RomancePlease Help, I Am Looking For Blessing Bartholomew, My First Love. by donmayorgroup(op): 4:59pm On Oct 03, 2016
A very good friend of mine, Eze Ebuka met me last night at our usual rendezvous and while helping ourselves with some drinks, and chatting, he brought up an issue. Ebuka asked me to use this medium to help him reach an old friend.

Read what he said below.

My name is Eze Ebuka. I schooled at Ajangbadi High School, Lagos State between 2002 and 2007. When I was in JSS 1, I met this young beautiful girl, Blessing Bartholomew. At that tender age, I had genuine feelings for Blessing. I love her!

How they met

The first day I stepped into the JSS1A class, I was given a seat behind a group of girls who were always chatting and laughing. After about one week of loneliness, I observed one beautiful girl whose voice was always above others. She argued intelligently and was willing to defend her point even to the point of fight. This actually drew my attention. I fell in love with this girl!

For about two days, I thought of a way to initiate a cool conversation with Blessing but it always proved difficult because she never looked my way.

Then one beautiful morning before the morning class, she was arguing with her closest friend, Theresa Anyanwu and I interrupted. I opposed her, telling her that she was wrong. At that point, she turned and looked at me with a cute smile on her face. Then the argument between me and her become really hot to the extent that we didn't know when the class teacher entered and we were made to kneel throughout the class! This was how it all started.

After the class, I apologized to her amidst cheers and jeers from our classmates. She understood. From that day onwards, my thoughts and life revolved around Blessing. She was all I thought about. Each time I come to school and she is not there, I would fall sick especially after standing at the window hoping that she will run through the gate...and it all flopped.

We played and ate together during the break time. She was a lively company to be with and her friend, Theresa, made it all beautiful.they And.... This continued for about 8 months until, Blessing disappeared! I asked about her for years but no one knew her whereabouts.

When I got to JSS 3, I relinquished my position as the Labour prefect and left the school.

Till date, I am still searching for Blessing. After so many unsuccessful searches online, I searched for her friend, Theresa Anyanwu and found her on Facebook. But, all hopes were dashed again when she told me that the last time she saw Blessing, they didn't exchange contacts and since then, they have not met again.

Meanwhile, she told me that Blessing also bears Chioma. I am searching and and searching. I have fallen in love severally, and through them all, I have never forgotten about Blessing. I know she may be married by now(I just hope not) But, I just wish to see her. I want to meet with Blessing. I want to meet the first love of my life. I miss her.

I miss you Blessing.

Please, I need you all to help me look for her. She means the world to me. Each time I see Nkiru Sylvanus, I see Blessing. She looks like Blessing.

Please if you have any information about Blessing, Contact Us>>>michaelbusky@gmail.com

Thanks

CareerIfeanyi, The Physically Challenged Mechanic In Abakaliki (Photos, Video) by donmayorgroup(op): 1:42pm On Sep 29, 2016
This is Ifeanyi Nwifuru from Ozibo in Izzi LGA of Ebonyi State. Ifeanyi has been the one fixing my generating set for the past three years. Apart from doing his job perfectly well, Ifeanyi is even more unique because he is physically disabled. It gives me special joy each time I head to Ogbaga road, just at Igweja junction to fix my generator because I am going there to meet a man who has not let his physical disability to pull him back from his dreams.

Ifeanyi has a problem with one of his legs and as a result, he walks with the help of a stick. He hops about his shop, lifts huge generators and rides his bike!! In fact, Iifeanyi’s right hand is so strong that he uses it to ‘kick start’ his bike!! Isn’t this surprising?

Ifeanyi has no degree certificate, Ifeanyi has no mentors, god fathers nor political connections, but he is working, making his money and taking care of his family.
Ifeanyi has about four young apprentices under him, learning the mechanic work. He believes that you don’t need Government to survive. He believes that the ability to survive and live a fulfilled life, lies solely on YOU.

So, it’s time to come out from that bed. It’s time to keep aside those certificates of yours. Everyone’s got talents and skills. You just need to look inward to discover what you are good at. You don’t need huge sums of money to start. You don’t need millions of Naira to begin that small project of yours. What you need, the only thing you need is DETERMINATION!

Even as I allow you to watch this short video clip, I’d love to tell you that disability is not a thing of the body. Disability is not physical. It’s a thing of the mind. Once you disable your mind, your entire life, both spiritually and physically is disabled!

