You are making sense. People will not let me be. They are all saying I should buy gas and start cooking. I don't like the stress of cooking. I like fresh food. I like varieties. If I want to buy food at all, I will buy rice and beans in bulk, then perhaps spaghetti and noodles. Who get time to dey cook soup?. Na jollof everything I go dey eat.

In some developed countries cooking at home saves you some money. But if you're the type that's serious to make money, the type combing two or three jobs, you will do away with the idea.

Now in Nigeria or other parts or Africa, it's cheaper to eat out, in Restaurants. It saves you time, I keeps you single/double bed apartment clean. There are no fixed prices of foodstuffs, condiments, cooking gas or kerosene. They keep on rising. You will hear there's war so so and so place and they have stopped bring yams or beans down this so and so area. One area will ban a particular livestock product, the list goes on. All you have to do is to walk in to a nice and neat restaurant, have you meal and leave.
Then the way things are going, girls are desperate for marriage and for relationship with rich and promising guys, a random girl, you took home may poison your food in the name of helping you cook. She may even get a love or control charm from a voodoo store or shrine to influence you. When she sees that you don't even cook at home, her chances of poisoning you is limited.

Your are woke man. When you are in a new area, eating out will help you know what's going on. You meet new people, even the spot you normally go to eat, they can help you solve some problems, give you some guidelines.

You will hear something like: "I have a customer that is good in that area, he comes to eat by afternoon, I will get his contact or you drop yours"

Eating out anyday, anytime especially restaurant, as long as you are single. Just have a gas stove handy just for hot water, in case you need a cup of coffee or to have warm baths in areas with epileptic power supply.

Also when you do your cooking and you go belly- up, you may struggle to feed well. But if you are an established customer that's a regular customer. You may Walk up to your favourite restaurant discuss with them, offer them some sort of assurance or go with a worthy guarantor. They will keep giving you food until the duration you both agreed elapsed, then you pay off.

Many guys do that. And these restaurants are sometimes cool with such idea, as they see it as you are helping them save some money

You are relaxed where you are. You can go on a night out and sleep over there without this thought of " my soup at home is gonna spoil or turn sour"
Others are catching fun, you're thinking of the amount you spent on the lonely food at home.

You start off home very late in the evening just to rescue a sour-bound soup and then run into security agencies or bad gangs. You end up putting yourself at risk

Enugu people are the one of the only few wise and visionary Igbos.
Though proudly Igbos, they are not tribalistic and religion does not enter their head. A typical Enugu man will not care if you are Igbo or Yoruba, Christian or Muslim unless you openly offend him or try to take something from him.
