Is it scriptural to annoint people with oil in Jesus Name?
Have people made doctrines out of it?
Should we then cancel it because some people have made doctrine out of the use of the annointing oil?

I was about to type this. Hagin repeated the story so many times. Even in Belivers authority. I have also watched many tapes of him. He said the demon looked like a monkey and not that it was a monkey spirit.

This is the scripture, but it isn't the formulae for healing. Of course people will misuse any scripture.

That is why I pointed you to the deaf and dumb spirit in a boy yet the manifestations were not related to being deaf and dumb at all.

With my experience with demons, I know that a demon can be in a persons heart yet that person might be having swellings in their belly.

There are 2 funny stories I have experienced with Pastor Chris. Once I heard him say he was told by the Holy Spirit to place his hand on a woman’s head yet on the placard she was holding she had an issue with her stomach. She tried to place his hands on her tummy but he corrected her. I heard later that when she went to her doctor (who confirmed her totally healed BTW) he told her that he did a CAT scan on her previously because they noticed a tumor was building in her head (but he did not tell her because they were not sure it was benign or malignant).

The point is there are certain things that only the Holy Spirit can determine. Trust him and leave sense knowledge teachings. Jesus said the kingdom of God is not determined by careful observation. You don’t look and say because this and this happened, then it is so and so. No it is wrong.

My 2nd story is about Benny Hinn and Pastor Chris. They were ministering together and after Benny prayed for a woman who said she was healed of something else (can’t remember what) as she was going, Pastor Chris called her back and cast out a demon he said he could see hanging to her lungs area.

Guess what? She admitted to him that she was also asthmatic. Yet that is not what she came out to testify she was healed of.

That is why we don’t just call demons by their functions. When you trust God by his word ALONE he will guide you into all truth and show you things experience will never teach you.

I think sometimes that the issue has to do with accepting everything a man of God says as gospel truth. Pastor Chris does not condemn Masturbation, I do! Almost all CE member take the position of Pastor Chris simply because he is a man of God. But men of God are not infallible. They are still human despite the anointing.

Unfortunately, you seem to lump up everyone who has done deliverance as "one of those extremists" you see on TV. No bro!

Demons lie. That's there nature. They speak half truths, that's their nature. Every Christian who God has used to cast out demons must have the spirit of discernment. There arebsome simple rules of the kinds of questions a christian can ask a demon (an never doctrinal)
1. Who are you?
2. What have you done to her
3. How many are you in her

Some Christians say it is not necessary! But how come setimes a single session does not cast out all the demons?

Interestingly, I have never personally come across demons whobwill say they are second in command to Satan. I have come across one who called himself Satan (of course its a lie), I have even come across a demon who said (I am Jesus, you can't cast me out!) Of course its a lie. Demons are liars. Its always a lie when demons say "I am her mother in-law, grandfather, etc Its only to cause confusion and strife among family members. Demons impersonate.

However, (from experence- and its not a rule) once you know their name, it doesn't take time for you to cast them out. Sometimes, you dont even want them to name themselves, you just bind them together and cast them out.

Some say as a rule, they don't allow demons to speak! Fine, as long as the demons are evicted, glory be to God. But if following the example of Jesus, SOMETIMES, Jesus says " who are you?". And there I stand.

When a demon calls itself a spiritual husband, "I say you spiritual husband, your time is up, Out! In Jesus name". Andbit goes.

My problem is that some people who have never ever encountered demons who call themselves spiritual husbands/wife have the audacity to say spiritual spouses do not exist!

Over 80% of deliverances do not even go with physical manifestations, yet deliverances have taken place.

So, its not everybody who " acts drama" with deliverance. Our level of grace, experience and opportunities differ. The level of understanding of the word also differ.

But it is wrong to say some spiritual reality doesn't exist simply becausebyou haven't come across it and it doesn't directly violate the word of God.

There are spirit wives and husbands. Every experience is not necessarily authenticated by the Bible. There are practical experiences that affirms the existence.

A friend of mine had his marriage broken by a spirit husband. He appeared to him warning him to live his wife because she is his. This happened in the dream. Few days later, he used a stick to hit his leg in the dream and he woke up paralyzed. He has since br oken up with his wife for the safety of his life.

I have personally ministered to a young lady who said she had a spirit husband who married her at the age of five. She even wears the wedding ring and he comes to make love with her every night for over ten years. I ministered to her and she was free. She never had the experience again.

I worshipped at Christ Embassy Gwagwalada Branch some years ago when I was doing a research program at Abuja. I didn't see anything super extraordinary with them. I enjoyed the worship ( the urshers and many church members were a distraction).

So, forgive me if I lumped all of you together. Bit the truth is that I think most of you "worship" pastor Chris while spiritual experience is zero.

Something funny happened when Jesus cast out the demon from that boy who was foaming in the mouth and trying to dip himself inside a fire.

Jesus commanded the "deaf and dumb" spirit to come out even though the signs the boy was displaying were more violent and destructive than the name Jesus called the demon will suggest.

If it were today, some people will bring out a whole doctrine on the demon of fire and destruction and teach that anyone who behaves like the boy in the story has it. Whereas, it was a deaf and dumb spirit.

This is the danger of teaching experiences as the word of God.