If you still fail in life after watching this video, then your problem is not just spiritual, but you are cursed! I am sorry to have use that word.

There is ability in disability!

PoliticsSee The Road Leading To Ugbene Ajima, Enugu State!! by donmayorgroup(op): 12:07pm On Sep 24, 2016
See The Road Leading To Ugbene Ajima, Enugu State!!

I have written several articles on this blog decrying the state of neglect and perpetual shame Ugbene Ajima has been subjected.

It's most unfortunate that even as these people languish in shame and neglect, their leaders, representatives and the Enugu State Government is pretending to have not seen their plight.

THE FORGOTTEN COMMUNITY

Ugbene Ajima is a community in Uzo Uwani LGA, Enugu State. Over the years, they have endured hardship and its like they are just left to their fate.

They have no good access roads, no drinking water. Their schools are in a great state of disrepair and even as the elections approach, bells and screams of vote seekers will permeate through the overshadowing bushes and hills which have blocked them access to network connectivity…and still they don’t hesitate to perform their constitutional obligations.

Please, I want to use this medium to call on the leaders, the Member(s), representing Enugu North in the National Assembly and Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Gburugburu, to come to their aide.

These people are tired of swimming through floods of water to get to their hamlets.

They are tired of ferrying their loved ones to the hospitals as they continuously fall into ditches.

They are tired of falling off hills in the name of searching for networks to reach their brothers and sisters.

We need your help.

HealthMichael Doo: I Think I Am Orally Fixated!! - What Is Oral Fixation? by donmayorgroup(op): 2:04pm On Sep 16, 2016
Have you ever experienced a period in your life when you always want something inside your mouth? Or that desire to keep your mouth always occupied with something? If you do, have you ever been worried that you would no longer be able to stop that desire? Did you have that thought to visit your doctors to know what was happening to you?

In each thing that people do, there is always that certain explanation that tells why people do it. As for the case mentioned above, psychologists call it as oral fixation.

What is Oral Fixation?

It is defined as an oral condition that involves a person having that unconscious obsession with his mouth. Along with that, the person also feels that need to suck or chew on something all the time. It is an oral condition that has a chance of leading to nail biting and other related habits along with excessive cock-gobbling.

Considering children, most of them are undergoing the oral fixation stage, which occurs from ages four to eight months. Thus, if you are experiencing the same desire and obsession, you already know what it is called. This oral condition can involve a wide range of things including gum, straw, toothpick, cigarette and anything that would make the mouth occupied.

Oral Fixation Psychology:

The Simple Explanation The habit was not about being or feeling hungry. They just feel much comfortable whenever they are watching something while nibbling or chewing on something.

In the end, the desire to put something on the mouth becomes an outlet for something like nervous energy.

Oral Fixation Psychology: Based on the Freudian Theory

The oral fixation psychology is explained by Sigmund Freud as something related to a person’s childhood experience. He also believed that it has something to do with breastfeeding.

According to him, the condition is developed because of the traumatic experience a person had during childhood. As for its connection to breastfeeding, Freud theorized that how a person sees the world once grown up has something do with how they are or are not breastfed.

In his psychosexual development stages, the oral stage lasts for about one year and half. It is this time when kids are preoccupied with sucking, nursing and also accepting anything placed in one’s mouth. The oral character can either be satisfied, overindulged or frustrated.

As an overindulged child, nursing urges are typically always met. Thus, it leaves them with personality traits that are unpleasant like being dependent on others, helplessness and sense of entitlement. As for the babies who are orally frustrated, their nursing period was either cut short or they were not nursed at all.

Hence, these babies become envious, suspicious, pessimistic and the one exhibiting the symptoms of oral fixation. That theory has now provided several evidence and statements coming from other doctors. Thus, as a simple fact about the oral fixation psychology, it is linked to being deprived during the oral stage. This condition may involve almost anything being placed in the mouth.

Thus, whatever that thing is, when the usage gets out of control, it will lead to harming one’s health.

COMING UP NEXT:

Now, what is the way out?

PoliticsNigerians Eat Too Much Rice, That’s Why It Is Expensive!! – Audu Ogbeh by donmayorgroup(op): 3:13am On Sep 15, 2016
Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, on Wednesday in Abuja said Nigerian businessmen demanded 2.5 billion dollars (about N492 billion) a week for importation of goods and services into the country.

