I drained my Tilapia pond and removed these huge mudfish. Obviously, they have been feeding on some of my Tilapia fry as well as on the fish feed.

HOW DID THE MUDFISH ARRIVE IN MY POND?
The came during the rainy season two years ago as a nearby river flooded it banks and somehow walked into my pond. shocked

Yes, if you know mudfish, you'd know they have a way of travelling distances and even surviving through the dry seasons in the earth.

DISADVANTAGES OF HAVING MUDFISH IN YOUR TILAPIA POND.
1. They feed on your tilapia fries. For Catfish farming, it's said that allowing Tilapia in your pond could result in mortalities among the catfish due to the sharp bones of Tilapia. But what da heck?
2. They compete for the tilapia feed you supply to the pond.
3. They compete for space which could lead to overcrowding.

ADVANTAGES OF HAVING MUDFISH IN YOUR TILAPIA POND.
1. The help check overcrowding of tilapia as they feed on some of your young fishes.
2. They are bottom feeders and as such could be said to help in keeping the water cleaner by preventing contamination of the water from excess feed dropping to the bottom of the pond.
3. Earn more from the sale of hefty mud fishes like those you find in the pictures below.

NB: I tried my best to take out as many mud fishes as I could as the Tilapia is my focus.

Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced England's Plan B measures are to end with mandatory face coverings in public places and COVID-19 passports both dropped.

People in England will no longer be required to wear face masks anywhere or work from home from next week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Wednesday (19 January), adding that scientists believed a wave of the Omicron coronavirus variant had peaked nationally.

Johnson also said that while people would still be required to self-isolate for now, he did not expect to renew self-isolation legislation, which will expire in March, and would look into scrapping the requirement sooner.

“Because of the extraordinary booster campaign, together with the way the public have responded to the Plan B measures, we can return to Plan A in England and allow Plan B regulations to expire as a result from the start of Thursday next week,” Johnson told parliament.

Johnson said mandatory COVID-19 certification would end, though businesses could choose to continue COVID passes if they wanted to.

The move comes at a time when French President Emmanuel Macron has toughened restrictions by making the COVID-19 certification a vaccination pass, and when Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides warned that the current Omicron wave may not be the last one.

A federal judge blocked the Biden administration’s Covid-19 vaccine requirement for federal employees, the latest legal setback for the president’s push to inoculate workers.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey V. Brown in Texas said President Biden didn’t have the broad, unilateral authority to mandate “that all federal employees consent to vaccination against Covid-19 or lose their jobs.”

Hmm. It seems Abuja courts tend to align with Malami's biddings. An Ibadan court awarded damages for Igboho against the FG. Now, an umuahia court is doing same for Kanu. If it's what I am thinking that justice is now increasingly coloured by sentiments, then administration of justice is unfortunate in this country.

Do not let the actions of a certain criminal in Abuja color your opinion regarding the administration of justice in Nigeria.
