Startling revelations have emerged on how the Acting Chairman of EFCC is gradually destroying the anti graft agency.

A top official of the agency (identity protected) disclosed that Magu is running the EFCC as his private business, without regard to transparency and the law.
According to him, the Acting Chairman is not only high handed but has been suppressing staff who oppose his style of leadership.

He also accused Magu of showing extreme incompetence in handling the agency's operations, citing the recent botched attempt to arrest former Directors General of the NIA and DSS.

The EFCC official expressed disappointment that Magu, is not aware of provisions of the SSS Instrument No 1 of 1999, which outlaws any external audit of the finances of the DSS. He regretted the embarrassment such ignorance of the law by Magu has caused the agency.

Speaking further, the top official disclosed that he (Magu) will soon order the arrest of some legislators and prominent General Overseers of some churches, whom he believe are opposed to confirmation of his appointment.

Also, Magu, according to the top official of the EFCC use some staff of the agency as errand boys and proxies in collaboration with some staff of the Federal High Court and some banks, to confiscate and siphone recovered looted funds into his private pocket. He claimed to have documents and audio recordings to prove his assertion at the appropriate time.

According to him, Magu's involvement in re- looting recovered stolen funds made him unable to convincingly respond to questions during the public hearing on the Mainagate by the House of Representatives.

According to him,

'With Magu still in charge, the war against corruption will be frustrated because you cannot use an incompetent and corrupt person to fight corruption successfully'.


He alluded to the failure of the agency to record conviction in most of its cases as evidence of Magu's infamous reign at the agency.

As more facts continue to surface on Magu's below par performance and questionable credibility, Nigerians keep expressing their doubt on the suitability of Magu for the EFCC top job.

Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, a one time former vice president of Nigeria, is dead.

A statement from his family signed by his brother and the traditional ruler of Oko in Anambra State, Igwe Laz Ekwueme said that he died by 10:00 pm in a London clinic, Sunday.

The statement read: “Ekwueme family regrets to announce the peaceful passing away of their patriarch, the former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON.

“The sad event occurred at the London Clinic at 10:00 pm on Sunday 19th November 2017.”

Rest in peace Dr.

An invigilator could be a staff, or an external body that oversees and ensures that exams are written in a conducive environment that will give students, ample opportunity to focus on their works and also militate against examination malpractice.

Dissemination of rules and regulations as regards the conduct of an examination is one of the responsibilities of an exam invigilator.

Enforcement of such rules is equally one of them.

Now, an invigilator is not just there to monitor and prevent a student from cheating during exams. It is rather horrifying to note that invigilators have turned themselves into wolves and lions and as a result, students no longer see them as their guide, but a nightmare!

I am very much concerned because we are leaving untouched, one of the key factors responsible for examination failures, especially in Nigerian tertiary institutions and which has gone a long way to encouraging what we call ‘sorting’

Examination rooms or classes are supposed to be conducive enough so as to enhance students’ ability to focus completely on their work. That is why notes like “Exam In Progress, No Noise’ are usually pasted on the doors, walls and other strategic positions informing people that absolute silence is needed in that very environment.

Unfortunately, those who make these laws are the ones who break them.

I have been in an exam hall where I nearly raised the class on an invigilator who kept screaming at one student after another, and succeeded in distracting everyone. Luckily, the H.O.D was around and the lecturer was sent away from the class.

Students are issued out codes of conduct in an exam hall, but lecturers and invigilators are not issued same in an exam. Is this right? Does an invigilator have the right to distract you in your own exams? Does a lecturer have the right to slap you in an exam? Does a lecturer have the right to scream, discuss with other lecturers, make and answer phone calls, laugh and sing inside an exam hall?

These attitudes by Nigerian lecturers have become a nightmare which unknowingly, is a key contributory factor to series of examination failures.

Invigilators are supposed to guide and put students through when they encounter challenges during an exam. Students should be at ease and should feel comfortable beckoning on you for assistance when the need arises.

