of the enterprising people of Abia State

It is a Federal road and I can remember the Minister of Works Dave Umahi saying that works on many Federal roads will be stopped and audited

You are the kid here, Osisioma town, is Teaching Hospital in Osisioma town... there's no place called Osisioma in Abia State. Osisioma is a local government. What we have is Osisioma junction where the flyover is, and there is no flood there

Everything is not about hatred, road is flooded and that is the truth, I am just raising awareness.

Even inn Rivers state here, a radio station every evening always talk which road is filled with traffic and how motorists could avoid that road, and it's a very interesting programme, nobody calls it hatred.

Even the Akwete road to Azumini/Opobo that you said is bad that two big motor fall there, is a Federal road, the money for the road was embezzled by Senator Adolphus Wabara, former Senate President, he is from Ukwa East.