Ogbeh made this known in a meeting with officials of VICAMPRO, an indigenous Agro Company investing in production of Irish Potato on Wednesday in Abuja. He said that the ministry was willing to support local investors with capacity to produce goods and save the country’s foreign exchange.

He said that the consumption of rice in the country was rising and that a lot of people were not aware that the rice had some degree of arsenic.

The minister said that consuming rice in large quantity on a regular basis was a bit of health risk, adding that substituting it with potato would be welcomed development.

“The volume of importation of virtually everything into this country is too much.

“The demand for dollars in this country as at today is 2.5 billion a week; this is the quantum of dollars Nigerians are asking for to import things.

“Since 1986, we began this habit of importing everything and doing virtually nothing at home to sustain ourselves; now, we do not have the dollars and people are very hungry.

“This day was coming anyway, no matter who was in power; we have the most ridiculous method of devaluing our currency; every week, we auction the dollar and naira goes up.

“We sat and were hoping that by devaluation, we are going to arrive at Eldorado; if we continue like this, it will be a thousand naira to a dollar,’’ he said.

While commending the investor, Ogbeh said that any private sector effort that would develop local production of goods would be fully supported by the ministry.

“We should aggressively take the West African market; there is no reason why we should allow Irish potato from Ireland and France and Belgium into West Africa; it is the same story with onions. Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of VICAMPRO, Mr Michael Agbogo, said that potato could bring value worth over one trillion naira annually if properly harnessed.

He said that potato was the fourth most important crop in the world and that a barrel of oil was an equivalent of 14 kilogrammes of potatoes. According to Agbogo, while current price of crude oil will fetch the country about N16,000 per barrel, the equivalent in potato will fetch the country N39,000.

He said that in terms of value, potato had three times the value of crude oil, adding that it was a huge industry the country could get into.

Agbogo said that Egypt and Algeria were the leading potato producing countries in Africa, with Egypt producing four million tonnes annually from about 100,000 hectares of land.

He said that Nigeria, which had close to 500,000 hectares, was struggling to produce one million tonnes of potato per annum.

Christianity EtcThe Church, Its Schools And The Fees By Imaobong Akpan by donmayorgroup(op): 4:32am On Sep 12, 2016
Following the controversial statement credited to Prince Eke, the Nigerian actor who spoke about Church owned schools and the inability of the poor to get admitted in these schools, my very good friend and a great scholar, Imaobong Akpan took to her Facebook page to ‘create a balance’ on the issue. People’s orientation towards a particular issue is changed when people like this step in to clarify them. She is indeed a genius.

See what she wrote below:

Some Churches are currently under heavy criticism for building schools that members can't afford. What's the morality in that? Is it Right or Wrong? I can't speak for any organization but I can spare my thoughts on this...

First, let's differentiate between The Church as the entire Members of Christendom irrespective of which group or region, and the churches that are denominations registered as corporate organizations and recognized by the law as such. I'm aware, though not a staff of any church, that some pastors are on a payroll like any other staff working in the 'vineyard', irrespective of whether they founded the church or not.

It's worthy to note also that a large chunk of what you see as the pastors' wealth is mostly from the benevolence of both members or outsiders who feel 'blessed' by them. Added to our culture of 'sowing' into the lives of spiritual leaders, a gesture totally of freewill.

These gifts comes in diverse ways, cash, cars, houses etc. As humans on this earth, I do think that pastors are at liberty to decide what to do with their resources, and by virtue of their position they end up carrying burdens of uncountable needy people (Stories that Newspapers won't carry). Some schools affiliated with churches are actually owned by the pastors as...

We Want Fridays Declared Work-Free For Muslims Like Sundays – MURIC Director, Akintola
The Director of Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, Ishaq Akintola, has called for ‘fair treatment’ between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.

The professor of Islamic Eschatology said Nigeria is not a secular state as according to him, it does not recognize religion.

In a chat with the Punch, Akintola said, “I still insist Nigeria is not a secular state. It does not recognise any religion at all. An example is the Sallah holidays. Although Christians used to enjoy Christmas and other holidays, there was no Sallah holiday for Muslims on Eid el-Fitr and Eid el-Kabir days during the c

Teacher Arrested And Released After Raping 6-Month-Old Baby And Rupturing Her Intestines In Yobe State

A 40-year-old deaf teacher was arrested on September 1, for raping a 6-month-old baby in Yobe State. According to reports which trended on twitter under the hashtag #JusticeForHajara, the culprit admitted to his crime and is out on bail.