How can a student recall and put down correctly what he or she was taught, when the invigilator’s screaming keeps ringing in their heads? Whoever performs well in this condition?

How can you pass your exams when you keep hearing invigilators discussing about how they made merry and danced last night in the club and how he managed to wake and all what not? How will you perform well when your attention is divided?

Please, whoever buys this idea, should share this. Lecturers and invigilators need to be issued codes of conduct in an exam room.

Few days ago, I found myself struggling to counsel a young lady about relationships. I was very blunt with her. Despite the fact I knew I did not qualify to counsel anyone on relationships, everyone knows the truth. We just find it difficult to stick to. Too unfortunate.

Just like Jimoore would say, people go into relationships for various reasons. Some for pecuniary motives, while others seek emotional comfort and stability. In this context, we are talking about companionship which is what everyone desire.

I made a recent observation amongst young ladies and I discovered that majority of our women go into relationships hoping that sooner or later, they might settle down with the man. Personally speaking, I think that is a very wrong notion about what relationships should be.

Okay, lets do it this way.

In a relationship, in as much as there are frictions, and misunderstandings amongst partners, emotional stability and character modification cannot be ruled out. Smiles are created, beautiful memories are built, there is an exchange of behavioral attributes and all these form a thick cloud of experience which impacts on the individual’s futuristic pursuits.

But due to the erroneous impression our young ladies already have about relationships as regards marriage like we mentioned earlier, they get stuck in a relationship, eating shit, and enduring humiliations, forgetting that life is a learning process. The longer and wider we live, the greater will be our experience.

However, one very salient point is the ability to accept to be corrected…in a relationship. Yeah..its obvious we come from different backgrounds, academically, religiously and mentally, but in a relationship, two persons who have chosen to be together, are involved. As a result, there should be what I call complimenting my compliments. Here, you are to acknowledge whatever I bring on board, but still, it is your responsibility to correct me if I am wrong. Just teach me the right way.

Now, the teaching might not be the problem. I am about to mention two critical issues that cause problems in a relationship.

Number one is how we correct our partners. And the second is, how do we react to corrections?

People feel that because they are merely in a relationship, and not married, especially the women, men should not correct them. They think that there is much difference between relationships and marriages?

Dearies, all I am trying to say is that nobody should stay away from relationships. Relationship is life. Its a huge window of learning opportunities. Its yet another avenue for mental building and appreciation.

You can’t just be there. You can’t just lock yourself in there brooding and mourning over past relationships thinking that it all lies there. Is it not crystal clear you are having a mental problem? How could you think of going back because he is supposed to marry you? What you should do is to learn from the experiences you have gathered then become a better person.

You need someone to confide in. You need someone to cry on his shoulders and share your joys with. You need to keep going. You need to free yourself and embrace people. Expose yourself to knowledge, and become a force to reckon with. Go out there and mingle.

Man Dedicates Lovely Poem To Nigerian Unity And Peace - 'I See Myself In My Neighbour'

Nigeria is one big, strong and prosperous family. Nigeria is our home and we see ourselves as brothers, not as people from different ethnic groups and languages.

Our future is bright. The future of Nigeria scare other nations of the world. Our tomorrow send cold shivers down the spines of our enemies, hence the underground fight to divide and make us powerless.

We have so soon forgotten how strong we could be despite our various ethnic diversities and cultural differences. In fact, these make us unique, unique in the world!

Haven seen these beautiful potentials, people like Nnamdi Kanu and his fellow separatist agitators, who are being used by our enemies to perpetrate crimes, incite brothers against brothers, and bring about a state of lawlessness, have delved into action; but this Nigerian intellectual, Sampson Okafor thinks we should be reminded who we are.

Faded Nigerian hip hop singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, was born Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja to a polygamous family in Kano, Nigeria. His father was from Ilesha, Osun State, and his mother was from Ogun State.

