Kennethy:You need proof of funds for atleast 6months |
Larryjam:Agricultural stream is a vital sector and success rate for visa approval is very high |
abbeylfc:Just have it in the back of your mind that this route requires patience. Maybe your agent didn't tell you. Even though it's 99% sure that you will get a work permit (temporary foreign worker), you will have to wait for a minimum of 2years. Just get your upfront medical, a bogus POF, do your Wes evaluation (for PR process),learn skills and get certified while you wait. |
mzjennypher:No proof of fund needed. |
Canada tfw program is a very slow process. After upfront medical have been approved, I got my job offer, signed contract, submit PCC, waiting for BIL. The wait is worth it though |
ClassicJohn:Boss please I will like to get the contact of the person who facilitated your transcript transfer to WES in AAU. I'm very far from ekpoma. All payment have been made online for over a month now, yet WES haven't received transcript. donoz2010@gmail.com is my email address. Thanks |

Thanks for this information. I'm also processing my transcript to WES. I made payment online a month ago and up till now WES haven't received my transcript from AAU. Please can you help me with the contact so I can use to facilitate mine. My WhatsApp phone number is Zero eight one three five three two three one one five. Thanks |

peejayT:Congratulations peejayT. Did your employer provide you with flight ticket money.? I think this is supposed to be stated on the contract paper (offer letter) you signed. |
peejayT:IRCC promised to speed up processing time by recruiting more workers. I hope they keep to their promise. |
rockford:Thanks for the answers. Presently trying to get WES evaluation for my credentials and that of my spouse, also passport renewal as passport expires Aug 2023. Canada relocation is not for those without the virtue Patience. |
@rockford congratulations. This is what I'm looking forward too hopefully in months from now. Please answer these questions below 1. what was the cost of the flight ticket? 2. Do you also have to pay for Airbnb when you are aware that your employer is going to provide an accomodation probably upon arrival which is part of the contract ? 3. With spouse open work permit, are jobs readily available or spouse have do a rigorous job hunting to secure one. 4. Can spouse who is a dependent and have an open work permit be the primary applicant for PR? I'm really optimistic. |
peejayT:Not yet. Agent said it normally takes up to 10-18 weeks for approval. I'm patiently waiting for this slow and sure route. |
@marytess, Chest x-ray( tuberculosis, asthma etc), urinalysis, vital signs, eye test, medical history. I paid 164k for family of 4. Family of 3 will be less |
Good evening all. I'm glad I came across this thread. Thanks Rockford. My process is ongoing. I started with an agent March. Aug 8th I went for medicals with my family. Upfront as instructed by the agent. I'm still waiting for medical result approval by IRCC. I learnt it can up to 2 or 3months. I will update everyone here as the process goes. @rockford I believe you are already in Canada, please let us know how things are going there, and your pathway to attaining PR. Thanks |