The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Defence Corps (NSCDC), Muhammad Gidado Fari, revealed that the teacher, identified as Shaaibu Yakubu Abdullahi, was arrested by men of the NSCDC for allegedly raping the baby in the Potiskum area of Yobe state.

The NSCDC commandant revealed that the deaf teacher allegedly connived with his 10-year-old student, who carried the baby to him from her neighbour’s house and he defiled her, adding that although Abdullahi denied the allegation, he was identified by the 10-year-old student in a group picture of staff and student taken in the school.

Yari said the suspected rapist was arrested after a non-governmental organization, National Council of Women Society (NCWS), reported the situation to the corps, added that the matter has been reported to the state’s Ministry of Justice for prosecution as the case needs a professional in sign language to interpret.

The President of NCWS, Halima Kyari Joda, said the baby was taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for examination and proper treatment.

The producer, regardless of other motives he has, is painting a very bad image of the Igbo people. Igbos are just a hardworking people and not gluttons and lovers of money.

The Igbos like other ethnic groups in Nigeria are hospitable, loving and work with their hands and brains.

I do not therefore, appreciate the image of the Igbos which this video is painting. It's not just as an Igbo man...but as a Nigerian who wants the unity of the country.

CelebritiesHusband To OAP Toolz, Capt. Demuren Loses Job At Aero Airlines by donmayorgroup(op): 3:46am On Sep 03, 2016
Nigerians recently awoke to news that the country’s oldest airline, Aero Contractors was pulling out after a long battle with financial crisis. While many are hopeful about the ‘ember months bringing forth something positive, it wouldn’t be the same for almost 2000 people who hitherto were staff of the now going out-of-business-airline.

One of these people is the amiable celebrity pilot, Captain Tunde Demuren who is popular OAP, Toolz’ husband. Captain Demuren as he is fondly called is a pilot for Aero which is now going out of commercial activities following a break down in the management which was being done by AMCON.

The agency took over the troubled airline in 2011 after the management failed to repay its loan. This development is coming three months after the couple had their grand white wedding in Dubai and eight months after their Lagos traditional wedding which held at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

Observers however tell BlackBox Nigeria that the handsome pilot has very little to fear as it wouldn’t take him much time to bounce back and get into the employs of another airline.

Tunde Demuren is the son of Harold Demuren, a former Director General of National Civil Aviation Authority who remains one of the most powerful Nigerians in the aviation industry.

Another close source however further revealed to BBN that the pilot might however venture fulltime into the entertainment industry. It might interest you to know that a young Tunde Demuren once had a dream to become a rapper which didn’t get the approval of his dad who insisted on him being a pilot.

He has however been involved in the management of Banky W’s EME which has his elder brother, Segun Demuren as a co-owner.

There is however no cause for alarm, Tunde Demuren is a big boy who isn’t going broke anytime soon. Moreover, his bae, Princess Tolu Oniru better known as Toolz also has a great job as an OAP and Assistant Director of Programs at Beat FM.

According to THE NATION, the Vice President said, the Nigerian Police personnel, from many instances worldwide, are better trained and equipped than their counterparts in other countries. He said:

“The Nigeria Police is one of the very best that we have anywhere in the world and I say so because I have worked with law enforcement agents for many years. I have served in the United Nations special operations in the justice sector like the UN Mission in Somalia for about a year and I saw Police Forces from everywhere across the world.

“The Nigeria Police was there too and everybody admitted that they were possibly the most effective on ground there in Somalia. They were effective because they were better trained, better educated than every other Police Force that was there, besides, they were well equipped by the UN,” he added. The Vice President commended the establishment of a Crime and Incident Data Base Centre for the Police, adding that Nigeria was ready for smart policing.

The Centre, he said, will go a long way in helping the Police address crime using technology.

“The direction that we should be going is smart policing. Policing that is technology serving and based more on common sense and technology than just manually doing everything.

“I think one of the most important things that this Crime Data Base Centre will do is to equip the Police, to be able to do the kind of investigation that is required to cope with crime today,” he said.

He urged the Police to collaborate with other data processing agencies in the country in order to fully utilize the Centre.

Speaking earlier, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris said the data base centre will further equip the police in its quest to rid the country of criminals. According to him, the project is estimated to cost over N16 billion.

“This project is costing about N16 billion but this is the first phase. The federal government has been supporting us to modernise the Police Force, to ensure that we move in tandem with modern strategies in policing.