Eedris was raised in Kano, and therefore, he adopted Kano State as his state of origin.

In 2004 Abdulkareem released his third album Jaga Jaga, a Yoruba term for a shambles, declaiming corruption and suffering in Nigeria. The title track was banned from radio by President Olusegun Obasanjo and from here, began the fall of Eedris.

Eedris insulted his fatherland. According the former president, Eedris hated the country and should not be allowed to amass followers dancing to the tunes of his divisive, lawlessness oriented belief about the country.

And to make you and I believe that even if Nigeria is bad today, it shall be good tomorrow.

All Baba had in mind was for us to believe in our fatherland, despite the challenges. He wanted to discourage negative and pessimistic statements as they are capable of distracting the government, heating up the polity and breeding disunity. He wanted to discourage hate sppech.

This was what Eedris never understood. Or better still, he was engulfed in his negative impression and lyrical presentations that seek to do nothing but incite lawlessness and disbelief in our Fatherland, Nigeria.

And Eedris fell!.

And in reference to Eedris’ 2004 ‘Jaga Jaga’ track, on 28th August, 2012, at a leadership forum , former president Olusegun Obasanjo reportedly asked how a sane person could call Nigeria 'jagajaga'.

Eedris didn’t relent. He took to his twitter handle to reply Baba…

"It is obvious that Obasanjo can't do without me. I am his joy therapy. Mr ex-president, Nigeria still dey 'jagajaga'. Infact, 'worst pass jagajaga'.

"President Obasanjo, if you truly love [President] Goodluck as you claimed, why don't you talk to your fellow Boko Haram member to let Goodluck rule in peace?

"Watch out for my new single 'Obasanjo na my friend'. hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

"Mr ex-president, I heard you were talking about me in your last interview. Hahahahahhahah, it's obvious you can't do without me. You are my 'mugu'.

"Obasanjo 'na my mugu oooo'. 'Na jeje I dey, you dey look for trouble oooo'. Hahahahahhahahahahhahahah.

"Obasanjo, thank you for making me a star. Infact, talk more about me. I am inspired.

Fast forward to 2017, where is Eedris Abdulkareem, the ‘Jaga jaga’ crooner, who thinks that insulting the country, inciting our youths towards a state of lawlessness and insulting the president of the country, will bring him fame?

Listen, you don’t become famous by insulting your father! You don’t become famous by being filled with negativity and pessimism!

You become famous when you abide by laid down regulations, do good to people around you, abide by the dictates of a constituted authority and preach love, not hate.

Fame, is one that has visited many Nigerian artistes, but none had to insult their father before they became famous.

Atleast, I know 2face!

And for you out there, I want you to know that you are part of the government. Whatever actions you take will either negatively or otherwise, affect the unity of the country.

People like Eedris Abdulkareem who go about preaching, hate, division and lawlessness should not be called brothers, for they have sold their souls to our enemies, enemies of Nigeria.

My enemy!

I know many enemies of Nigeria. Number one is Eadris Abdulkareem, who has been ‘jagadized’ by his inciting and divisively initiated ‘jagajaga’ rendition.

The only solution to his useless life is to come back, apologise to Nigerians for insulting us, then go apologise to Baba. Else, he will remain like that till thine kingdom come! Hahaha

Brothers, obviously, its boiling hot right now. But, do not forget that precious stones suffer the most precarious past. They pass through fire, heat, suffocation, burns, scratches, and what have you. Whatever bad thing you can think of. But at the end, it stands high above everything, everybody, every nation!

I visited my sister and her family this Sunday evening.

I was prepared for the fight. I am talking about this my very stubborn niece of mine. She no dey carry eye see person! I usually go there clean and return home confused and with pockets full of sand, dirt all over me and not without a slight headache! Lol!

Hence, I prepare very well before I embark on such visits. God knows nothing will carry me to that house except my elder sister comes with those her…you don forget us now..you don’t miss us at all..Busky, na wa for you ooo…..bla bla bla bla bla……..

