Lagos that was created in 1967? Even Ikeja and other majorities weren't part of Lagos until it was created in 1967. That was when Ikeja and other parts were added. As a matter of fact, the person who started the urbanism of Lagos was Awolowo who was overseeing Ikeja and several part of Lagos together with the western areas. Awolowo constructed over 300 roads in Lagos, built UNILAG, built first housing estates in Nigeria, schools and made several reforms, first TV in West Africa etc.

Then Jakande came in and built LASU, continued with the construction of roads and housing estates, built Lagos broadcasting media and pipe borne water.

Tinubu came in and improved Lagos revenue from millions to billions. Continued with LASU by building LASU clinical school and teaching hospital, built millennium schools, housing estates, roads, BRT, Lekki trade zone, LASTMA, Lekki seaport and made several reforms..


Federal government did nothing in Lagos apart from airport, roads and few government Houses.