For us, it’s very important to move ahead of the criminals, who always want to be a step ahead of us, so that we will be able to arrest and prosecute them,” he stated.

CrimeWhite Mum Charged For Slapping Teen! by donmayorgroup(op): 11:47pm On Sep 01, 2016
A white mother of a high school student is facing assault charges after she grabbed a black student by the shirt and slapped him across his face.

Instead of breaking up the fight and cooling things down, however, Sebra grabbed Thomas’s shirt and slapped him across the face. She also seemed to think that Thomas had called her son a racial slur that’s typically used against black people.

“You’re not gonna call my son a n*gger, you understand me?” she shouted at him.

Thomas insists that he never called her son that and asks her

“Why would I call him a n*gger?” just after she slaps him.

Sebra was formally charged with assault this week and a protective order was served against her by the Northumberland Sheriff’s Office.

Thomas’s mother, Nicole Thomas, was outraged that a grown woman would attack her teenage son instead of trying to stop the fight.

“How dare you?” she said. “

For this woman to restrain my son by holding him by the shirt and then sticking her finger in his face after slapping him.”

Check out a local news report of the incident below.

CelebritiesMeet Beautiful Sharon Edward, The Winner Of Miss Crystal Nigeria Africa! by donmayorgroup(op): 2:14am On Aug 15, 2016
It really takes quite some time for people to impress me. Although I understand the effects of first impression, I have also come to understand that first impressions may actually not be an individual’s true personality or behavior. People’s behavior is influenced by various factors and it may just happen that you meet him/her at the wrong time! But in the case of Miss Sharon Edward, it was different. Her first impression was truly something never to forget!

A final year student of University of Port Harcourt, studying foreign Language and literature, Miss Sharon has imbibed enormous values which have brought her this far.

Sharon has passion for humanity and to make gender equality a reality, she sought for the right platform to fulfill her dreams. She needed a platform to reach out to people, especially women and youth, to give them a sense of belonging, make them understand who they are in the society and the need to sustain the fight.

Under this passion, in this new year of beginning, Divas clashed, Angels fell, Queens arose and a rare Crystal was discovered!

This beautiful queen who hails from Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, just like my father used to tell me…’Do not be afraid to pursue your dreams…’; pursued her dreams and was never shaken in the face of challenges and obstacles. Thanks to the organizers of Miss Crystal Nigeria.

The crown was keenly constested by about a dozen beautiful damsels.

In fact, Sharon had many doubts but the faith in God and the zeal to bring her dreams to reality propelled her. She worked really hard and today…I present to you the lady with the crown, Miss Crystal Nigeria Africa…Sharon Edward!!

Sharon is one step to achieving her goals. This is just a platform for achievements.

And for you out there, it’s obvious that the road to success is rough and thin. But you have no excuse not to make it in life. You have no excuse to fail in life. Whatever it is God has given you as a gift, whatever dream you have, I dare you today to pursue it vigorously. You might encounter challenges…in fact, you might even fall and fail along the way, but don’t give up!

What won’t kill you will make you stronger!

CareerIt’s Better To Fail In Doing Something, Than To Excel In Doing Nothing! by donmayorgroup(op): 1:54am On Aug 06, 2016
Somebody said that these nuggets are getting into my head..and I replied..’its rather slow. I want it in my brain!’

Good Morning.

When I remembered this, I heaved a sigh of relief because I know am doing something and if I fail tomorrow, I will be satisfied that I tried-I did something.

Anybody who is currently achieving anything in life is at the same time risking failure! In fact, failure is the first necessary step towards achieving success. If you don’t risk failing, we won’t get the chance to succeed.

Dear, the greatest mistake you will make in life is to be afraid of failing. I have failed severally. I began writing at a very tender age. I struggled and struggled. I have written novels, short stories, plays…in fact one of my books got stuck with the publisher! So what it means is that I have no published work. I have heaps of unpublished works in my house. Haha. I FAILED! But I didn’t give up.

I delved into movie script writing. In fact, I was in robbed of one of my movie scripts when I was in secondary school! I FAILED AGAIN!

I turned my attention to blogging and that’s why you are reading Michael Doo’s Blog! I did not give up writing. I failed severally, but it gave me the strength to forge ahead.

Stop trying to be perfect. When you have a serious decision to make, tell yourself firmly that you will make it. Don’t expect it to be a perfect one. Don’t expect to make it immediately. In fact, you should prepare for the storm ahead.