I made sure I wore nothing light in case of tears. I wore a jean jacket over another jean trouser, all thick, and rugged!

The house was unusually quiet that evening. My sister was on her PC. Her hubby was away. There was no light and everywhere was cold and quiet except for a tiny voice filtering from the kitchen. I tip-toed into the kitchen, only to see this tiny stubborn niece of mine standing on a side chair, holding unto a long spoon which she was using as microphone.




I asked her what she was reciting and she was like…

“Heyyy (jumping down from the chair and with a hug), good evening Uncle. I saw this diary in our room. Please uncle, explain them for me!” I was confused.

I collected the book and guess what she was reciting…

Following the brutal killing of some innocent worshipers at St Philip's Catholic Church in Ozubulu, Anambra State by some unknown gunmen, Nigerian Actress, April Joju Muse has revealed that it was meant to happen.

According to the Actress who says she doesn't believe in the existence of God, 'prayer is not a guarantee of special favour or blessings' She also retorted that even as priests of God, they didn't foresee the shooting which took the lives of 11 innocent worshipers.

This younger brother to Hushpuppi, was caught in Asaba, Delta State where heallegedly stole a Gucci shirt and a pair of slippers.

According to reports, the young man revealed that he envied Hushpuppi so much and cant wait to be like him. He equally disclosed that that all he wanted to do with the shirt is to strike a pose and upload online.

But unfortunately for him, that day was for the owner...not for the thief!

It was one small step for security technology, but one giant leap in the wrong direction for robotkind.

A security robot in Washington, D.C. -- lovingly named Steve -- plunged down four steps into a fountain Monday. Steve had just started patrolling the Washington Harbour, a riverside complex in Georgetown with restaurants and offices, last week.

The Washington Harbour and its real estate developer, MRP Realty, introduced the robot on Facebook on July 12. Steve was still getting used to the streets he was programmed to protect. He was "mapping out the grounds" to theoretically prevent this kind of accident.

"This initial phase is our opportunity to implement, vet, and remediate any bugs in the system to help advance both the programming and security features in a busy mixed-use center such as The Washington Harbour," an MRP spokesperson wrote in a statement to CNN.

"These incidents show us where improvements are needed, which may then be deployed to contribute to the ongoing security of our tenants, residents, and visitors."

Even though Steve had only been rolling around for a few days, he already made some new friends. "He looked so happy and healthy," one mourner remembered on Twitter. And for some, Steve's unfortunate swim was a victory for humans fighting against the robot uprising.

A company called Knightscope produces Autonomous Data Machines like Steve.

According to the company's website, the ADMs use multiple sensors to detect their location and "carefully navigate" the right path. And while Steve was "ruggedized and protected against vandalism," it doesn't seem like those same protections would save the robot from any water damage. And this isn't the first time a security robot has run into trouble.

In April, a drunken man in California tipped over a 300-pound Knightscope ADM. Last summer, another one in California knocked over a toddler. There's no word yet if Steve survived his unprecedented dip in the fountain. Luckily, no one was injured -- except for Steve!

Controversial Nigerian self acclaimed billionaire, Ray Hushpuppi don't seem bothered about what people think and say about him.

Recall that few weeks ago, he was enmeshed in multiple 'beefs' with Phyno, Ice Prince which Zoro Swagbag later 'bought over'

In fact, Zoro had threatened to attack Hushpuppi if he ever steps a foot in the South Eastern part of the country. And from what followed afterwards, like the cancellation of his scheduled pool party in Anambra and the urgency with which he traveled to Dubai, hmmm, well, we cant help but conclude that Zoro scared the hell outta him and...HE FLED to Dubai!!

And in Dubai, he bought and pocketed a mall! Not just that, he had a chauffeur as take away gift. Lol!!

"Buy up the mall n leave with a chauffeur!!"

