Many West African tribes who migrated from Ethiopia are those from the Babylonian captivity of the southern Kingdom of Judah. Yes, Ethiopia is in the region of Ancient Babylon. Ancient Babylon was a Kushite civilization. Then we had those who settled in the Sahel after fleeing the destruction of Jerusalem (in southern Africa). All of that stretch from Mali to present day Sudan was called SOUDAN referring to So-Yudan = Juda. It is from this group that those who conquered and ruled Spain and Portugal came. The rest of them migrated south to join their brethren fleeing persecution and slavery from invading Islamists. Those Jews deported from Spain and Portugal were the same Bantus/negroes who migrated out of North Africa along with the Moors through Morocco and into Spain and Portugal in the year 711. Majority of them were deported back to the coasts of Africa... The coastal regions of Nigeria, Togo Benin Republic, Ghana, Angola etc. where the rest of thier brethren from the Northern and Southern Kingdoms had already settled. The descendants of these Isrealites (Juda) from Europe were later put on slave ships and sent to America. Of course not all of Judah were put on slave ships, also not all of Judah left for Europe. So there's a mixture of tribes but I will try and identify a few tribes in subsequent posts. Many still go by their ancient biblical names, though unknown to them. Some can be identified by their peculiar history. And yes, the quarel between the Northern and the southern kingdoms continues even to this day. 1 Share