Listen to Henry Ward Beecher:

‘I don’t like these cold, precise, perfect people who, in order not to speak wrong, never speak at all, and in order not to do wrong, never do anything’

Did you hear that?

The point here is that the pursuit of excellence is gratifying and healthy; but the pursuit of excellence is frustrating, unproductive and a terrible waste of time. I love making mistakes. Do you know why? See, even a mistake may turn out to be the one thing necessary to a worthwhile achievement!

And finally, go out this morning bearing in mind that some people learn from their mistakes; some never recover from it. Learn to fail intelligently. Develop success from failure.

FamilyRe: I Was Nearly Raped By My Neighbor’s 7-year Old Girl In My House Yesterday!!! by donmayorgroup(op): 9:04am On Aug 02, 2016
Juxtified:
The best thing for Chike to do will be to report to the parents if the girl, but I have my reservations about that. Will they believe their 7yr old baby can do that? They may think it is the ''kind of play" Chike has been playing with their kid blame Chike instead. Also other parents in the neighborhood may begin to see Chike as a paedophile (you know, oh, no longer he pretends to like our children so much, using candies to lure them into his room! and then begin to instruct them not to go near uncle Chike's house).
The decision to report or not is Chike's, if it were me I would gradually withdraw from letting any of the kids come to my house alone or in groups, except when their parents or another adult is with them. Children are very suggestible and could easily be made to falsely accuse you.
Thanks @juxtified. That was a clean one.
PoliticsMassive Resignations Hit DSS by donmayorgroup(op): 8:57am On Aug 02, 2016
Vanguard News reports that a gale of resignation has hit the Department of State Services, DSS, in recent times, forcing the management of the service to temporarily place a moratorium on further voluntary resignation from personnel of the service.

Investigations by Vanguard at the headquarters of the Nigerian secret police indicated that in the last 10 months, no fewer than 70 middle cadre and junior cadre officers had resigned from the service, both from the state commands and the national headquarters.

While some of the officers resigned because they got better offers of employment from, especially embassies of western nations, others resigned because of unfavourable terms of employment they alleged had pervaded the service since the take over of the present Director General of the agency, Mallam Lawal Musa Daura.

One of the staff who resigned two weeks ago, told Vanguard: “The condition of service is no longer favourable. Some allowances that we were entitled to were stopped, while others were cut in half without explanation. “Most importantly, operation allowances that we used to enjoy were stopped without any reason. And we were still expected to put in our best. If I cannot be treated well while in service, how will my family be treated well when I am dead? It’s unfortunate that I had to leave after so much has been invested in me by this country.’’

Another personnel who said he would also leave in the next few months, told Vanguard that the condition of service was no longer palatable. “During the last dispensation, the service personnel were well motivated to do their job. We embark on dangerous covert assignments to keep the nation safe and all that we get in return is insults and suspicion from the leadership of the service.

Fortunately, most of us are well trained so our services are needed by those countries that helped in training us. We cannot be jobless. If you get a better offer, it’s only natural to move” he said. Another complain given by those who left is that “there appears to be no future in remaining. When I joined the service, it was like one family. There was no regional or ethnic segmentation. What we have seen so far is perception of actions or inactions from the prism of where one comes from. We were told during training that your competence will make or mar you. That promise has been compromised. It’s no longer interesting” she said.

Vanguard gathered that at the last count, five of those personnel who left were absorbed by the American Embassy, ten by several banks and other financial institutions as head of security, while about four have joined oil companies.

Worried by the steady resignation, the management of the service issued a circular through departmental heads and state Directors directing that voluntary resignation by service personnel should no longer be accepted until further notice. No member of the service was ready to speak on record and the service has no official spokesman since the last one, Marylyn Ogar left service.

However, a senior official of the service who spoke with vanguard in confidence claimed that the last dispensation exposed its personnel to unnecessary wealth “which is capable of compromising operational duties” “There is no way the present leadership would have continued with the shenanigans that was perpetrated in the last dispensation.

Apparently the leadership wants to return the service to its founding vision which is selfless service to the nation. It’s obvious that those who cannot fit in would naturally leave” he said.

It will be recalled that DSS 65 cadet officers of the service who were undergoing training at the State Services Academy, SSA, in Lagos, including a sibling of the sacked former spokes person of the service, Marilyn Ogar were asked to leave in September last year, few weeks to their passing out. No reason was given for their dismissal which was contained in a letter by the Director General of the Department of State Service, Lawal Daura.