VIDEO Of Petrol Tanker Driver Cooking Inside The Tanker Goes Viral!

The driver of a tanker conveying Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as fuel was caught on camera cooking just in between the driver and passenger compartment of the truck.

This video has attracted wide condemnation from members of the public who alluded this as one act which is capable of causing tanker explosion.

While others are of the view that it might also be partly responsible for series of tanker explosions we have been having in Nigeria.

A female Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Official was caught on camera struggling for the control of a moving car with the driver on.

The footage shared on Facebook shows the female road safety officer trying to gain control from the back seat.

The 1.21″ video footage ends when a male road safety officer alighted from one of the corps’ van and breaks the cars windscreen.

The ceremonies have ended. The husband Mr. Oladipupo Dabiri; (son of former House of Representatives member and Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Nigerians in Diaspora, Abike Dabiri – Erewa ) has taken his wife Ayomide Amosun home but the Ooni of ife left that venue without his precious phone....

Interestingly, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi would never forget the event in a long time. Ooni had undiluted fun, no doubt. But the fun was cut short when someone stole his mobile phone and that of his friend, Jide Fadairo. Ooni was more angry.

His boys were devastated. They wept and wailed like banshee. Nothing happened.

He has reportedly gotten a replacement. What a shame!

One Facebook user, Onyeozi Chukwunonso Obijiofor Nwolisa has done what most people see as the most abominable after saying on Facebook that he valued his sacrificial items such as goats, fowls, etc more than Jesus!

In the post which has gone rather viral, Chukwunonso, meaning God is near, disclosed that he does not believe in the so called sacrifice by a white man on the cross.

He further revealed that he prefers doing it his own way as he attaches much value to what he does his own way, the traditional way with the use of his goats and other items, than Jesus!

See what he wrote:

"I do all my sacrifice. No white man do it for me on the cross. So stop deceiving yourself. I valued this things here than Jesus"

The above post have attracted condemnations from many Facebook users. Others see it as blasphemy and therefore cautioned him to desist from making such statements against Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Evans, the notorious kidnapper who was clamped down by the Nigeria Police Force about two weeks ago, seem to be blowing real hot when he is expected to be cooling his heels behind bars.

The notorious kidnapper made known to newsmen that most victims of his escapades are people who flaunt their wealth recklessly forgetting that people out there on the streets are suffering.

Evans also said that since this Phyno vs Hushpuppi beef went viral on the net, he began regretting why he did not kidnapped him(Hushpuppi) before his arrest.

He however sent out messages to his boys to do the needful.

I just think Flamboyant Hushpuppi should be more careful. His display of wealth even worries me.

Thank God for Phyno who washed him down the drains like dirty water.

Please, all i'm saying is that we should cease this uncontrolled and flagrant display of wealth. Just like the Bible talks about fornication or adultery in the Book of Matthew 5:28(New International Version)

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart"

This is where many men will blame women who go about exposing their bodies to the world. And why do you think incidences of rape will not cease.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Thursday announced that it had concluded arrangements for its supplementary 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Dr Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head, Media and Information, stated this in an interview with newsmen.

According to him, the examination which will hold July 1, is to give candidates with issues of late registration and others opportunity to write the exams.

“The board is using the opportunity to charge affected candidates for the rescheduled examination not to panic, as text messages will be sent to their telephones, with which they used in registering for the examination, to the effect of their qualification.

“There is really nothing to be afraid of or worried about. To this effect therefore, they should be expecting such notification before 12 midnight of Thursday, June 15.

“Messages will also be sent to their e-mail addresses. Their profile will also contain the information as it had been updated.

“In the same vein, all candidates whose results had been cancelled outrightly following their involvement in examination irregularities will also be notified through their e-mails, text messages as well as their profiles.

“This set of candidates is not eligible for the supplementary examination,” Benjamin said.

He added that candidates for the rescheduled examination, will also be notified on the date and venue on or before Monday, June 19.
