Do you think God randomly selected her or he must have prepared her for a long time?
If she had said "no way!" The Lord will simply seek another virgin.

Raphael81:
At what stage do you think the Holy Ghost must have sanctified her please?
The moment she received the Word of the Lord from Gabriel by faith.

Jn 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

The Spirit and the Word work together. The Spirit and the Word created this world.

Does your God dwell in a dirty place?
Of course not... and that's why the angel said:
"... The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." -Lk 1:35

The Holy Spirit is the sanctifier.

Your first assertion is right. Polygamy satisfies the selfish of the man.
And how did you come about that polygamy isnt a natural instinct... are you a man?

Did you carry out any surveys? Any research work done?

flyca:
Second assertion is wrong. I said, if religion permits so, will men be happy as second-husbands. A way of putting polygamous men into the shoes of the women they knit-together as co-wives.

As the old saying goes, don't judge a person until you wear their shoes and walk around in it.
It is never correct to attempt to put a man in a woman's shoes on issues of marriage. A man is a man, and a woman a woman, they both have their roles in the union.

Yes they are equal beings in God's sight but in a marriage each one must take his/her place with the Word of God as guiding principle.

I am a christian and certainly not an advocate of polygamy but I am not comfortable with this medernistic trend of putting man and woman on the same pedestal in a marriage.

"Polygamy just satisfies the selfish interest of a man."
...So according to you, polygamy isn't man's natural instincts but plain selfish instincts right?

Then you implied that the only thing stopping women from doing same (loving sex with multiple partners or husbands) is religion...

flyca:
"Will men be happy as second-husbands if religion permits so? I bet they will do worse"

Polygamy just satisfies the selfish interest of a man.

No woman on earth wants to share her man with any other. No woman will be happy sharing her husband either. The ones that have decided to live with it is out of religious indoctrinations and no choice.

The woman is not wicked. She is just acting on natural instincts! Will men be happy as second-husbands if religion permits so? I bet they will do worse
Okay, so women love sex and multiple partners naturally more than or at least equal to men? Interesting. undecided