A senior officer of the service who is familiar with the matter told Vanguard then that their sack was “inevitable” because their recruitment process was “flawed.” He explained that “What happened was that recruitment of most of these cadets did not follow due process. They were brought into the service by politicians without meeting the stringent requirements set by the service in recruiting its personnel. They were dumped on the service by politicians through the active connivance of the past leadership of the service. We are re-organising the service so we cannot afford to have partisan political moles in our midst” the source said. The source who is a senior operative of the service said the process of “weeding undesirable elements” who found their way into the service was ongoing. The present leadership of the service is determined to reposition the service to its professional roles.

There is nothing personal about the decision of the service. It was a very painful decision in view of the investment made on them but it was a decision that must be taken” he had said

FamilyI Was Nearly Raped By My Neighbor’s 7-year Old Girl In My House Yesterday!!! by donmayorgroup(op): 7:19am On Aug 02, 2016
Chai!...Wahala dey o. My ears don hear taya!

Just last night, my former school mate who lives in Enugu called to narrate an incident to me. When he finished the narration…I was just there, mute. I couldn’t immediately come up with an idea or an advice to give to him. Honestly, I don’t know what to tell him. That’s why I decided to bring it here, probably someone will advise us better before he behaves like Ogbonnaya Ene Odi, the Ohaozara coordinator who filmed and assaulted a girl for refusing to give him s3x!!READ IT HERE>>>http://www.michaeldoosblog.info/2016/07/ohaozara-coordinator-in-ebonyi-state.html

Here is the story.

Chike, my firend is a very nice guy. He is very social, jovial and the killer of it all is that he is the husband to every young little kid along his street! He loves kids. He buys them gifts and even canes them when they misbehave, although, he does it out of love. These kids’ parents love Chike so much, especially the ones who sell beverages in front of their compound. In fact, if Chike needed to buy anything, we would just call the woman on the phone and she will send her little 7 Year Old daughter to bring whatever it is to ‘Uncle Chike’ On Sundays, whenever Chike cooks or his girlfriend is around, they cook food and call these kids to eat. After eating, they watch Nickelodeon and fall asleep on the floor only for their parents to come for them later. This is the relationship between Chike and kids.

But lately, my friend made a rather disturbing observation. Chike observed that each time, Blessing, the 7 year old girl comes to his house, she will always grab Chike, of course she gets to the waists. Sometimes she will reach out for Chike’s belt line. Chike had always seen it as probably a mistake or an unintentional act, so he waved it off.

But on Sunday, just yesterday, something happened which actually dawned on ‘Uncle Chike’ that the devil was actually after him. My friend came back from a mid afternoon outing. And as usual, the girl on sighting him from their shop rushed with screams of ‘Uncle Chike, Uncle Chike’ to embrace my friend. The absence of other younger kids suggested they were asleep. So Chike bought her biscuit and turned to leave but she opted to follow him to watch Nickelodeon. Chike, who didn’t need disturbance, asked her to stay but she insisted. Even the mother wanted her to leave so she could have her peace. So she followed Chike. When they got inside, instead of going for the Tv and Remote as usual, she sat on the bed looking at Chike. Thinking she didn’t want to power the TV herself, Chike strode to the Tv, powered it and while it boots, you know DSTV, he dashed into the rest room to ease himself. While in there, he heard, ‘uncle, Uncle’ and two hands wrapped him from behind when he wanted to zip his trouser. One hand immediately grabbed his ‘Pride’ Jeeezzzzz!!!. Chike flung her away furious and surprised at her action. He warned her seriously and asked her to go watch the Tv. She left, closely followed by Chike.

Back into the room, she sat on the floor but a surprised Chike lay flat on the bed thinking of what just happened. But all of a sudden, Blessing climbed unto his body, with one hand behind holding fast to his ‘Pride’ again!!! Chike flung her away, stood up and dragged her out of the room. She didn’t want to go. She was saying, ‘Uncle, Uncle, let me stay, let me stay....’ Chike successfully threw her outside and locked his door!!

Goshhhh…things can happen o… a girl of 7 years old. How did she learn all these? What suddenly went wrong with her? Well, the greater issue here is that Chike is confused. My friend needs your advice. Please what do you suggest Chike should do?

Please your comments are priceless!
